After I ask, they say they can have it in noon the next day. I go there at 1:00 pm the next day, am told the wrong filter arrived, and they wouldn't be able to get the correct one until Tuesday because of long weekend. 5pm the same day get a call saying the filter came in (which means they lied to me about receiving the wrong filter). Just before they about to start, he says it's going to be $171 plus tax! That's nearly $200 for an oil change and $32 more than I was told the day before. Guy says he doesn't know who I talked to the day before and that's the price.

I mean, you pay for the speed of service. Almost 200 bucks for an oil change is kinda insane…read morethough. We drove in, we drove out in like, 10 minutes. We needed to drain the oil pan after we added a bit too much. They added an air filter which was only 20 bucks so the oil change was.. well, really effing pricy. Everything is still working though so it's an A-OK experience all around.

After inspecting the car Paul called and told us exactly what the problem was, but said he had looked it up on the internet and discovered that the failed part was in a factory recall, and instructed us to take it to a dealership, which we did. They repaired it within a couple of hours and it was totally free! Paul, if he were dishonest, could have fixed it himself and charged virtually any amount, and we would be none the wiser, but he was honourable! I was looking for an honest and excellent mechanic since we only moved to Surrey a year ago. I'm delighted I have found him. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Briefly, an employee broke the dipstick and parts entered the engine. There is also doubt about the quality and quantity of the "semi-synthetic" oil recommended which I purchased based on representations by their employees. The engine is now dieseling, knocking, and no longer runs far without stalling. My video has "before" and "after" scantool readings, as well as the receipt. The manager was so embarassed that I was given a $12 discount without my asking. Their people were quite warm and pleasant and offered advice as to where to buy Punjabi samosas in the area. One more item: Their manager offered to replace my car's fuel filter. I agreed to his suggestion, but did not hear anything further, so I do't know if he did/didn't change the fuel filter, which he said was under the car. He went down the steps to "below", and came back up a minutes later.

Especially the manager, who constantly tries to present himself in a positive light, yet the overall conduct seems highly questionable. In my opinion, their behavior resembles a form of modern exploitation -- taking advantage of others under the appearance of professionalism. I had a very disappointing experience. They initially provided misleading information just to get me to bring my car in. I took a day off and once I arrived, they started changing the story and caused unnecessary delays. What should have been a simple job turned into a full day wasted. It felt very unprofessional and inconsiderate of the customer's time and trust.

Christina and Joe runs the shop and they provide genuine feedback and advice. They never try to up sell you for anything that is not necessary, instead they will actually take their time to go over the conditions of the car with you, explaining what's good or what is recommended. I have been taking my cars to them for several years now and every time I get it maintenance, I can definitely tell the difference in how the car runs. Unlike other shops, they try to provide more of a personal rather transactional relationship to their customers. Referred few of my friends to go here and they also love it. Highly recommended especially if you're someone who doesn't know anything about cars. Also recommended for anyone who actually cares about their car. It's a no brainer 5 star!
