Ordered new tires, had them shipped to them to the store through Amazon, I had Prime so I get half off, they came saying they are "Shit Tires" They are the same quality and price as ones in the store except I save a couple bucks. Super unhappy and acted like I was trying to steal tires or something. They where weirded out what I used Amazon becuase I could bundle installation and shipping together. They were just completely rude and didn't wanna install the tires or do the work. Luckily I didn't have to pay extra on top of Amazon paying them for install. They also said the store number is wrong but then acted clueless when I said I don't mind updating it on Apple Maps. Just overall very rude and not helpful. Terrible manager, says his name was Nathan/manager, deceitful and disrespectful. Very aggressive demeanor and extremely unprofessional. Asked his title and name initially and advised him I was filing a complaint, he says call Google, and hangs ip the phone. I immediately call back and he was aggressive, unprofessional and down right rude. He accused me of "coming at him" when I was sitting in my vehicle as he repeatedly talks down to me and when I ask him several questions, he keeps saying "I don't know!" (not someone I want to touch my truck let alone work on it). I said never mind and that i was gonna go somewhere else, he just turns and walks away. He lost a $1400 sale because of his attitude. I am pursuing this formally with Monroe, parent company, yelp and the BBB. By the way, zero is not available or I would give this store a zero. Interestingly there is several complaints on here specifically referencing Nathan. Monroe Customer service was awesome in the process (after I looked up their number because Nathan would not give it out) of filing a complaint! So apologetic. read more

Honestly, even one star is too high given the experience I had yesterday, 4/19. To preface, when Joe was the manager I always had a fantastic experience. As soon as Nate took over I had heard nothing but negative reviews (promising to order TPMS sensors and then acting confused when coming to get them installed). I decided to give them a chance to see for myself. I scheduled an appointment online to drop off a set of wheels and tires for mounting (purchased a used of wheels with snow tires on them, intending to mount my summer tires and keep the winters for later use). When booking online, it doesn't give a specific time, it gives a range (either morning 7:30-11 AM or afternoon). I arrived late, around 11:15, I'll own that. Upon arrival Nate was immediately *very* unfriendly, as if my coming in was a nuisance to him. When asked if I had an appointment, I gave him the above information to which he asked if I booked online, as he wasn't finding me. When I told him yes, he responds with "that was your first mistake". I'm sorry, WHAT?! On what planet is that even remotely acceptable to say to a customer? Afterwards, I am informed that if an online booking conflicts with a phone/in-store booking, it will just move the online booking an send an email. I received no such email, as verified in front of Nate. He tells me he'll take a look anyway, which was the ONLY positive to this interaction with him These Method rally wheels use a bolt-on center cap as opposed to clip-in. Given I purchased these wheels used, I had no idea the last time these were opened. He did attempt to loosen them to no avail along with another technician. Himself and another tech immediately jump into discussion about removing the plastic portion of the cap to see if it would fit on the balancing machine. Before I have a chance to offer any input, Nate is popping out the plastic portion, breaking the center cap. Sadly, this did not create enough room, so Nate states "well, you can still use them for winter" which IS true, but I purchased these wheels for summer use and was already feeling very unhappy. I tell him "sorry, that's not an acceptable answer, I already have winter wheels and tires" to which he quips "oh that wasn't a question" and glares at me, and then asking "do you have a question?" in a condescending tone. At this point I've had enough, thank them for their time, and head down the road to a competitor who was able to accomodate me and get the situation sorted. I miss Joe read more

He blamed me because I waited almost a week to look in my trunk, told me I have no proof and that he bets "You're one of those women who complain if the cable guy is ten minutes late." I'm visiting from the south driving a car with nitrogen in the tires. This morning after a cold night I discovered that the pressure was down. This is new to me. I had no idea where I could go to get them fixed. The Toyota dealership couldn't help me but referred me to the Tire Warehouse. I called and checked that they had the gas. When I arrived there was no wait and the service manager checked all the tires. Filled them and didn't charge me anything. He took the time to explain about the temperature effect which went a long ways to reassure me. Thanks for great service. I would definitely use this business again if I lived in the area. read more

I wanted to have my new new tires put on my new wheels and this guy was clearly upset that I hadn't purchased the wheels from them. He berated me for not going them first, advised me they never schedule appointments ahead of time, and I would just have to take my chances with their first come first serve method. All the time he was just RUDE RUDE RUDE! stay away! I have always brought tires here to do a change-over. This year the guy at the front desk told me that "they don't do that here" because I didn't specially purchase tires from them. I asked where I should go instead, because I don't recall ever having a problem prior, and he told me that no shop around here would put them on for me. The whole time he had an attitude. The guys at Tire Warehouse in Rutland provide consistently good service at a fair price. They are very professional but also offer a down home local feel that makes you feel appreciated. Another horrible experience with your manager. I went to get some new wheels for my new snow tires and have them installed. This guy, whom I know is the manager immediately got snide telling me to come back after Black Friday (over a week, lol). Then he says "have you had them on your car before?" I said "no". And he actually said with his mouth "Well goodbye then, we don't do that. You wouldn't ask for a big Mac at Burger King. We do not install internet tires, it's too much trouble." He kept going but I was not in the mood to continue to be insulted so I left. First of all "internet tires?" Bold assumption. I got those tires at a LOCAL CHARITY AUCTION, and was assured any tire shop would put them on. Secondly, you could be polite when refusing someone service even if you don't like "internet tires". It's called customer service, and it's painfully obvious this guy has never had one minute of customer service training. A very poor choice to have someone like that managing your business. I am (was) a REGULAR CUSTOMER of your store. If you can search by my name, you will see I've bought many sets of tires there. In fact, one of them exploded on my daughter, and this same man was rude about that as well, saying she should have stopped when she noticed a problem (She did. The tire blew.) The tires I am removing came from there, and I fully intended to buy a new set in the spring when the winter ones come off. Obviously I'm never going there gain. While I was waiting for my last set of tires to be put on he was yelling at an elderly customer for wanting service, because it was hard to find employees and "nobody wants to work". This is not the customers' concern. Do you not realize there's literally four other tire shops within walking distance of yours? This guy is actually laughable at the way he treats people and you're very poor company for not addressing this. I'm not the first to complain about him. read more

Don't do it!!! This company is the worst! First they installed the tires without balancing them so we couldn't get to our Christmas dinner with family having to stop at the next store to get all 4 tires removed and balanced. Next when we wanted our summer tires installed they had torqued the bolts so hard that ALL of them broke had to be drilled out and replaced which cost me close to $700.00!!! Now their "customer service" states they will not refund ANYTHING because we "might have had someone else work on the car!!!! Terrible terrible company with even worse customer service! read more

terrible service, they changed my wheels to summer and over torqued the wheel and it damaged my wheel bearings. I called customer service and they told me there is probably nothing they can do to help me. My mechanic had to reinstall a new hub and it cost me over 300 dollars. Terrible. I call to get a price on tires. Told the employee I was going to look around for a better price. Guy says "okay we will be here". I buy tires and save 150 dollars. Come in to get them put on. Guy tells me at the counter "we don't install new tires". I ask "since when?" "This year". I ask "why". Answer "Because we are losing business". I tell him how I have been a customer for 4 years in a row. So now they have lost a repeat customer and really showed true colors. This town isn't loaded with money to buy new tires from them at a premium and Covid as already hurt people's pockets enough. Not cool good luck. 2nd experience with the store was poor. I ordered tires through Tirebuyer.com who is a corporate affiliate, but the local manager would not honor the install rate. I would have been happy to pay the higher rate but did not want to deal with the hostility that he conveyed over the phone. He told me that he wanted to sell me tires, but at a higher cost. in addition to a generally hostile attitude, I was told that I could pick up the tires I had already paid for, for $40. I went there several years ago and was told the 10 ply tires would cause my TPS sensors to malfunction and they would not sell me the tires I wanted, not true, I ordered from Tirebuyer.com and (saved some money) had my local installer put them on...lived happily ever after. Discovered a piece of metal in my tire on a Sunday. Went online Sunday night, picked out tires, and set up an appointment for Monday. Received confirmation of the appointment first thing Monday when they opened. They didn't try to sell me any extras, and changed all four tires on my vehicle in less than 30 minutes. read more

If I could have given this shop a ZERO STAR rating I would! These guys are liars and crooks. I brought in my 15 year old Honda to have some tires swapped over. My car comes with 195/65/15 tires. I had 185/65/15 tires from another car I recently sold. They told me that the tires were the wrong size and that they would not fit. This is a bold faced LIE! I'm not an idiot. I know it's not ideal to change size but at the same time it is perfectly safe and legal. They just wanted to sell me new tires. SCUMBAGS! I will NEVER go there again and will tell EVERYBODY I know to stay away as well. read more

Spring tire change over. Informed that they couldn't put 2 m/s tires back on front. I told them, not an issue, I'll just change them around when I was home. They said that would work. 5 minutes later I was told that they couldnt put tires on because they were 11 years old. Funny, just last winter the same guy told me I was crazy to get rid of these two specific tires because they appeared to be in great condition. Now this spring that has changed. These tires have very few miles on them and the tread is excellent. Informed them that I would make sure to pass this experience on to everyone I knew so that they didnt have to experience this trickery/deceit. Go Elsewhere!
