Place appeared clean. Wide selection of colors but the bottles looked old since the polishes were separating. The lady who did my pedi had a gentle touch throughout the pedi which was nice. However, her attention to detail was not great. My big toe and 2nd toe on my right foot were not polished that well as you could see in the pic (couldn't tell til I got home and inspected everything). There is also some bubbling on the big toe. She also didn't tell me that one of my nails was almost coming off on my left foot. Lastly she didn't shape my left pinky toe well. It was a straight across and the left corner was pointy vs slightly curved. I was quoted $30 for the Pedi over the phone but I guess they added $5 to remove the no chip? Not a big deal, just stating for info purposes. Unfortunately I won't be returning. read more

Be careful when you schedule online because sometimes they will change your appointment without letting you know. They confirm your appointment but at a different time. So you really have to make sure that you look at your messages. It happened to me when I showed up she told me I was rescheduled for a different time. I'm there. I have a very busy life and she did try to get me in on my timeframe. But she rushed the entire process. I asked for a design and she said she was too busy to do it and she wouldn't have time. I ended up going to another nail salon after this and the nail lady told me that my nails were really crooked and not even and it took a really long time for them to fix it so I was very unhappy with the customer service and then with the quality of my nails. However, I noticed the one doing my nails was in a rush and wasnt as through as I wanted the experience to be. She kept looking up and at the clock. As for the nails, it was nice at first. Then after a couple of days (5 days), it started to peel off. I'm assuming it's because of the rushed experience. I was here for the 1st time today. I usually just get a no chip but this time I wanted to get tips and my regular salon doesn't do them. The nails feel lumpy and they ended up larger that what I wanted. When the lady 1st cut them she said they would get shorter after filing them down which they didn't. My Daughter and I went to Tips and Toes on Sunday. We had a terrible experience here. We both had appointments for no chip manicures. There was 1 person who trimmed, filed the nails. She cut my daughters thumb nail crooked. When the other technician tried to even it out she cut it so short. It was so short that it was even with her skin - it was painful. My nails were still sharp even though the 2nd technician filed them again. Also, they pulled tools from a drawer - not from sterile packaging so it is unclear if they were clear. If I could give Tips & Toes 1/2 star I would! It was the most miserable experience I had. I went in for a regular mani/pedi (not no-chip). The owner did my nails with the color I chose, but shortly after leaving the spa the polish on my finger nails began to chip so I took it off completely. Once the polish was off my nails were stained with the color for a week. I tried taking it off twice more with nail polish remover but the stain was still there. The stain finally came off after washing my hands 10x per day for almost a week. After I took off nail polish from my fingers, I took off the polish on my toe nails and the same thing happened. After a week, my toe nails are still stained. I went back to the spa and told the owner she must have old products on her shelf for this to happen. She told me that "SOMETIMES THIS HAPPENS" and I have to buff it off. I NEVER had to buff off nail polish after using polish remover. The owner also refused to give me my money back. THIS IS A MISERABLE PLACE TO HAVE YOUR NAILS DONE AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT! read more

The prices listed online are not accurate, I came expecting to pay $80 and was charged $110. There was an additional $15 tacked on for nail design. What was my nail design? Pink French tips. No gems. Nothing. I don't understand how one color change is worth $15. I had an appointment but had to wait 30 minutes and was told later on that I came too late and should have come earlier. They didn't trim my cuticles either which I've come to realize is usually a money making tactic because then your nails look more grown out earlier and you have to come back in 2 weeks instead of 3 or 4. The acrylic was layered on THICK and not blended. Another thing that will make nails lay more grown out than they actually are. There are a lot of other salons in the immediate area that will get you the better results for less. I do my own nails at home so this was supposed to be a treat but I could have gotten better results myself. read more

I had an appointment and was told to come in at 10:30 am. When we arrived one of us had our nails done and then the other had our toes done. While someone else had to wait. My no chip was done in under 20 Mins and one of my nails had to be fixed after because the lady didn't let it dry. On the top of my nails you can see the white of my nails. By far the WORST SERVICE I've ever had at a nail salon, and that says quite a lot for how many times I've had my nails done! The male tech (not sure if he's the owner) made me feel belittled and embarrassed about the design I had done on my nails prior since I declined having a design done by him. And when it came time to my toenails, I let him know that I had ingrown toenails that were painful and he proceeded to tell me there wasn't anything there. I asked him if he could at least cut my toenails shorter and he said if he cut them down that I'll get ingrown toenails then. In other words, I'm going to have to cut my nails down when I get home because I didn't want to argue with him about cutting my nails down without getting a lecture!
