I had my truck towed to Carlson Chevrolet on December 31, 2025. I was told the engine replacement…read morewould be done by the third week of January. I didn't get it back until March 17. During that time, there was no loaner--only an offer to rent at my own expense--and updates were always "it's in queue" or "next week." No accountability, no urgency, and no effort to make things right. To make matters worse, I checked the oil before leaving the lot and it was low. After nearly three months for an engine replacement, that's unacceptable. I wanted to add, I requested the "broken engine" back. I was told I'd have to pay an additional $3000.00. Did they do this so I wouldn't want it back? Maybe I really didn't need an engine replacement? It makes me wonder. Nothing was ever mentioned about the core. No disclosure. I hope to save others the grief I have experienced with Carlson. My advice, go elsewhere.

He took it to a shop and they checked it and then this carlot was notified they said we ill take care of it but you needed to get it here so 2hr drive it was taken to them they checked it after having it a whole month and my son had to call them they said it needed a motor (when it really didn't) mechanic stated it would jist be easier to do it that way so they said the motor would be $18,000.00 and he would have to pay $13,000.00 that was the help they was giving of course he couldn't pay this so after keeping it even longer they Called him if you not getting it fixed come get it or we'll start charging you storage by the time he was able to go get it he was charged over a $1100.00 for doing nothing if you are smart do buy here TRASH LOT A $63,000.00 car sat for months before he got it fixed by a real mechanic and then it took the a whole year and a half to get the title to our DMV and my son was ticketed . Their financial team will run your credit thru 15 different companies after you tell them not to. And when you call to talk to the manager he lies.
