Sadly there has been a change in employees at this location and it seems that our recent visits have turned into upselling for various items such as lug nuts, oil seal, or studs. It all started out great! Very clean customer area, very polite staff at the desk. I ordered tires through Goodyear.com and had them delivered here to be installed. I figured, if Goodyear is trusting this shop to be an installer, why not give it a try. Tires were put-on in no-time, had a brief chat with the manager, very nice guy. But then I drove the vehicle on the highway, it appeared that there's shaking going-on. So I took it back. After I dropped it off, they called me to say that there's nothing wrong with it. That it must be the brakes. I'm certain that when I'm driving on the highway at 70 mph, my brake pads are not making contact with the disk. When I shared my disagreement, it was like I stepped on their ego and next thing I know, every sentence started with "just so you know".....talk about gaslight central! Luckily, they extended a courtesy reimbursement for me to take my tires to another shop and reimburse me for the tire balance, which I did. Wouldn't you know it, they were able to fix the issue! After visiting 3rd time this month, I do see a vast difference between the shop and the customer area. NOBODY had safety glasses, some guys had their shirts un-tucked around machinery, one guy had headphones on replying to text messages while under a vehicle. They treat their customers well, just not their vehicles. Great customer service, not my car-shop. read more

Got some new tires on a Monday. That night I was leaving work and one of the tires was 20 psi low. Filled it up and found out the valve stem was leaking. Weird because it wasnt leaking before I got the tires on. So had them replace the valve stem which I had to wait till Wednesday because they didn't have an open time to do it that worked for me. So I had to drive 40 miles to and back home from work on a leaking tire... fun. So Wednesday got it into the shop and they replaced the stem and had to clean and seal the wheel because it was leaking around the wheel too. Which is also weird because they should've done that to begin with when I got the new tires on. The other sensor also stopped Working the same night, and again it was fine before getting tires. After having to pay for their screw up, I'm not going back again. I've never had such a horrible experience over a tire. For reference it was just over $170 for tire install/dismount for my Ram 2500 and $20 for disposal of the old tires, then another $45 to fix the stem and clean the wheel. The best part about the experience was the waiting room chairs were nice and comfortable. read more

We have come here several times for regular maintenance on our vehicles. This last time we took my daughters car to the dealership where they told us that it was going to need around $4000 worth of work. We didn't get anything done there. We took that paperwork to tire max and they checked out the vehicle completely. They told us it was just a reset button that had to be pressed. And that the car didn't need any of the work that the dealership said it needed. This place is a godsend! Thank you so much! Honest and reliable!! read more

I was searching the web for tire prices and almost forgot about this (relatively new) place; it's not too far from home but I don't frequently shop in Aurora. Glad I thought to check because their prices were significantly better than where I've previously bought tires in Solon. The installation price was similar so it was a no-brainer. Everyone in the place was friendly. The waiting area and restrooms were incredibly clean. There is a more private/quiet space off the main area if you need to get some work done away from the sound of the television and people answering phones at the main desk. Definitely worth a look if you're tire shopping. read more

These guys are incredibly good. Honest, very fairly priced and great work. They offer great advice on what needs to be done, how much, and what can wait until later. No pressure at all and they take their time to explain everything. They also do much more than their name suggests i.e. they are not just tires. DO NOT TRUST THE AURORA LOCATION. I recently had my AC serviced at this location. They failed to notice a very apparent bad condenser. They sent me on my way with a recharge and no explanation. Six weeks later I'm down $400 and only have hot air in my car... Find another shop for your needs. read more

Posted a previous review, this is in addition. When I took my car to another car service, they found that the nail I had seen in the tire, and that tire max told me they could not fix and that all of my tires needed to be replaced for over $600, ended up not even being through the tire. It was simply stuck in the tread and looked like it was in the tire. So tire max tried to sell me over $600 worth of tires when nothing was wrong with the tire at all. I suggest never going to this location. I know I will not. read more

We moved nearby and liked that TireMax was literally right around the corner. After having great experiences at other competitors, I was excited to meet the guys here since it's a standalone store (locally owned) and not a chain. I took my car there to swap my street wheels for track wheels. I asked about an alignment and they were honest with me that I didn't need one just for swapping wheels. They were done within 30 minutes and couldn't have been easier to work with. Looking forward to a long relationship with TireMax. read more

After hitting a cavernous chuckhole this morning, I noticed a large bubble in my left front tire and knew it wouldn't be safe to drive for much longer. After calling several tire places to get an estimate I decided to try these guys out. Even though I wasn't happy about having to spend the money the service I received ranks with some of the best I ever experienced for car repair. Lowell and his team did an outstanding job and it was very clear they care about their clients! In fact, they got me back on the road faster than it takes most places to do a tire rotation and oil change! The best part was learning that this is a locally owned business, not a national chain! My dealer told me my brake pads were at 3 in the front and 6 in the back and they were seizing. They recommended immediate replacement and repair at several hundred dollars. I called Tire Max and asked if they had any deals and I was quoted a good price. I left the car and when I came back an hour later they told me there was nothing wrong with my brakes and the pads were at 8 and 10 respectively. They didn't charge me a cent ! What honest people. I will definitely go back - especially since they have Perrier in the waiting room! read more
