I knew exactly what I wanted. Find the leak. Plug the leak. Send me out the door. Simple right? NOPE. They didn't even try. No tire dunking in the leak tank. No bubbletest. Just straight to the urgency and fear strategy to sell a couple of tires. We refused and instead bought a floor jack, went home and my way-more-capable than the tech, wife, proceeded to find the leak and plug it our DAMN selves. read more

Update and further downgrade to negative stats. The tire is actually not repairable based on where the nail was in the tire so this should have been handled thru the road hazard warranty. That was the waste of a day since they do not open on Sunday. I am beyond furious: I am downgrading my review to a 0 star. Not only did the below transpire but the reason I went in to the shop in the first place will now cost me additional money because they're closed tomorrow! I explained that there was a nail in the tire and that I used fix a flat to get to the shop. I asked them to plug the hole, especially since I purchased all four tires from Tire Kingdom and purchased the road hazard warranty. They told me it was the valve and decided not to plug the hole. They had the pressure set to 40 psi. I drove less than 10 miles stayed at my next destination for an hour (was at 38psi) and then went to have dinner (33psi) where unfortunately for me the shop had closed at 5 PM. I left dinner at 25 psi and will have to pay Pep Boys tomorrow to plug my tire with road hazard warranty. I can't believe this!!!! One thing I cannot tolerate under any circumstances is poor customer service! When you are in the business of service, from food, to care, to labor you have to always be on! With so many options to choose from, the level of service must be top notch during every interaction during the sale. Even with the great pricing at TK, bad service was a turnoff. This brunette guy at the counter (should have gotten his name) is the driest piece of toast out there and almost felt like he didn't want to be bothered with me. I have awesome Tire Kingdom folks where I am so I thought it would be the same experience. The dead silence from the time you walk in the door to the dead silence inside the place is eery and deafening. The office has zero personality and a guy floating around from chair to chair with a TK shirt on asleep while working was just weird. They didn't replace my window sticker or rotate the tires. I never received an update call or email so I just showed up. If I am ever in the are again I will have to find another TK or take business elsewhere. They did a good job on pricing and time but without doing anything extra it makes sense now. read more

Had a low tire pressure light come on while traveling from Sopchoppy to Tallahassee. Checked the pressures, one was much lower than the others & I was concerned there could be a nail or roofing tack in it. Danny the manager got me right in. Oil change. Made an appointment and waited an hour without service, needed to leave to go to work so rescheduled for the next week. Brought my car in the next week and had to wait an hour and a half to get into the bay even though I had an appointment. Others in the waiting room have had the same issues. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!! i took my work vehicle there for repairs after i called 1st and was told to drop off on a Friday and they would look at it later that day or the weekend and some one would call me. i called on Monday to see what has been done, come to find out they did nothing to the vehicle the whole weekend. He then (Zachary/Manager) told me he put the car on the computer and he called me over the weekend but they didn't and they had my correct number, but hen he tells me nothing came up i then asked, did he ask his mechanics to drive the vehicle to see what's its doing? he said no and he would have him do it. so they had the vehicle for another day and then when i picked it up it was still doing the same thing i took it in for! i then took it to FIRESTONE and they fixed it within the same day with no PROBLEMS!!! read more

I would love to give this company no stars but since this isn't an option, one it is....I guess they get a star for existing. My son took his car in for a simple oil change and they came out to tell him he needed; brake pads 2 new tires had an oil leak that had to be repaired These repairs were were quoted at $1300 Since he is a student at FSU and we are 4 hours away, I will typically just have his car repaired but since we had it looked at before he went back in the Fall, I decided he should get a second opinion. He took his car to Capital City where they told him they had no idea what he was talking about. He did not need brake pads or tires and the leak was coming from a cracked cap. A $100 repair. Unless you just like being taken advantage of, may I suggest you go elsewhere? read more

I have used Tire Kingdom for many years now, but only had to come to this location while visiting from Tampa. I have been there 2 times now in the past 2 months. In October for brakes and my service tech was awesome ( Freddie) . While I waited in lounge area for brakes to be completed, I observed the service manager being extremely rude to customers and remember thinking how glad I was that he was not working with me . Fast forward to December 15- I had to be in Tallahassee and had scheduled online an appt for an oil change. Upon arrival, the service manager was argumentative and insisted that I had NOT scheduled an appt for an oil change ( my name was on their reader board which validates that I had) and THEN, once I pointed out my name on the board,he informed me that I had only made an appt to have my oil checked. Who makes an appt to get their oil checked? He was rude and extremely condescending- repeatedly. When I was in a position to have to somehow Prove to him that I did make online appt for oil CHANGE , I showed him the screenshot I had taken of the savings code I had entered while making the appt- he rolled his eyes, huffed and puffed, and then proceeded to say....... m'am, ANYONE can take a screenshot.. My elderly mother was present and was upset as he was repeatedly and blatantly insinuating that I was not telling the truth. All I wanted was an oil change- and there was only 1 car present in a bay, it was not even busy, but 15 minutes was wasted having to argue with this guy. When we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere and as we opened the door to leave, he hugged and puffed ( ridiculous eye rolling) and said he could make it work. I asked him if he was going to do anything inappropriate to my car since he was so angry and he said no. So... I left it for the oil change(that's all I ever wanted) When I returned to pick up my car, he informed me that I had never been there before... yet, I had in October for brakes. Again, he argued so I had enough and asked him for my keys and walked to my car and got my receipt from October brake job at HIS location just to show him/ and yet again prove to him that I was telling the truth. They said they had several cars waiting so I had to wait about 2 hours until they could get to my car. Their waiting area has a TV, vending machines and drinks. I use to like going here because of the coupon use and location.The last time I went I did not like the salesman who rang me up he kept almost pressuring me to get a coolant exchange I declined and he kept saying I wouldn't drive that car etc etc and was trying to talk me into $300 worth of work about a coolant exchange and then he threw In other stuff, so when I left I called around because he had Me that scared like my car was going to blow up or something so I ended up going sears and got one for $88 . I now go elsewhere for my oil changes I much rather pay more with less hassle from sales man than pay less with more hassle . And my car is doing just fine read more

I've been coming to Tire Kingdom for many years, mainly because they have good service and fair prices. Through the years and turnover, I've experienced different levels of service, but today I encountered a first. The manager behind the counter basically told me I am a fool for changing my oil every 10,000 miles. I told him my 2006 Ford Escape hybrid has 196,400 flawless miles on it, so I must be doing something right. He rolled his eyes at me and told me I was just lucky. I seriously doubt he would have treated a man the same way. He tried to convince me that I either need synthetic oil or a more expensive filter, but I didn't budge. Does he not know about Ford's Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor system, or did he just want to upsell me because I'm a girl and I couldn't possibly know about cars (or does he just treat everyone this way)? Either way, I am unimpressed. My coupon for $19.99 ended up costing $24.11...when I asked, he said it was an additional $3 disposal fee plus taxes. That's a 22% increase in price from the coupon. That doesn't bother me as much as the attitude which really felt condescending. read more

I got a $10.00 off coupon in the mail for an oil change. I called to ask the price of an oil change as was told that "they start at $19.99." I asked if I have to make an appointment or if I could just come on in. They said to come on in. I got there 10 minutes later and was told that they were booked all day, so they could fit me in after about one and a half hours. I made an appointment for 2 days later. When I arrived at my appointment time, I was told that the way appointments work is that I have to wait for the car that they are working on to be done and that would be about another 30 minutes. One and a half hours later, I got my vehicle back with the oil changed. The cost was $23.00 even with the coupon. They said that the coupon brought the price to $19.99. That is not was said on the telephone. I waited an hour and a half for an oil change that I could have gotten down the road for the same price and waited only 15 to 20 minutes.
