They have a menu for breakfast and a menu for kids I ordered the grilled octopus and the chaufa with chicken. OMG!!!! Everything was delcious, generous portions, phenomenal flavor. The octopus was perfectly cooked and the chaufa had lots of chicken, hot, and freshly prepared. All the dishes were tasty and flavorful. Im Peruvian and love coming here for breakfast. The Lima breakfast comes with a pork rind sandwich with thinly sliced sweet potatoes and onions and either coffee or tea. The pork is always crunchy and just so soft. I get the passion fruit smoothie with milk and it's just the perfect combo. If I could give it a 4.5 out of 5 I would. It was NEAR perfect. I've never had authentic Peruvian cuisine unless it was La Brasa, but this place puts them to shame. I order the Tacu Tacu con Lomo Saltado and I didn't know what to expect because it didn't have a picture. But man oh man was it good. The serving sizes are very big. I could only finish half of mine. I wish I had two stomachs!! The reason I say 4.5 stars is because the service takes a long time. They are very busy, which is a good thing, but if my aunt didn't know the workers there, who knows how long we would've waited. Even then, a smaller table recieved their food before we did so I thought that was kinda bad. But it could also mean that the food we ordered just took longer to cook. They are a family owned business after all. You can tell by the chemistry of the workers. They played music and novelas on the screens and it felt like home. Its not too cold or too warm inside, the waitresses are friendly and it smells DIVINE as soon as I walked in. Tip: Try everything! I just got an extra large jalea (familiar) and I'm very dissapointed. The flavor was ok not what I expected and the color of the deep fried sea food was darker than normal like if they had used a very old oil. The octopus, calamari, shrimp and yucas hard as a rock! it was unedible. My jalea familiar came with only a few shrimp and 5 small pieces of greasey yuca. The container of the jalea is large. Unfortunately almost half of the container was filled with very small fried pieces that were even harder to eat. What a joke!!! To pay almost $60 for a dish that is not enjoyable. And on top of that the tartar sauce wasn't the Peruvian style tartar sauce. It was a greasey mayo, I got three of them and only one container of hot sauce. The last time I ordered the jalea was $10 less and better. Stay away from ordering jaleas at Las delicias del Peru. Horrible experience ever. read more

Last time I will ever set foot in this place, yuck. The service is nonexistent and consistently bad. The food is not Peruvian, greasy, full of soy sauce or salt, and overcooked or burnt. To top it off, they charge not based on the menu, but based on what they want to bill you. Even if your two people, they add an 18% service fee and tell you it's their tip. So the tip is not up to the client. The wait staff decides what they want to be tipped for bad service and getting the order wrong. The customer is always wrong in this place. Where do I start...came in for breakfast. There were 3 employees sitting and watching TV. I ordered the breakfast which I felt was s but pricy at $8.99 and what I got cost them, maybe $1-$2.00. . You get a choice of "cafe o te". I opted for the coffee which is the size of American coffee but richer. Served with a sugar container but No cream. Strange how All the Tables have No condiments on the table. The scrambled eggs came out brown, over cooked and very, very salty. From the first bite the salt overwhelmed the flavor of the egg. It came with 2 slices of bacon and sausages and 2 factory produced hash browns and All were Deep Fried! Yikes. The Hash browns were Perfectly shaped, exactly like the frozen ones you buy at home. The sausages were so deep friend it looked like blisters on a finger. Everything was Super greasy and tasted the same, like OIL! The only thing that was "ok" was a fresh piece of bread that's served with the breakfast. Disgusting breakfast. Once I was served, no one ever came by to ask if everything was Ok or bring me water, etc. First and last time that I'll walk in here. A definite Thumbs Down. read more

I had stopped coming to this location because in my opinion the food quality plummeted, but I've since returned to this restaurant because I heard they began serving an extremely hard to find specialty breakfast called "Lurin." Went in for lunch time for 3 people...meals ordered: - Traditional Ceviche - 3 cuzquenas - 1 papa a la huancaina - 1 aji de gallina - 1 jalea (fried assorted fish) The ceviche more sour than I have tasted in other places but still okay. The aji de gallina did not have much chicken nor potatoes. The jalea was missing it's peruvian style tartar sauce which is essential for this dish. The waitress FAILED TO DISCLOSE they ran out of this sauce when I placed my order. Unacceptable as there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant. Lacking in customer service. Waitress kept running to the kitchen for long periods of time and it took way to long for ordering food, getting refills on water, getting napkins, etc. read more

I have to go back again sometime. The only problem was the tip. The price of the food is pretty decent, but they include a service/gratuity charge, and then give you the option of leaving a tip with the check.
