Cool atmosphere. Small space inside, but nice picnic tables to sit outside. They had crossword puzzles and checkers. I tried the vanilla and rosemary, and I really liked it! I got it warm, but I think it would be nice cold. The drink was very creamy and smooth. It looks like they might have live music sometimes on the stage outside. Cute place. read more

My husband and I are from Seattle so it's a given that we love coffee! Every time we travel to a new state/city, we like discovering new and cool coffee shops, especially those that make their own syrups. This place makes all of their syrups except one. We had the Cafe de Olla, which is cinnamon-based, and the Honey and Lavender latte. My husband loved the H&L one, while I loved the Cafe de Olla one. The staff were also very chill and friendly. Their space is very cozy, so you can hang out there while listening to music. They have a selection of records that I'm assuming customers can peruse and request to listen to or even purchase. What an amazing gem! This was definitely the star of our morning in El Paso. The venue was full of delightful finds - old albums, photos, plants, trinkets. Just such a cool place. The baristas were super friendly and very engaging. The coffee was superb! The latte was hot, frothy, and delicious. I got a cafe de olla to go and it was just perfection. Just the perfect sweetness and a nice cinnamon spice. We didn't try any of their food options, but I think next time we will! read more

Nice place. Just wanted to leave a tip for the barista. You are using waaaay too much matcha powder to make the latte. You only need 0.5-1 teaspoon of powder for a 12oz drink. You're wasting money and making a terrible tasting drink. read more

Visiting family in El Paso, we saw this place in a search for coffee and had to try it out. Very cool little place with a peaceful atmosphere. Friendly and helpful service. We got two drinks: Iced Chuco Fog Latte: Rich and strong in flavor with a punch of honey that makes you want to drink more. Iced LA Jasmine Latte: Refreshing and bright. The tea is perfectly jasmine - not overly floral. I could drink two of these at a time. Definitely will be back next time we visit family! read more

Very cute coffee place - a bit difficult to find, it's behind a tattoo shop, and parking is weird (across the street); and you go in through fence to where a coffee truck and small stage. The atmosphere is lovely with picnic tables. Coffee is probably the best I've had in town, excellent flavor, some food options. It's definitely worth a stop in! read more

The first purchased coffee I can remember pouring down the drain. Read on! Fun outdoor patio that looks like hosts live music. Inside seemed to have locals hanging out - similar to a bar. The service is inattentive yet working hard - similar to what you'd expect at a hole in the wall biker bar. I got a cold brew (nitro cold brew was out) and my wife got a lavender latte. If the product was above average - the bad service would honestly be charming; however, it's just not good. My cold brew was sour and acidic - and the latte was overpoweringly sweet. They also only carry oat-milk. So when I asked for milk to balance the CB - I got oat-milk added without clarification. So - "wrong milk bad cold brew" in hand - I nicely left and threw it in the garbage at first opportunity. I am disappointed the execution made Cafe Con Leche's quirkiness annoying instead of interesting. read more

I FINALLY was able to stop at Cafe Con Leche after hearing all the wonderful things about this hidden gem! This little coffee shop was tucked away behind the corner of a record shop, but it was not hard to find. I absolutely love the dedication they put into each coffee they make. The barista informed us that all syrups and flavoring is made in house, and all lattes are made with Oat Milk. Their lattes are truly hand crafted! There is enough shade and plenty of room for customers to relax in the patio. The cool mist+iced latte definitely kept us cool in the 100+ degree weather!! My partner got the Cafe Olle and I grabbed the Vanilla and Rosemary. Subtle flavors without masking the taste of coffee. An amazing spot to chill with friends and grab coffee. For a specialty coffee shop, Café Con Leche spends incredible amount of effort on their flavored coffee items. Both the lavender honey and the love portion are outstanding! I went to cafe con leche on a Saturday morning around 10:00am. It wasn't busy yet and it was easy to park. I ordered a white chocolate saffron latte, which is easily the most unique latte I've had. It's hard to describe the flavor, but it was excellent. It wasn't overpoweringly sweet, but had a slight honey taste. Their drinks are very reasonably priced, especially when compared to prices at national chains. The coffee shop itself appears to be a small building in a courtyard with plenty of outdoor seating, so keep the weather in mind when you plan your visit. There was art and games to play as well. Overall just a really great coffee shop! read more

Honey-Lavendar-Coffee. Smooth in all the right places. This spot is slowly building out it's permanent location on the same property. For now, it's a quaint and comfortable gathering spot with great coffee, music, and a small artisanal collection of jewelry, vinyl records, and plants for sale. (Trust me, it's not like going to a nursery to browse. The selection has purpose and descriptions for your culinary pleasure.) They have pan dulce and a small selection of delicious food. Latte was smooth and had just the right amount of sweetness! The pan dulce was fresh and super soft! My husband ordered the matcha latte and really liked the flavor (he's super picky). Drinks are dairy free which is a huge bonus and I believe there is also a record store next door. Good amount of outdoor seating and it looks like they have performances/gigs maybe in the evening. Coffe is really good we had 3 different flavors, and they were all good. Only use oat milk which is a plus for me and my sister! Cafe Con Leche was established in 2018 and is nestled inside Ascension Artist Studios. We started with a mobile tricycle that roams the city and pops up at events, carrying our flagship Nitro Cold Brew! Our post pandemic business has shifted towards distribution and manufacturing of our canned Nitro infused beverages out of what we like to call our Cold Brew Lab!

Meet the Business Owner: Julio M.

Over 15 years of working, managing and training in various coffee shops across El Paso and California, Julio Mena found a passion in coffee. He was inspired in his travels across the globe as a percussionist on a cruise ship, visiting various coffee shops at every port. Inside theres couches, tables, bar tops, and lots of outlets if you want to get some work done. Outside is bright, open, and honestly super cute. They import their coffee beans straight from PR, so you know you're getting the real deal. Service was on the slower side, but hey... good things take time. I ordered an iced matcha, and it came in a little pouch! Such a fun concept and made drinking it so much fun. Overall, I loved the PR theme, the concept, the drinks, and even all the merch. So glad I got to check this place out.
