The food was exceptional and matched my order exactly, I will definitely be returning.

Quick stop in Trinidad, CO for breakfast. Quick, friendly service and good food. I had brisket tacos and they were very flavorful. Coffee was just ok. It's a great spot if you're short on time.

Amazing BBQ stop in a little town! We had our dog so we ordered the food to go and ate it at a park table on the lake. The staff were so kind and made it easy to order our food to go. The wait was a little long but that's BBQ and it was worth the wait! I got the pulled pork sandwich and the meat was tender and delicious! Do wish it had more BBQ sauce on it because that sauce was great! We shared the fried pickles and those were perfectly crispy and the ranch was tangy! We devoured our food quickly, finger licking good! I would come back here in a heart beat!

Made a stop on the way home to San Antonio. Really good bbq. Parking is on the side of the street parking is full. Food came quickly and my son and I shared the bbq plate. Oh my goodness it was so good! Brisket had some crispy bark in it. Turkey was tender and not dry. The restaurant has a sportsman feel and the staff was very kind and helpful.

Food was not good, no flavor and tasted like it had been sitting out most of the day. The fries were not good. Their nachos (that were recommended) were so blah and just stale not good. Giving them 2 stars for the service. Everyone was very nice and welcoming just the food was not good.

Great service as staff was very welcoming as soon as we walked in. Cocktails were great and loved the smokehouse decor with a speakeasy bar feel. The catfish nuggets with homemade tartar sauce rocked. We split the ribeye and baked potato. We were pleased and will return when in Trinidad.

Trinidad Steakhouse Use to be a brothel. Can't you see the ladies hanging out of their windows?!

The ambiance is welcoming, the service was friendly, the food was terrific! When they said it was fresh made that day, they weren't kidding. I had a pork ribeye. It was succulent. But let me just tell you - I have had Arnold Palmers all over the US, but this was by far The Best I have ever had. We watched as she mulled the lemons to make them! The BEST! We may be going out of our way when we travel to eat here again!

So to start this off, I would like to say that they are open till 10 PM even though yelp says eight. We arrived at like 815 so it was nice that they were still open. Only downside is their beers ran out before we got there and I had to pick a different option. I have to do my chicken wings with two different sauces and they accommodated, even to the point where my server said she was gonna try it next time. Let them know fact is that they start a second half hour from 8 to 10 PM . Noise as expected for a BbQ joint on a Friday night.

    The brisket and ribs

I paid over $50 for a to go family meal and it was barely a damn thing. I got 6 little slices of brisket and maybe HALF of a hot link. And only 4 ribs. Service was fine and got my hopes up just for this crap.

Top: Southern-Fried Catfish w/ Mashed Potatoes. Right: Country Fried Steak w/ Fried Okra & Baked Potato. Bottom: Flame-Grilled Salmon Salad

This spot is very lively and bustling, all the tables were filled at all times on a Friday evening, including the bar seating. The food was not extravagant, so the prices could be lower. Everything we had was not as flavorable for my liking and a little bland. The ice cream was okay, it just tasted like the same soft serve ice cream served at Chinese Buffets, which I dislike, but paired with the cobbler tasted better. I would definitely recommend one of the cobblers for dessert because they are made in house. It's decent food, small town vibes, and employees were friendly and had good service. I am guessing this is one of the more better spots in Trinidad.

One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the Armed Forces Parade right outside the hotel -- as a proud retired U.S. Army Veteran, that made the experience especially meaningful. Jason offered such a warm welcome from the moment I arrived, and I really appreciated the thoughtful check-in text and complimentary drink at check-in. Those touches made the stay feel personal and welcoming. The large shower and comfy bed are the bomb! I also loved the skylight and the cool patio area -- both added so much charm and comfort to the experience. I only wish I had more time to check out the taproom. My one suggestion would be adding an additional interior lock. As a single woman traveler, the extra security would provide additional peace of mind, especially with the combination lock setup. It's wonderful to see the care and vision that went into restoring this historic building. The future elevator addition will be a fantastic improvement as well. Nice work all around, and I sincerely wish you continued success!

And while there were several really great looking restaurants in the area, it was even too much effort to order delivery. So we pulled up the menu for Gagliardi's and ordered Fried Green Tomatoes, Chicken Fried Elk, and Chicken Piccata. All three items were amazing. No regrets, no notes, other than I feel like the packaging could be a little different. Something that retains heat a bit better or some kind of package that doesn't feel like our fried items will melt the package would be better. But obviously as you can see, that didn't affect my rating at all because everything was so yummy. Yes, the meal was pricey, but I feel like it was worth it.

Came out without onion or pickles and completely dry. No Mayo, mustard, ketchup, aioli, thousand island, nothing. Just dry. Burger was overcooked to beyond recognition and had zero flavor. Really it was the only thing to taste since nothing else was available, and surprisingly there was zero flavor. Just dry and a reminder that a trip to Burger King would have been 100x better and I hate BK. In fairness, I will say they generally do a better job. But tonight I left disappointed and mad at such a crappy meal. Service was pretty good overall but the waitress made no effort to discount the meal, offer another item that the check was prepared to make, like a PB&J sandwich, etc. I ate it so I would have paid regardless, but at least make an effort in a difficult situation. Overall I blame the management for not stocking the kitchen or training the staff how to handle their failures.

The restaurant wasn't fooling around when it comes to garlic. You could smell the enticing aroma of it as soon as you walk through the door. The ambience was quaint. It is connected to a hotel which I'd check out if I were traveling through here again. We arrived at the restaurant around 530pm. The happy hour menu had both drinks and some dinner items on it. My companion ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs from the happy hour menu. We were told the portion is the same as from the regular menu. It was $14. ($18 on regular menu.) It was a generous portion with three large meatballs. I opted for the Picatta Pasta at $12 and added four shrimp for an extra $6. They gave me five so I'm not sure if the chef made a mistake or was just feeling generous. I'll say the latter! The dish had tomatoes, capers, lemon, and white wine. The only thing I'd add to my taste would be pine nuts! We both totally enjoyed our meals including the bread! I forced myself to leave a little for lunch the next day and it was even better then! Comments I heard from around the dinner were equally enthusiastic about their meals, especially those who ordered the mussels. We're in town for a week and I don't usually go back to the same restaurant twice when I'm visiting a new location but my companion and I are definitely going back again before we leave.
