After picking up the vehicle and driving it, the vibration I had been experiencing was completely gone, so I am very happy with the repair itself. There were some frustrations with communication and pricing. My appointment had previously been changed over the phone but apparently wasn't entered into the system, which required additional calls. I was also initially told the vehicle would be ready the same day, but that timeline wasn't met. I also think the fee structure could be more customer-friendly. There is a 3% shop fee for general administrative/service overhead in addition to a separate 3% credit-card convenience fee. I personally think these costs should be clearer upfront, particularly when you're already paying for the service itself. That said, when the vehicle wasn't completed when originally promised, I asked if they could provide a discount, and they did. Most importantly, they did what I brought the car there to have done. All four wheels were repaired and the vibration is gone. Despite the communication issues and additional fees, I am very satisfied with the quality of the actual wheel repair and appreciated them working with me on the final price.

I called the young man out and showed it to him. I had washed the car the day before, so I know there was NO damage on that rim. The guy told me to bring it back Tomorrow and the guy that fixes the coating would be there. I returned the next day and Tony (Owner/manager ?) was there and the other older guy. I showed them the rim and they told me it was bad clear coat, and had me convinced that what it was. I was to go back to how did the coating. The other guy said he had pictures of the damaged area BEFORE they did the work. I am convinced that that was taken after the damage was done due to the location on his picture was the same as when I found the damage the day they did the work. So I returned today to see if he would fix the rim. He just told me it was bad clear coat. I told him I know that the rim was not damaged when I brought the car there. That he should fix the rim at no cost to me. He just said he was done and walked away. As I was going to get into my car there was a customer standing there (Outside) that Tony was going to get an estimate for. I looked at the guy and said "Be Careful". Tony chims in and says I'm threatening him and he is going to take a picture of my plate, which I told him go ahead. Then he's video taping me in my car as I drive off ! I get a phone call a minute after I leave and didn't answer it, not knowing the number that came up. When I get home I check my messages and it's is from Tony saying he has called the police because I had threatened life !!! and they would put a warrant out on me. WOW. Noticed it was flat (5psi). Aired it up to 32psi, and decided to check the next day. Once again, flat (4psi). I brought it back in. Was told there was a crack in the rim (in an odd location), and it would be more money to fix. At this point, I could have purchased a new rim for what I was being charged. I explained that they told me it was fixed, and didn't bother to check the rim for leaks, leaving a customer to go out with a leaky damaged rim (major liability issue). That with the odd location of the crack, it may have been caused by their repair methods. Also stated, I was asked to be charged again for what I already paid for, and was quoted to repair it, was unacceptable. They refused to budge. Do not do business with Custom Butiek. They have deceptive business practices, and do not check on their work to make sure you are going to be able to drive a safe vehicle after their half hearted repairs.

Within just three months, the tint faded so badly that it could no longer block out the sun. This place just opened, and I was the very first customer. So exciting…read more I pulled up and there was only a small box truck parked sideways against the garage doors. The truck was running so I knew somebody was there...and there was. The owner - Mr. Jose Tires himself. He just opened and he was still moving things around inside, so the doors were locked. And I know...the truck was still running. Mr. Jose immediately opened the doors after I knocked and took care of business. He didn't have the correct tire, so he called his other shop (Calumet Ave.) and had them bring one ASAP. Impressive. $15.00 and 25 minutes later I was out the door. I'm telling you - Jose is ALL BUSINESS!
