    Court House Collision Center

Over the years, my family and I have used various body shops. Obviously, some are better than…read moreothers, but I have to say that Court House Collision Center is excellent. The recent experience I had with them was hassle free. I first shopped around and found that their estimate was one of the best ones. Then when I asked how soon they could get my vehicle back to me they gave me the shortest amount of time of any of the shops I visited. The owner does most of the work, so takes great pride in his workmanship. The office manager is his wife who was extremely helpful and nice. There is a real personal touch. When I went to pick up my car I found that they had washed it and had it shining like new. I couldn't believe how nice it looked. The repair work was flawless. I have to say that I was extremely happy with my experience, and my car looks perfect. Getting your car repaired can be an upsetting time, but they made it as painless as possible. I highly recommend this body shop.

This place is the auto repair shop everyone hopes to find. Thus far the owner, Greg, has done all the work on my vehicles. He is exceptionally competent, capable, and honest. He has properly diagnosed multiple issues for two different vehicles and correctly fixed each issue for a very reasonable price. Once he properly diagnosed a no start problem with my Ford Focus and advised me to take it to a Ford dealership where they would likely fix the issue (needed a new transmission control module) for free. GM Truck & Auto Service has also properly diagnosed and serviced my Ford E450 issues including hydraulic repairs.

Yeah, I guess I should, lol. This father/son machine and auto repair shop rocks it in the quiet of Hickory Lane Corner just outside of town. Father Vaughn is just as gracious and accommodating as his Son Greg(ory). So gracious that Greg let me call him George for over a year before I realized his name is Greg! Bottom line, Greg has resolved so many large and small issues with my classic Volvo V90 wagon that he is now responsible for keeping it on the road. And if anything requires serious modification, it's a full machine shop. The fact that this is GM country didn't handicap Greg at all in recognizing the issues with this European car. When my radiator fluid was continually disappearing, instead of telling me that I needed to replace a costly part, Greg applied the pressure test and diagnosed that the clamps on three hose connections had simply expanded with time and tightened up those clamps in a matter of minutes, saving me plenty of money just if I had been told I needed to replace the hoses. I wouldn't have known the difference, because I don't know a ball joint from a bearing. When my steering rack went bad and Volvo discontinued the part, Greg took the used salvage one that I found online and replaced it pronto. He has now replaced front and rear shocks and brake pads in such short time that I wondered if he could have done it correctly. But, the car drives just fine. He also took time to help me remove my driver's door interior panel so we could replace the broken door latch. Next he's going to help me lift that door off its hinges so we can replace the hinge with a broken spring. Little things like that don't make him much money, but they mean a whole lot to a driver. OH, lol, when I erroneously thought there was an interior cabin filter which needed to be changed and took off an interior cover panel to find the filter, Greg ended my multi day hunt for it when assessing that there couldn't be an interior cabin filter because there was no place for it. But, in the process a tremendous rattle began in the HVAC system. Yes, we took several things apart looking for it, but Greg eventually discovered that a plastic parts bag sitting on the front floor board had been inadvertently sucked up into the air flow system and was trapped inside an echo chamber. A plastic bag making enough noise to make you think the car was going to explode! Thank you again, Greg. Since Greg kindly informed me that my rubber brake lines were cracking; which is a deadly safety hazard, new brake lines and control arm bushings are en route for him to install before I have an alignment to compensate for my new Winter tires having just been installed. I'm truly fortunate that Greg and Vaugh are in the neighborhood, and I hope they prosper even if I do have to wait my turn in the future...
