SERVICE!!!! Took my car in for basic warranty work, was told it would be two days. Now I'm going onto week 2 waiting. Along with this they cut my cats off WITHOUT asking and wanted $1000 to replace them. No one answers the phone anymore and when they finally do you are automatically put on hold again for 5+minutes, just to never get a straight answer out of them. What a great dealership. You can tell the manager does a really good job hiring and training his employees because the sales person we had the previous to deal with was absolutely awesome! My son and I wanted a new Raptor and this Simone of the few dealerships in the Inited States that does not "RIP YOU OFF" and add $5000 on top of the Raptor's MSRP. The truth is we found several dealerships between here and California that will also sell their Raptor's at MSRP but the sales guy we met over the phone was what I call first class. I don't want to use his first name because I don't want to violate any of Yelp's guidelines so let's just say his name could also be your favorite type of pasta dish. LOL On top of that we were created by two different super nice people just walking in the door and then we met the general manager. After we kind of met everyone we then really got to see what a great dealership this is. I can't say enough about how awesome we were treated, at first I really was regretting flying from California all the way out to the middle of Texas but at the end of the day I'm very thankful that we did. Not only did we get a great truck but we got it at a great price and the way we were treated the staff at this particular dealership reminded me of how it used to be back in the day when you went in to buy a car. Keep in mind that we bought another matching Raptor just two weeks ago from a dealership back home in California. We paid more and the service was completely different. I purchased a used 2023 Ford Expedition on 02/21/2025. The experience of purchasing the vehicle was an awful one due to the finance person acting like she didn't have the time of day to deal with us. This should have been my first red flag. We went through with the sale. After signing papers and getting the vehicle home, we noticed the puddle light on the driver side did not work. Now I just paid a good chunk of money to buy this car - so for something not to work on it was to say the least disappointing. I reached out to my salesman on the following Tuesday 02/24/2025 about the puddle light not working and never got a response. Second red flag. My husband called last week to schedule an appointment for the car to be looked at because it appeared that grille shutter was not closing properly. We dropped it off last night. They called this morning to tell us it would be $2800 to fix the puddle light and the grille shutter. The service manager told me that he was saying that we broke these things, but that he could see a dent in my grill and the code hadn't been thrown till 3/3/2025. He stated that I could have had a small pebble fly up in there and I wouldn't have even known it had happened. (Now, would you want a $70K vehicle that a pebble could break?!) He also stated that the puddle light was "shoved up in the light" and he highly doubted they missed that on their review of the car. I explained that we had a paper stating that we had a warranty that should cover 100% of the damages. Again, I've had this car as of today, for 17 days. He said he didn't know what I was talking about. I texted him a photo of the paper. He stated that was the buyers guide, with the limited warranty info, the car has the remainder of the powertrain warranty, the bumper to bumper warranty is only 3 yrs 36k from warranty start date. I have responded that these issues were not caused by us, and should not be our responsibility to pay for. Obviously, our business is not important to them. We will not use them for anything, service or sales, ever again, and will make sure to tell anyone and everyone about this atrocious experience we have had. read more

Rainy Saturday morning. Running errands and my check engine light turns on. We have an F350 DRW. Pull into the shop, does not look busy at all, service guys were milling around the office (no customers inside). Asked if I needed help. I explained my situation, could they look at it and tell me what is wrong. "Nope. Too busy. Schedule it to come in next week in two or three days." I have a Premium Service package through FORD. I have owned three Super Duty trucks since 2018. No, I did not buy them in Nacogdoches as we don't live there full time. This will not be my only review. Why not say something like, we are pretty busy right now, but if you can wait a short time, we can at least plug it in and see what is wrong and go from there. Typically never had a problem with their customer service or making an appointment over the phone but my last two appointments were over the course of the last 3 months have gone way down hill. First it started with getting new tires, as I'm making my appointment he says they would have to order the set I said no problem I can make it a few days out. Come appointment time I go to drop my car off and they inform me they had no tires for my car and the man misquoted me also. So I brush it off and let them do their work. Now the most recent appointment I had my check engine light flashing and called while it was flashing to see if I could get the code read, was told they're closing soon and can't so I made an appointment for the soonest available. Come that appointment day they look at me like I'm crazy saying I don't have an appointment and try to send me away and ignore me. After saying what happened they still didn't believe me but took the car anyways. Called hours later saying it needed a grocery list of parts trying to pressure me to spend well over 1000. Let me first say that I normally refer to car "Dealerships" as "Stealerships". I am in the military and have been stationed throughout the U.S. and I have to say the service department at Tipton Ford is best that I have ever experienced. Their customer service, no BS approach, willingness to explore options with customers is absolutely second to none. Tipton Ford is the ONLY place I take my Taurus and F250 to be serviced. The staff is always friendly and helpful, my service is completely quickly, and my vehicles returned to me clean. They have multiple comfortable areas for my use if I choose to wait for my car, and a shuttle service if I need it. My son purchased a Jeep Wrangler with the Blue Certified Pre-Owned Warranty" that has a leaky hardtop. Never mind they were asked if it leaked before it was bought. Was told to take it back in to be fixed. When it was picked up it was still wet. Pam at the body shop said it was because they don't clean them up. I have worked in Sales and Service on Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Chevrolet, Cadillac, and most recently Audi's. Never heard a customer told we don't clean up water. She was asked how do they water test it to see if it was still leaking after the repair was made, if you don't clean it up after a repair. Very strange. Doesn't make much sense to me. Needless to say it was still leaking. Fast forward....Tipton Ford agrees to REALLY fix it this time. A rental car was supposed to be set up so the repair could be completed properly. Said would be contacted. Having been reaching out since Monday, it's THURSDAY. Can't get a return call or TEXT. ZERO communication. Actually, worse than zero. Zero would be no communication, but what they've done is just tell you what they will do then don't call you back and don't schedule it. Salesman stopped answering the phone. Manager said had to talk to the salesman. Service department said "You DID buy a Jeep from a Ford dealership ". Complete lack of service after the sale. No respect for people's time as they try to get a repair done on a vehicle they just bought. Service after the sale tells you everything you need to know about a dealership. This is a much different place than many remember including myself. A Sales Manager would've NEVER turned an upset customer that was getting the run around back to the salesperson when Margie Tipton was still around, I promise you. I'm so confused because when they were selling him the Jeep with a "Blue Certified Pre-Owned Warranty" they acted like that meant something. They clearly don't stand by what they are selling you if that's how they talk about a vehicle less than a month after it's sold. read more

Where to begin? I was in a fender-bender back in January. Not a bad one and everyone was okay, but the other driver was at fault and I ended up looking for a repair shop here in Nac. This is the best one in town, right? That's what all the commercials say anyway. The insurance company backed their work so I figured I had nothing to lose. I take my car in and they tell me it will be three weeks before they can get the parts because one had to be a special order. It was a purely cosmetic part. This was a little aggravating but I understood so I just told them to do what they had to. After two weeks I called to see if there were any updates. They said the only thing holding up the order was that one part and they said they would call me when it came in. On the third week I get a call asking when I was going to pick out the part they would have to custom order. This entire time they had told me the part was on the way even after I called them for an update. Apparently their parts department and repair shop did not communicate about the issue. I go in and pick out the part only to be told it will be another week. Again, aggravating but I could not do anything about it. They already had the parts and going anywhere else could take another month. It was a Thursday when this happened and I was told the part would be in by next Wednesday or Friday at the latest. Thursday of next week comes around and I get a call that the dealer did not have the part and they would have to make a new one. Now, if the dealer originally said they had it and found out later they did not, I'm certain they would have contacted them soon than the day it was supposed to arrive so now I am thinking Tipton is lying to me about ordering parts again. They tell me it will be another three weeks before they get it. Anyway, as of writing this I still don't have my car fixed. I will update how this three month project looks once I see it. My advice is to save your time and money. Go somewhere else. ***Update*** I just dropped my car off. On top of everything else they don't even provide a rental car as they said they would. read more
