    Spicy Ceviche with Corvina

I've been here plenty of times and thought I'd done a review by now but. Parking is a pain and don't stress out of you get blocked in. It's normal and everyone is friendly enough to let you out. It's located in a strip mall with other stores close by. Inside has always had music playing and been comfortable. I normally go for the traditional spicy ceviche. This Peruvian restaurant has an extensive menu so bring an appetite.

The pan con chicharrón was delicious, and the coffee tasted just like home. Overall, our experience was wonderful -- thank you so much!

I can't believe I just found this place. It's hole in the wall. Not in best neighborhood but definitely worth it!! The food was soooo good. Their menu is a little tricky but I'm definitely coming back to try the breakfast. The trio ceviche was delicious, the ceviche is made perfectly, not too raw or overcooked. The rice was so good too. The leche de tigre was pretty big and full of flavor. The service was good too, they were busy but still came around to check on us.

Came across this Peruvian restaurant because I was craving seafood, the menu is diverse, their menu includes soups, classic Peruvian dishes like lomo saltado, ceviches, causas, papa a la huicaina and many more seafood dishes. They have a menu for breakfast and a menu for kids I ordered the grilled octopus and the chaufa with chicken. OMG!!!! Everything was delcious, generous portions, phenomenal flavor. The octopus was perfectly cooked and the chaufa had lots of chicken, hot, and freshly prepared. All the dishes were tasty and flavorful. From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly and attentive and accommodating. The restaurant is very cozy and clean, the fans make it very comfortable. Lovely wall decor and great menus I was a assisted by Isabel, she was friendly, professional and super welcoming! So happy to found this gem!!!

Im Peruvian and love coming here for breakfast. The Lima breakfast comes with a pork rind sandwich with thinly sliced sweet potatoes and onions and either coffee or tea. The pork is always crunchy and just so soft. I get the passion fruit smoothie with milk and it's just the perfect combo. The place might not look the most inviting on the outside but the food is so good and the service is too.

If I could give it a 4.5 out of 5 I would. It was NEAR perfect. I've never had authentic Peruvian cuisine unless it was La Brasa, but this place puts them to shame. I order the Tacu Tacu con Lomo Saltado and I didn't know what to expect because it didn't have a picture. But man oh man was it good. The serving sizes are very big. I could only finish half of mine. I wish I had two stomachs!! The reason I say 4.5 stars is because the service takes a long time. They are very busy, which is a good thing, but if my aunt didn't know the workers there, who knows how long we would've waited. Even then, a smaller table recieved their food before we did so I thought that was kinda bad. But it could also mean that the food we ordered just took longer to cook. They are a family owned business after all. You can tell by the chemistry of the workers. They played music and novelas on the screens and it felt like home. Its not too cold or too warm inside, the waitresses are friendly and it smells DIVINE as soon as I walked in. Tip: Try everything! Be open minded to new foods like the Cooked Corn bits they serve at the table while you wait. They weren't that bad.

I politely asked if the seasoning could simply be left off due to an allergy, and my request was refused. Rather than accommodating a simple dietary restriction, I was told that the dish wouldn't taste the way the chef intended. While I understand wanting to preserve the intended flavor, customer health and safety should come first--especially when dealing with allergies. I find it concerning that no effort was made to accommodate a reasonable request or even ask about the severity of the allergy. In today's restaurant industry, flexibility and customer care are important. Unfortunately, I found the service to be very unaccommodating, and given the high prices, I expected much better. I will not be returning.

The restaurant is on the east side of 441 just south of Sheridan street. We came from the east and made a u turn at 441 and entered the parking lot through the Mobil gas station. Parking is at a premium here as there's a Family Dollar store and a Sedano's supermarket in the same strip. They specialize in seafood boils. On the window outside they were advertising chargrilled oysters for a $1 each. Dine in only. Woohoo. My husband and I each ordered a dozen oysters and one side of potatoes. The chargrilled oysters were great. Dowsed in garlic butter, and served hot, they actually tasted chargrilled. They came with lemon wedges and a few slices of bread to sop up the oyster flavored butter. The side of potatoes were three small red bliss potatoes that had been steamed. They were plain -- no seasoning --but that was okay as I also dipped them in the leftover garlicky butter. Two things I didn't particularly care for were 1. that they served plastic ware to eat the oysters. And 2. They automatically include a gratuity on the bill (but they said so up front). To sum up: Bottom line -- liked the oysters (especially for $1 each) but didn't like having to use the plastic forks.

The service is always great and just want to say we adore when our server Karen is available. Ask for her, you will be thrilled. That's not say the others aren't also spectacular at anticipating your needs and menu knowledge, but she has a sparkling personality and doesn't miss a beat. It also says a lot when someone has worked there for years and years. It says without words that employee retention is a reflection of the company itself (management and owners). I definitely highly recommend this environment for those who enjoy a lively place as there is a fun and unique way in which they honor birthdays (a great spot for these celebrations), every guest is given a wooden mallet (hammer) to break the crab shells, however, when they announce a birthday wish over the speakers throughout the array of dining room options (one being a large barge on the canal), EVERYONE bangs their mallets on the tables which creates a cacophony of sound! SO much fun, but do not go there if you have a headache or are looking for a low key atmosphere. We adore The Rustic Inn, as it also has a very New England vibe and that happens to be where I'm from. It is consistently great, and it is a little spendy, but it's CRAB, so don't expect it to be cheap. If you want a delicious meal with top tier hospitality, in a down home environment, The Rustic Inn is the best around and conveniently located right off I-95

It came with a crab ball, two frog legs, gator bites and some peel and eat shrimp in a butter garlic sauce. The shrimp were by far the best part of the platter. For entrees... I had the crab stuffed shrimp which were good but not great. The ratios were off as the shrimp were medium sized at best butterflied with a heaping mound of stuffing. If the shrimp were actually large or jumbo shrimp this ratio would be correct and the flavors would complement each other better. My beautiful date had the skippers platter which came with a strip steak and stuffed shrimp. She had the same opinion about the shrimp and the steak was cooked properly to her liking but it lacked seasoning of any type. I just had a bland beef flavor. Again, not bad, but certainly not what we had expected. Our server, Gemma did a good job taking care of us. There seemed to be a lot of folks there eating crab so perhaps they are more crab centric and that may be what shines there and what they developed their reputation on.

Great brunch by the water with a fun tiki island vibe!…read more We came here for Father's Day to enjoy brunch by the water, and it was such a great experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the host. We were also with someone who uses a wheelchair, and they were very accommodating by seating us on the lower floor, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere has a fun tiki island vibe and, even though it was a hot day, the overall atmosphere was really enjoyable. Now, let's get into the FOOD! We all ordered different dishes, which gave us the perfect excuse to try a little bit of everything. We started with the fried zucchini chips with lemon aioli--so good! The lemon aioli really kicked them up a notch. We also had the banana bread with whipped honey butter, and that butter literally melted in your mouth. Both were fantastic! We also tried the smoked fish dip, which came with fresh vegetables. My husband ordered the oysters. They were a little smaller than the oysters we're used to, but they were still tasty. For our entrees, we all went in different directions. I had the avocado chili salmon, topped with a chili glaze, served with herb rice, grilled broccolini, and sunflower sprouts. This was definitely my favorite dish! Simple, fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We also had the Carne Asada Steak & Eggs, Grains & Greens, and a side of shrimp. Everything we tried was really good, and there was something for everyone. Our waitress was excellent--she was attentive, friendly, and always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. She even took a selfie with us, which was such a fun personal touch! The prices are very reasonable, and they also offer a Rise & Shine brunch option with unlimited mimosas, Bloody Marys, or rosé for $28, which is a great deal if you're looking to enjoy some drinks with your brunch. And if you want something a little more adventurous, they have some fun cocktail options, including the Tiki Loaded Caesar with double Tito's vodka, Clamato, candied bacon, an oyster, shrimp, pickle, and a spiced rim. Or you can go for a fresh-pressed espresso martini. Overall, we had a wonderful Father's Day brunch. Great food, reasonable prices, a fun atmosphere, and excellent service. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the Hollywood area! We'll definitely be back!

We ordered the poke nachos, which were delicious as always--the tuna was fresh, and all of the flavors worked really well together. The oysters were also fresh and tasty, and the Real Margarita with Sauza Blue tequila, fresh lime, agave, and a Tajín rim was really good. The scallops weren't really to our liking, but we understand that the kitchen can't get every dish perfect every single time. What really made the experience better was how the manager handled the situation. They were understanding about our concerns and ended up reimbursing us for our dessert, which we really appreciated. The restaurant was a little quiet, and the food took a bit longer than expected, but overall, the good outweighed the negatives. We were grateful that the manager listened to us and helped resolve the issue. Great customer service can really make a difference, and because of how everything was handled, we're moving this experience up to four stars. We would definitely come back and reassess our experience in the future! Thank you, hector as well for being an amazing Bartender/server we were Treated exquisitely. They own the donut store, have a new tropical fruit business and a hawker street food restaurant and this seafood market. The fact they keep building businesses that work Manh launched in Covid is a testament to their hard work and customer orientation. A few things about the seafood market - they can't filet or clean your fish for you so it means you need to do it yourself- maybe it's licensed as wholesale or their lease doesn't allow for it. About 1/2 the product is frozen fish but remember they are serving an Asian clientele so many want species not available locally so there is a wide range of fish species from Southeast Asia. The fresh fish is limited to what's seasonal and fresh so variety of fresh fish changes and is larger quantities of a smaller range of fish. Everything is either alive in tanks or presented in ice so I don't follow the review that says things in the floor- Asian customers are very discerning about fish being alive or extremely fresh. Prices are great I have received stone crab in colloidal size for the price of mediums and they were almost 1lb a claw. Live crabs and lobsters are under $10 and usually the fish is fairly priced and below the supermarket prices. They are still building g the store it's in "sift launch" mode the fish and the tropical fruit store are selling online and wholesale as well as retail so imagine like all their restaurants and stores they will perfect over time but it's a good edition to Davie
