It has a natural decor with pastel colors interior and a nice garden gazebo decor outdoors with Christmas lights on the wooden fence in the right border. Tables and chairs are plenty with music playing in the background. Music is the ambience trance type, elevator/slightly porno style music. I think this place just wants to get you into the chilled out vibe. They have a cool little cabinet that serves as their library. Take a book - Leave a book. This is Tippi Teas second location and am I glad they opened it here. Situated on the corner of Stanton and Boston Tippi Teas is located in a convenient spot for UTEP and downtown workers alike. It might be a hassle to find parking, but you'll make it work, since their teas are amazing. The variety is unspeakable, besides being able to be done cold or hot, you can also add milk, and make they make smoothies. Tippi Teas sells tea accessories and some other eclectic merchandise. There's plenty of seating and the atmosphere is wonderful. Overall, Tippi Teas should quickly become a local favorite, it's a must try. read more

The last time I experienced Tippi Teas was for a Papaya Riot show so I spent a bit more time watching them then checking out the place. I went back a few days ago after a group lunch at Crawdaddy's and I was pretty amazed as to what I missed the first time. Their selection of teas goes without saying. A wall of dozens of variations to choose from to please the pallet. Also, a smoothie menu that had me wanting one of each. My two major pulls from the visit were 1) they push Bodum products and that's awesome because Bodum is, hands down, my brand of choice for my coffee devices (I.e press, grinder, etc). 2) juices. I walked in and told the woman I had a sore throat that I wanted settled and she chose a juice that would best do that for me. Very friendly. Knowledgable. Great spot to meet friends, study, or conduct business. Gotta love that. Will definitely go by again. read more

Try the wave juice and the tree of life smoothie! The zucchini bread was so delicious and they give quite a large piece! Sure this place is a little pricey, but think of the quality you're getting in return. They offer local or organic options and they support local businesses. The interior has a fun hipster vibe with comfy booths for group studying or simply just relaxing with a nice cold, freshly made juice! They do not add sugar to any of the drinks, unless specified on the cool chalk board menu. The main sweetener that's added seems to be agave (based on the menu). The two items I recommend have no added sweeteners but they still taste sweet and refreshing! Outlets might be tricky if you plan on staying to study. The employees are very friendly. read more

If you're looking for hippie tea with names like "eternal love" or "happy day" while enjoying some college student's horrible interpretative artwork then this is the place for you. Silly overpriced "namaste" stuff for sale. You can also get healing pyramid rocks for $12. The tea was great and is steeped in a cool contraption. I really enjoyed it. I also got the Thai tea ice cream. Now, be warned, it's not ice cream. I'm not sure it's even legally allowed to be called ice cream since it's dairy free. I have had thai tea ice cream in the past and it is my absolute favorite. They use bananas as their base for this frozen confection so it really just tasted like bananas. The consistency was that of a cold flour tortilla. I asked the girl behind the counter if she has ever has real thai tea and she said no (she's a vegan, no judgement here). The thing is, you gotta know what you're copying before you try and make a vegan mimic of it. Just because it's orange doesn't mean you can call it Thai tea! It was overall quite disappointing. Tea is very good, would get it again. "Ice cream" is...well if you're against cows sharing their delicious moo moo juice with us then you might find some comfort if you imagine reallllllly hard that it's not a banana flavored tortilla. It's cute and it's nice they have healthy and tasty vegan options. But I'll never return to this place again. The first time I went it was just two of us. It took almost a half hour to get our ice creams. They were brought out one by one. The second time I invited a friend and her children. Everyone ordered ice creams and one fruit bowl. It took us TWO AND A HALF HOURS to get our full order. She brought out one thing at a time, one item every 30 mins. The kids went absolute nuts waiting for their order, watching one kid get an ice cream and having to wait another half hour for the next one. It was a nightmare. Kids were getting wild and impatient. And to add insult to injury, we told her my son was allergic to nuts so NO NUTS on his. Of course his was the last and it did have nuts on it. She wanted to just pick the nuts off but allergies don't work that way. So we had to wait ANOTHER half hour while she made another one. Worst experience ever. Not worth the time wasted. Cute place to take pictures outside. They need to hire way more staff. The staff was also rude about masks. Of course you have to remove them while eating. I stood up to grab a napkin and was yelled at as soon as I stood up to put my mask on. Ridiculous. read more

I love this place. It's great if you just need to pick something up or if you need to get some studying done they have tables and booths. My favorite drink is the apple spice matcha, it has matcha, ginger, and apple juice. Very refreshing and uplifting after a long day! The coconut chai tea is also fantastic. I like it hot as a latte. Discovered this place by accident. We were Casa de Yoga for a class and as we were leaving, my friend happened to look up and read the sign. We ventured in and I immediately fell in love with the place. Very cute and a very relaxed pace to hang out in. Lots of loose tea selections which they sell by the gram and they also have lots of juice, tea drinks and smoothie options as well. I have tried 3 different kinds of drink and so far everything has been good. Hemp Cacao- creamy with a light cacao taste. I can test the hemp for sure and it is very filling. Perfect drink after you've exerted all your effort at the yoga class across the street. Tippi Island- creamy but also had a string mango flavor. Refreshing Pecan Party- It's deff a pecan party in your mouth. Sweet and delicious. Last time I was there, I wanted to try their Protein Nutmilk but they ran out of it. so they deff need to work on the inventory. I also think they take too long to make the drinks. Love, love, love this place. They have an amazing variety of teas that you won't see pretty much anywhere else. We've kind of become addicted. You can buy loose tea to take home, get your tea made on the spot, sit in, or to-go. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable and they'll talk with you and let you smell any teas you want. The also have a variety of smoothies that sounds delicious, but I've not tried those yet. If you like tea, you'll have to stop here. On my trip I ordered a Thai Icecream which you can watch as they make it for you! There are a variety of flavors. I had Sweet Peaches,which was made with Thai Icecream, peaches, strawberry, coconut, Carmel, and Mocchi! It was perfect for my sweet tooth with out the guilt!
