information in computer for my vehicle which is a 2021 and has been serviced at this location numerous times was entered as my 2017, so all information for my Carfax records are incorrect. Tires were rotated, but tire pressure was not checked. Front had 29 psi and rear were at 30 psi. Also no sticker was placed on windshield denoting the next service. Old sticker left on. This is the second time I have had an issue with technicians doing their job. hopefully they actually did an oil change. I purchased new tires on for this vehicle at this location so that is why I'm doing my oil changes and tire there on a 5000 mile. I may just have to start doing only my tire rotations and staying there to make sure that it's done and do my oil changes elsewhere. read more

I am shocked! My wife took her car here because the brakes were squeaking and we were thinking it's time to replace the pads. Tire discounters told her after inspection that the pads were fine and the brakes just needed to be cleaned and greased. I thought great, until they told her the price, $330 dollars to grease brakes. So I asked about their hourly rate apparently the hourly rate is over 180 dollars. These employees do not make enough if this is what the hourly rate is! Just to be sure I wasn't missing anything I asked the employee what the cost of having new pads purchased and installed on a different vehicle $275 is what I am told. With this logic, why am I paying more for no hardware? I have done brakes before and charging customers $330 for no actual pads replaced and 1.2 hours of work has me shocked. If this is the way that business is conducted here I will never be back and I caution everyone else, unless you are purchasing tires stay far away from this establishment. Also to the employees of tire discounters, I know I said this before but I will say it again, you need to unionize, if you are not making over $90/hour your employer is cheating you. Everything is fine but communication was lacking. i asked to be called on my phone instead of my wife's and they called her anyway. Let her know the car was ready but didn't communicate what was actually wrong with it or what the cost was going to be. Receipt has a checklist of things they were supposed to visua inspect, got home and noticed a tail light was out. Lights are one of those things on the checklist. I purchased my tires at this location. I decided after driving to California and back I would get my tires rotated at this location while I was home. Like a responsible adult, I called Thursday to make an appointment. The individual on the phone said the next available appointment would be Tuesday at 10:00am. Tuesday morning I arrived at 9:35am for my appointment. When I arrive, Alex is working the desk. I inform him I'm here to get a tire rotation, he quickly informs me I'm going to wait all day. I tell him I made an appointment for 10:00am. He says well you're still going to have to wait 1.5-2 hours to attempt to deter me from staying for my free of charge rotation which is in included with my previous tire purchase. I say the wait is fine. I also ask for a brake inspection which they clearly advertise is free as well. He questions my reasoning for the brake inspection (again deterring my want for the service) I say there hasn't been any issues with my brakes but I would like them inspected since I drive across the country frequently. I asked if this was an issue, he says no with disdain. I leave my keys and head to Waffle House next door to kill some time. After 45 minutes I walk back to the shop noticing my car hasn't moved since I dropped it off which is fine since he told me how long the wait would be. As I sit in a waiting area with 7 males and 2 females, I quickly notice each of the males in the waiting area has been updated on the progress of their vehicles multiple times and reassured they're working as quickly as they can to get their cars finished. (Add in at least 5 or 6 pats on the back and kissing ass throughout this time). 11:00am rolls around and my car is still in the parking lot without one update or reassurance. I ask Alex if he's aware of what time I dropped my car off and he looks shocked as if I asked a mind boggling question, I inform him I'm asking so the 2 hour mark doesn't arrive and he panics and says they need more time because they have been busy kissing every man's ass in the waiting room so none of them get upset with their seemingly long wait time while my car continues to sit in the parking lot untouched. At 11:40am, Alex informs me "the reason for the delay is your lug nuts have swollen over time etc." Well if you would have taken my car back within the 2 hours I've been here, you would've fixed this problem sooner. There is no point to have an appointment system if it is not utilized correctly. Also don't offer this "free" service if you're going to put those appointments last on the list. Of course everyone that was here while I've been waiting has gone home with their completed service. It's been 2 hours and 40 minutes now and I'm going to post my review because who knows if I'll ever get my car back... read more

do not go if you don't have a new vehicle. I had a 2000 s10 that I took in for an alignment, they didn't have a problem taking my money without mentioning my bad wheel bearing. figured it out myself and after replacing and taking it back within a week they suddenly wouldn't do the free alignment included with my initial purchase and tried to get me to pay them to replace everything in the front suspension(half of which I had just replaced). I was supposed to have one year of alignments so I went ahead and replaced the parts that were worn out myself and took it back. once I finally got them to actually do the alignment, they said that they could only do camber and toe but not caster because it "wasn't adjustable". if you're wondering yes it is adjustable on these trucks but a lot of shady dishonest shops won't do caster on older vehicles because it takes them a little bit extra time and they don't like spending time on older vehicles despite paying the same amount anyone else would, I payed a high price for them to make my alignment worse than it started, resulting in my front tires being completely worn out in 2 months when they had at least another year. read more

A couple recent encounters mandate that I write a review about Tire Discounters on ST RT 665 in Grove City, OH. I contacted their corporate office to give them an opportunity to provide some customer service/satisfaction before posting the review. After the first reach out to their corporate office I did get a call from the store in question but nobody left a message or called back. A week later I contacted the corporate office again but have heard nothing which prompted writing of this review. The first negative encounter involved my wife's car. This is the 3rd (and last) set of tires she bought from this place. They installed a tire to replace one with a sidewall puncture but it didn't match the others. When I contacted them, they offered to put 3 more matching tires on north of $800. This is for a Honda Civic. The manufacturer was running a promotion but only with a full set of 4. UGH!!! I did find more competitive pricing elsewhere. Next was on my car. I went for an oil change based on the reasonably priced one I got a while back with a tire purchase. At that time they said they would honor that price going forward. Shame on me, I believed them. Turns out the oil change and 2 wipers were $115.86. When I called the manager Chuck the following week he he gave me some BS double talk about market price and discounts that were applied. I was charged $59.99 for the TD Oil change plus an additional $45 for the oil, $9.99 for the filter and $30 for the labor. A $25 discount was applied. Wow Thanks. To top it off and the straw that broke the camels back was the wipers. A week after the service I drove in the rain and they streaked terribly. I decided to stop in and explain the situation. The manager Chuck said he saw what the problem was and agreed to replace the wipers at no charge. The wipers that he took off are not the brand they sell. It turns out that the new wipers I purchased for $37.98 were not installed at all. The invoice said that they were installed by 15612 and in fact verified by 3433. Please reconsider before you patronize this business. If you do, be prepared to get ripped off. read more

I just walked into this T. D. in Grove City and have been called Dear twice now. I guarantee that my husband isn't referred to in this way. Also I was asked to enter a review on the Tire Discounters website while I was still in the store. Alex offered to submit my response for after I typed my review that only mentioned how quick and convenient the service was at the T.D. In Grove City. But this is the review that showed up under my name: "WOW these guys are Quick and convenient. I came in with a screw in my tire and left with a smile on my face. Alex is a wonderful young man who made this one of the best if not the best experiences I've ever had in a tire shop. Not only will I recommend these guys to my friends and family but will certainly come back for all of my tire needs. five stars! In every since!!!!!" Not very detailed. Went in to half a rotation and oil change done. When I went to pick it up I realized from characteristics of my wheels that they hadn't moved locations. When I inquired about it, I was told the tech "forgot to do it." I thought to myself that was half the job of what I'm paying them for? Did they forget to put new oil in it too? When they took it back a 2nd time, the clerk tried to sell me a lift kit for my jeep. Why would I trust them with something like that? They need to just stick to tires. read more

April 2015 I recently returned to Tire Discounters because my brakes were squealing. They honored my certificate for a second free alignment. Again they gave me a great price on the necessary brake work. I had the bolts replaced while the car was there and they called to tell me that while they were replacing one of the bolts something fell off the wheel. They said it was a good thing it happened while int he shop because if that had happened on the street I could have had a major accident. But because it happened in the shop they replaced that bolt and that part completely for free. This is definitely going to be my go to place for tires and brakes in the future. Will recommend them to everyone. ************************ 2/12/15 I didn't realize there was a Tire Discounters in GC so I had an appointment at Georgesville. Big snow storm hit today and I didn't want to drive that far with bald tires so I googled and found this GC location. Spoke to Chris on the phone at the GC location, and he gave me a great price on a new set of tires. He even honored the discount given by the georgesville location (because they were so backed up). They called to say some bolts had gone bad but it wasn't dire that i fix them. They didn't have the part in stock so they gave me my free alignment today and gave me a certificate to receive a second free alignment if I came back to have the bolts installed. It did take quite some time but considering we got at least 6 inches of snow last night and they were backed up, they did great. Will return and send others to them. read more

Stopped there the other day with my Chevy pickup, it's been making noise when I drive it, that gets worse the faster i go, figured i had a wheel bearing going bad..made an appointment for the the next day. Took it in and they called me and said they checked and the bearings were fine. They thought my tires were bad even though they only had 35,000 miles on them. Had them put a new set of Goodyears on for me....now my truck rides as smooth as can be, with no noise. They're quick to take your money if you buy tires, but if you need service after the sale such as tire rotation, oil changes etc, even with an appointment, they seem to delay your service if a person comes in to get tires while you're waiting. I came in to have 4 tires replaced and to have an alignment done but I did receive. Robert and young gentleman at the time assisted and provided exceptional service and were very courteous. However, at the time of purchasing select 4 tires were on promotion offered by the manufacturer of those tires which two gentlemen explained to me I would receive. They explained how/where to redeem my mail-in rebate. Once I completed my mail-in rebate and I wait at least 6 weeks(I checked on my status once a week,) I realized I was not receiving an answer from the manufacture so I decided to call them to find out the update on my mail-in rebate. Customer rep notifies me that my vehicle invoice was stated under a business and mail-in rebate are not honored if it is for a business. Even though Robert and gentleman were going out of their way to assist me, they failed to notify me about mail-in rebate restrictions nor did I know of those restrictions. I wanted to thank you Robert and young gentleman that assisted me and took care of my vehicle but I under the assumption I will be receiving $40 mail-in rebate which I failed to receive. read more

Husband took truck in for new rims and tires. Dropped the truck off the evening prior and gave them the entire next day to do the work promised. Went to pickup truck and they did not put the new rims on...just the tires. Honest mistake...they offered to work late and correct the issue. We told them it wasn't a problem and left it another day. Went to pick it up the next day...still not done, truck was in the bay said it would be done before they left. Husband said he'd come back after they closed to pick it up and went ahead and paid them. We needed the truck back that night. Went to pick it up and they locked it in the bay. I had one tire that was flat, I had road hazard so it was covered, I dropped my car off early on a Saturday morning to be fixed. I got it back the following Tuesday, yeah 3 business days for one flat tire. They get busy, I understand, but what takes the cake is my tire has now gone flat again. In response to tire discounters. I sent information and called numerous times. I was left on hold for an hour yesterday.

I came in to see about replacing 4 tires and for an alignment. The price I was quoted for their 4 cheapest tires was horrendous! Much more than what I would have expected to pay elsewhere, at least! For that price, I should have had top of the line tires with brand new rims! But I need an alignment, so I went with it. On the plus side, they weren't busy, my wait was shorter than usual, and they were able to get me in and out the door in just over an hour and a half. One guy was even nice enough to make me a cup of coffee. On the negative side, my tire was flat a day later, after just sitting on my driveway. It took my lady and I an hour and a half, maybe more, to get the spare on, and and she was crying the whole time. I'm disabled from a fire dept injury, she's disabled as well, and she was crying the whole time, not only because of her own pain, but because she hated seeing me in pain while working to get the tire on. 7 hours later I am still lying here in pain because of this. Of course, to add to the frustration, today is Sunday, and they aren't open to remedy this issue. I'm leaving two stars only because of the excellent customer service and speediness while I was in the shop, but I feel the pricing was a fail, and very especially a flat tire after driving only 4 miles on it after the install! We we're going to go across to Pennsylvania today, but now I'm stuck at home and in pain. Will leave another review after tomorrow's visit - we'll see how that goes. read more

I came here to purchase 4 new tires. I was told it would be an hour of work. An hour into it, the staff informed me that they didn't have enough tires and had to send someone out to get what they needed. They also said it would be about 15 more minutes. THEN I waited almost another hour and they said it would be another 30 minutes before the tire was here. I'm still sitting here waiting. This is BEYOND frustrating. I should have been told up front that they didn't have enough tires in stock. I wouldn't have chose to spend my whole morning sitting here. I would have left and came back. I will not be returning here at this point. This is beyond terrible. Especially when every person that was waiting after you has now cleared the waiting room, yet I'm still sitting here. I scheduled and got a quote online. When I went in they only had two of my four tires. The manager was very apologetic. I rescheduled. I went back in. The manager was very nice. It took about 2 hours, but the total price was actually $10 under my online quote. They said my brakes were fine. They didn't try to over sell me. My family has taken five vehicles to this location on several occasions for oil changes, new tires, and other services. They usually stay pretty busy, so it helps to have an appointment, but that just shows how popular they are with customers. They have put air in our tires free of charge many times and have repaired slow leaks for free as well. When my step-daughter needed a replacement tire for a flat but couldn't afford it until her next paycheck, they searched their facility and found a decent used tire and put it on her car for free. I trust this place, which is something that I can't say for many car service shops. read more

Consumer beware! I had an alignment done on my vehicle at this location on 5-30-14 and they scratched the entire drivers side of my car....almost $3000 in damage! They accepted responsibility at first but then changed their mind. I have been fighting with this company for almost 3 months. If you decide to get work done here, make sure you check your car because if they damage it they will not own up to what they have done!!!!! TireDiscounters actively tried to defraud me, charging $1,299.14 for a brake job I did not need, keeping my vehicle for 40 days, doing a bearing repair job that broke my ABS and now my car squeaks non stop. Misdiagnosis of the issue I brought it in for (front end noise), lies about needing a full brake job ("it's the brine they put on the roads for winter"), horrible quality of work (emergency brake lever still disconnected, ABS sensor fell off, 40 days waiting for a part I could have gotten in 3 days). These people lie cheat and steal. They did not even contest my VISA complaint when I refused to pay. YELP has twice deemed my review to be not recommended; why not? read more

I had a leaky seal on a brake caliper that Tire Discounters installed a few months ago. I brought it in, they looked at it and even though the issue was because of a faulty seal due to a manufacturing defect they still took full responsibility for it. They ordered the part, installed it and I was on my way in no time. A couple of things to take away from this situation, 1. They didn't try to 'up-sell' me on any other repairs while the car was there. To me this says they are honest and are truly concerned with helping me out as opposed to making extra money off me. 2. They kept me informed the whole time. I find that most of the time you have to call to check up on your car while in the shop. But not with TD. Not at this store or the one off Bethel which is just as good. 3. The waiting area was super clean. This sends the message that they take pride in what they do. Not many shops keep a waiting room as clean as they do so I thought I would mention it. Overall great experience. Mike was great, Courtney was great, the overall experience was exceptional.
