This is a great old time feeling a liquor store. They have a good selection and reasonable prices.

This places is a old historic super cool liquor/wine shop that has one of the coolest old school coolers stuffed with champagne in the back. Champagne does deserve it's own special cooler! So fab. When I was there last around Christmas, the owner & I were talking about the cool old school cooler in back, she told me a story of how a good friend gave it to her. Very interesting. Anyhoo, it's one of the cleanest & coolest old liquor stores ever. Located in a free standing old brick "railroad" building that used to be a tire shop. It still has the old signage on side of the building. It's kinda awkward to get to from the highway, parking is beside the building. The place is well stocked with all kinds of goodies from cheap to expensive & has tons of craft beers & imports. While I always like a cold glass of Champagne on arrival to where I'm headed, hubby likes to stop here for a pint of brainless raspberries. Yea, the beer. Lol Recommend :) read more

A delightful surprise of wine store! The fellow there was helpful and pleasant. A really great selection of wines in all price points. Very cool building too. It's hard to rate price range because it depends on what you get. I didn't have my traveling bottle opener and not in the mood to buy another, so I got moderately priced twist offs. Hence the $$. Stopped in Trinidad CO for a quick lunch and fuel stop while heading up to Denver from Austin TX and found this storeroom stock up booze. The most beautiful Black and Tan German shepherd greeted us w her owner, Carol, when we entered. Carol was super nice and after chatting for a bit she helped us out w a couple of store discounts and even helped us find a nice place to try an find live music. If you're looking for beer/wine/liquor, give this place your first look. It's not huge but they have all the favorites w the friendliest staff! What a nice store! They had a great selection of rhone grapes, plus some old and good non-rhone friends: The Prisoner Zinfandel ($45) , Catena Malbec $21. Prices were reasonable, selection was interesting and diverse. The lovely owner, Michelle, was working while we were there and she was charming and helpful. We will be back the next time we are in town. Easy location right next to starbucks, grocery, and park. read more

Great place wide variety of alcohol and if they don't have it Carol will go out of her way to find it. Nice and clean great atmosphere.

Great place to pickup some wine and head out to the wilderness. They have a fantastic selection and will even search for labels they don't have in stock. The great part is that they know good wine so be sure to ask for their recommendations! I'm not sure how they've gotten their hands on certain bottles but it's proof enough that this place tops the rest. I'll be returning every time I'm in the area. read more

Wow. I cannot believe what just happened at this 'lovely' establishment earlier today- If I could give zero stars and had the time report to The Better Business Bureau, I would. My family and I have been camping in the area for the past few days and we needed to replenish our beers and figured this place would do the job, boy was I wrong. I stopped in around noon and as soon as me and my fiancé walked in, I was abruptly badgered by an obscene woman yelling 'are you old enough', I chuckled a little and was in the process of presenting my identification and she laid in on us like we were peasant scum. Is it because we are Latina? I couldn't tell you, but I can say that this woman had no business treating paying customers like that. During her profanity laden tirade, I asked if she didn't care about customers or money, she said 'get the F**** out of here, I don't need your money or business' Is this how business in Trinidad operate? Or just failing liquor stores that have some sort of aggression toward brown colored people? I will never set foot near this dump again. Oh and the 80s called and they want their botched perm back. read more

This place is great! I was through Trinidad twice during the past summer, and each time I went in, the staff was exceptionally helpful. They have a way of talking that is not pushy or salesy, but get you talking about what you want, and they have extensive knowledge and can certainly pair you with the beer or wine that will make you smile. Their recommendations are excellent, and they were very friendly. The craft beer selection is good. Easy access, great location near the super market, and sweet dog! read more

Really glad we stopped by. Incredible selection in an historic building! We were greeted as we entered and appreciated the advice and assistance we received from Michelle. During our brief stay in Trinidad, it was a nice surprise to find the imported beer I prefer and an entire section of Sauvignon Blanc to choose from among both domestic and overseas vineyards. The layout and merchandising -- as well as the pricing -- are comparable to Spec's in Houston. Mike even offered to chill our purchases while we waited. Our only regret was that we did not have more time to browse given the single malt scotch options available. We recommend Tire Shop Wine & Spirits unequivocally. read more
