I dropped my car off in the morning for a simple alignment and tire rotation. They had my vehicle all day and didn't contact me until they were about to close--only to tell me it supposedly needed extra parts (which my car already has) and that it would now cost $750 to fix. There was zero communication during the day, and the sudden price jump felt completely unjustified. To top it off, I brought my car to another shop the very next day. They had it done ASAP with zero issues--and the total cost was only $169. That says a lot. Completely disappointed in the lack of transparency, professionalism, and honesty. I won't be back and can't recommend them to anyone. read more

WARNING! Take a picture of your odometer once you drop your car off!! My grandmother brought her car in to the Manteno locations and the mechanic took her car for a test drive. Then proceeded to use her car for his own personal use. He drove her car over 18 to Matteson, IL for his personal use and got a red light ticket. My grandmother brought the ticket in to tire tracks and asked for it to be paid. The sent off to main office for payment. Weeks later the ticket is yet to be paid and she is receiving letters that this will be put against her credit. I spoke with regional manager Shawn and he stated not to worry this will be paid by the 22nd, her letter shows that this will be put against her credit in 2 days. We are now waiting for the owner to cut a check at his convenience. read more

Stay away!! I had them mount 4 new tires. When I picked up my car, my wheels were covered with the soap they use as a lubricant and I didn't think much of it. The next day I went to clean them off and that's when I noticed why they'd left them do dirty. They had completely scratched and mangled the lips of all 4 rims. They had gouged into the aluminum and there were large flakes of paint that were loose and separated from wheel. I couldn't believe the damage they had done! I had just had them professionally repainted the month before so they looked like they were virtually brand new when I dropped it off. Fortunately I had taken pictures so I figured theres no way they wouldn't take responsibility. Nope. Sean, the manager swore that that's how it was when I dropped it off. He refused to look at my pictures and was completely defiant. I called their main office and it turns out he's the regional manager and the person that would handle a problem like this, so apparently this is their policy for all of their stores. I was in the collision repair industry for 20 years, 6 of those as a shop owner, and never in a million years would I ever dream of treating a customer like this! They said that someone from the would call me back but sure enough, no one has. Whatever you do, stay away from this business! read more

If you have a lot of money and don't care about a good job done then go to Tire Tracks USA in Manteno. They cant even change a radiator hose. Cost to me should have been about $100 ok, did a bad job, on the road all the coolant had leaked out had to buy coolant to get home at $17. Took it back said a bad clamp changed the clamp. All the coolant leaked out had to buy more coolant at $17. Took it back need tightening of the clamp. Did a coolant pressure check was good but that the coolant was low. Sent me home. Coolant had leaked out $17 more. Over heated Did not go back instead took it to Stevenson Auto Repair in Kankakee. Did a pressure check found a bad clamp that was changed by Tire Tracks USA in Manteno 3 times, no more leaks cost me $125 thank you Tire Tracks USA in Manteno YOU COST ME $276 ALL MOST RUINED MY ENGINE. read more

While in route to Urbana, my Altenator went out on my truck while getting gas in Manteno. We were directed to Tire Tracks by the employees (Curtis was AWESOME) at the local Wendys. The managers Phillip and Sally (and the floating manger) were so awesome. The were able to order a battery and Altenator for my truck and had us back on the road by 2pm. This could have been a disaster of a trip, but they took really good care of us. While were waiting, Sally told us to go around to corner to grab a bite to eat at Yanni's Resturaunt, which was also awesome. read more

Sally is the best. She really knows her stuff and is a straight shooter. Her husband is also in the business and between them, I feel like I get parts and services like a close friend of the family. You cannot beat the prices here. They even helped me change my coolant in a car that was never meant to change coolant. They steered me away from changing my trans fluid, telling me it would cause more problems than it would prevent. They have done suspension work on my car at half the cost of others...and super fast too. read more

Worst experience with customer service ever. I bought 4 new tires and had them put on along with an oil change. Mysteriously my headlight was broken when I went to go pick it up. The manager Sally had a attitude every time I had to walk in here. She told me to return within a couple days to tighten the lug nuts. Since it is so convenient for them to close at 12 on Saturday I had to come back monday. On my way there, my wheel snapped off my car. Luckily I was only going 30 mph. The first thing Sally said is "Did you come in to have us tighten the lug nuts?" Why would I? They over tightened them. Then stuck ME with the bill. read more

I need to change my review... When I went to this place for them to fix my alignment, they purposefully cut the boot on my brand new tie rod.. needless to say, they have lost my business. It is under warranty, so this week I will get a new tie rod put on and I certainly will NOT be going back there for my alignment! This shop vandalized my car because they thought I was trying to "get one over" on them. I do not recommend this place. It is obvious that the vandalism was intentional. read more
