I consider myself an ice cream aficionado and this was just OK. While I'm sure the alcoholic ice cream flavors are delicious, I tried the s'mores flavor and it was towards the end of the bucket and tasted a little old and "icy". My colleague tried the pistachio and he said it was good but not great. The service was good and it was a beautiful day so we sat outside which was a nice perk to be able to sit outside of the ice cream shop.
This is a fun date spot! Instead of the usual beer/cider flight places why not opt for a boozy ice cream flight! You can choose 4 flavors for 8.50. Rum raisin was delicious with a nice kick to it. They also have non-alcoholic flavors to choose from.
I am not a sweets girl but needed a pick me up and was around the Bonita area. I read the reviews and the menu for this location and decided to try it out. The location is super ideal, right off of 41, and there is plenty of parking, which I love. The staff was very welcoming and walked me through all the flavors, they make their ice cream in-house, which is super impressive. I tried the pecan butterscotch, I was scared I that there was going to be a strong scotch flavor but there wasn't and it was delicious! The ice cream is very creamy and rich but the flavors are amazing. The staff also added to the experience as they are super passionate about the ice cream!
I ventured out to the Tipsy Udder in Bonita Springs upon seeing the very high ratings, and they are well deserved. I don't look for anything artisanal or exotic flavors for an ice cream shop to be great. The Tipsy Udder checked off all my boxes for a rich and creamy texture ice cream using high quality ingredients. I went with a small size of the toasted coconut ice cream. I can't rave enough about it as it hit all the right flavor notes with perfect coconut consistency mixed in with the base ice cream. While not exactly cheap at over $5, the portions are generous, and more importantly, the ice cream tasted great and didn't melt quickly like some cheaply produced ice cream does. If the shop was located in a touristy area rather than a non-descript strip mall, I can see them regularly having a line out the door of people looking to indulge in their sweet treats. They do have liquor infused flavors ice cream as well, but can't vouch for those as I only tried the toasted coconut. A weak point was the service as it wasn't particularly engaging or friendly, but still warrants a 5-star overall rating as I really enjoyed their ice cream and felt it was of top notch quality for my ice cream tastes and standards.
Ice cream was ok, waffle cones were awful. They kept breaking so we were given cups- which was totally fine but nothing beats a good waffle cone.. My boyfriend got the s'mores ice cream & I got the chocolate & peanut butter. Friendly staff & neat location, but the ice cream & waffle cones didn't do it for me.
I know this place has fancy alcohol ice cream but the regular flavors are so good! I got s'mores and honey vanilla, but they have a butterfinger special right now that sounds awesome. They also have alcohol-free sorbet that is so nice on a hot day.
I've never heard of this place before and decided to try it after watching a movie. One person was working the counter on a quiet afternoon. Decor was a little whimsical...ice cream was good such as the cookies and cream but price was a bit expensive. We were the only ones there at first but only one person was working and the wait was long, should've had at least 2 people working.
This place is really amazing. They have ice cream for any age group and when I say ANY age, I mean it!! They have alcohol infused ice cream that is absolutely delicious!! They have really nice seating inside and outside. And if there is a chance you can't decide, they have "The Flight" which includes 4 different flavors!
Very clean place with excellent service and homemade ice cream. Most people would probably give it a 5, but while the chocolate chip ice cream was good, it wasn't memorable enough for a 5. But there is a bigger reason for the 4 opposed to a 5. It has to do with boring people. I'd like to think I'm not boring in life, but I do know that I'm a pretty boring eater. Boring eaters want vanilla ice cream. This is the first time I have ever been to an ice cream shop and they didn't serve vanilla ice cream. I tasted the honey vanilla, but it was very honeyish. I don't like honeyish whether it's a phony endearment or ice cream. Cool place, just sayin'.
Checking out this icecream place when we were in Bonita Springs. The staff was friendly to introduce us their menu and gave us samples. After a few samples, we made the decision. I had the adult flavor oreo creme de menthe and my boyfriend had the adult flavor amaretto cherry fudge. They have a good selection of flavors both for the gourmet and adult. Even though we cannot taste the alcohol, the icecream was good and with lots of goodies (oreo in mine). Because of the alcohol in icecream, it tends to melt a bit faster than regular icecream. It was not a problem for us since we love icecream and slurp really quick. Next time we come, we would like try the gourmet menu.
Everything about this ice cream shop deserves a perfect rating; my experience was close to perfect. Surprisingly, I never heard of this desert place before and it's easy to miss! Located in a large plaza, only a small sign with the words "ice cream" can be seen from a distance. Upon walking in, the interior is brightly lit and decorated with pastel colors, just like a classic ice cream store. Unfortunately, you can't see the ice cream because they keep the lids on the buckets, but this is more sanitary in my opinion. However, there's a huge menu on the wall separated by traditional and alcohol-infused flavors. Although we walked in pretty late, the service was spectacular. The workers gladly gave us as many samples as we requested and briefly described the components in each flavor. Their positive attitude made me feel comfortable to ask more questions, and they joked around with us too. As for the ice cream, the quality is great and the flavor range is expansive. I was most impressed by the ingredients they use; their coffee flavor is made with locally grown coffee beans. The alcohol-infused flavors had slight hints of liquor, not too much, but still present! It was so hard to decide on one flavor, especially after sampling a few! I went in with a party of about ten, and everyone had no complaints about their order. Also, we were sitting in the shop for quite some time and our cones were still intact, which is good for children that may take more time to eat. A small cone is slightly over $3, but totally worth for the service and quality. I would come here again and again if it was more convenient. If you would like to support a local business that does the job perfectly, I would highly encourage you to try Tipsy Cow. I was doubtful to see that it had five stars before trying, but now I totally understand and fully support the rave about this ice cream shop!
My family of 4 stopped in on our way home from the beach and couldn't be happier that we did. This place checks so many boxes. Creative flavors, super friendly staff, homemade product without artificial additives/chemicals, convenient hours, warm clean atmosphere, table games and they even have a bathroom for patrons. I had a mixed cup with 2 scoops, the kids had single flavors and my wife tried the adult ice cream. They were all really good with all flavors on point. The portions were normal-sized to me where a small felt like a small and the prices were commensurate with the size. So many times I find myself having to order a kiddie cup to get a normal snack-sized portion. If you're looking for that super creamy slow churned ice cream that doesn't melt because it's not actually ice cream and mostly gums/thickeners, this isn't for you. This is real ice cream, so you might occasionally get an ice chip but I'd rather have that than a bowl of gum and seaweed byproducts just to make it seem creamier. Looking for an ice cream place that was open past 7 PM and this is open until 10 PM so we went! What they specialize in is alcohol flavored ice cream I don't drink alcohol so I didn't order anything like that so I can't talk about that. But I was happy that they had one dairy free flavor, which was strawberry coconut and it was so amazing! My husband got just vanilla and he said it was really good ice cream! It was a very busy weekday night, but I think because we went during the winter break when everyone is out of school and it was very busy so it took a long to get our ice cream, but the service was great! They also have like board games and stuff so me and my husband had our little date night with ice cream and playing Connect four! If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely come back! read more

Went there last night and really enjoyed the ice cream. They have some very cool decorations around the store too!! Some pretty funny ones I gotta say. They also have ice cream that is infused with alcohol which if you like that you should stop by here. If you get a flavor you did not try do not eat the cracker first when you get your ice cream I found that the first few bites of the ice cream just tastes like the cracker read more

If you give this place a bad review, you're lying. Hands down, you're lying and nothing in this world will make you happy. The flavor of our ice cream was "UDDERLY" amazing and left us wanting "MOOOOOOOOOre"..... Ok, that's enough puns, but in all seriousness, we would come back again in a heartbeat. The ice cream was full of flavor, the service was friendly and knowledgeable. The shop was cute and left us chuckling with all the little quotes around on the windows and walls. Stopped after dinner for some ice cream. Service was attentive and explained the options well. They let us try some samples as well which was thoughtful. I got the boom chocolatta cone which was a very taste flavor if you like chocolate. The ice cream does melt quick so I recommend a bowl, my small cone melted rather quickly on me LOL. read more
Great ice cream!! I love that they make their ice cream right there and experiment with flavors. We had a scoop of the peppermint chocolate chip and a scoop of the chocolate peanut butter.. YUMMMMM. . The owner came out and spoke with us about their flavors and how they change and try new ones. They have a "create your own flavor" contest where you enter your ice cream flavor idea and if it is chosen you win ice cream for a month. . What a great contest... They have a wonderful selection of "grown-up" ice creams that have actual liquors in them. I tasted several and they were all incredible. Try the creamsicle.... oh my... it's good. read more

Not many people there when we came in, but rest of experience was amazing! Owner was nice and told us they use no artificial flavors or dyes (awesome!) My scoop of Cookie Monster was amazing and my friend's scoop of Grumpy's Coffee ice cream was delicious too. I love that they create their own flavors! It is a bit of a commute from Bonita Beach's "Sweet Melissa's Shop," (which clearly uses dye in some of their ice cream), but worth it :) read more

Really cute place and unique flavors. I had the alcohol infused Oreo mint ice cream and the honey vanilla. Both really yummy - I didn't taste the alcohol very much though and didn't really feel any affects with it however my friends said they felt it so maybe it's just me? We'll be back if we're in the area. :) read more

Tried the pecan buttershot and it was delicious!! I wanted more when I was done. Pricey but worth it and I don't say that often. Pretty sweet and couldn't barely taste the liquor. Wish I lived in the area - I'd be visiting all the time! read more
