UPDATE: I beat the drums with a sledge hammer until they came off (I was concerned about breaking them, which I would be accountable for - see photos - which is why I requested they do this for me). A smudge of some anti seize on the hub, or even maybe cleaning it with a wire brush would have made the removal of the drums much easier in the future (if you cared that is). The photos are just after I took the new drums off. The diagram shows where the struts should be, and you can not see them in the photos, because they're not there! I had to order new parking brake struts and springs, and I will order the replacement parking brake cable section that was frozen with rust. As you can see on the invoice I had my winter tires swapped onto rims and balanced. I delivered four rims with unbroken hub covers. They sent them back with one hub cover bolts both snapped off in the rim, requiring me to extract those broken bolts and replace them. They didn't mention that they cost me another hour or so fixing that! Summary: Tires Plus Buffalo Minnesota proved they don't care about the service they provide, their own professional knowledge and training, or me the customer who pays them. They're not good mechanics, I wouldn't call them that, and I won't give them any more of my money. I will be locating a trustworthy, reliable, honest mechanic who cares that I'm paying for them to be professional with my machines and my family and friends automobiles. I went to Tires Plus for an oil change and to have a tire balanced. I made an appointment and asked what it cost for balancing a tire, the man told me it cost $15. So I had the work done and went to pay, I am a serior citzen on a fixed budget so I use coupons whenever I can. I save $17 on the oil change, but they added $20 to the tire balancing, They are a very dishonest company. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

had to have a tire taken off and my spare put on simple enough task but apparently not for these idiots at the Buffalo tires plus. my daughter and granddaughter were nearly in an accident due to tires plus not tightening lug nuts on the spare that they put on for me. Stay AWAY!!! On 9-20-2017 i was in Buffalo tires plus to have 4 tires installed,and have my brakes and front chassis components checked. I was never imformed to have needed any repairs on my 99 chevy tahoe which was fully restored in March 2016. I requested to have my wheel wieghts not on the face of the wheel as well. On 9-22-17 i had to have my wheels rebalanced due to incorrect wheel wieght posistion. Tires plus never informed me of any chassis problems or brake problems at time of either visit and never provided me with an inspection. Nor did they provide me with any documentation showing i declined service, which i did not do. On october 18th i had to have a full brake overhaul, calipers,brake pads,and rotors. Then on November 22 2017 my truck was inspected from a very serious and potentionally fatal car accident involving My Wife with Multiple Sclerosis and my 3 children. The cause of the accident was a Broken Tie Rod End. I havecrequested documentation showing my courtesy check and brake inspection Justin declined to give me said documents due to not having any documents. Which after my brake repair and csr accident from a broken tie rod i gsther they never preformed a safety check which tires plus does do standard and if they dont they require you to sign off declining inspection. read more

This is the worst place that a person could go for automotive service / tires. Each and every time that I have dealt with this company, it has been disastrous. They are rude, overpriced and unskilled. If you are looking for automotive service in the Buffalo, MN area, there are so many better places to go. Just a few issues that I have had with them: 1. Their "technician" was too much of an amateur to properly do an alignment on an Audi S4. After 3 days, multiple phone calls, and me telling them how to actually perform the alignment, I received a bill for $300+. Their quote was around $70 and I was never informed of any additional charges. 2. I needed an alignment on a VW R32, and this was the only place that could get it in on short notice. I dropped the car off and they pulled it onto their alignment lift. After a few hours, I came to pick up the car, only to be informed that they could not perform the alignment because their alignment machine wasn't updated to the proper specs. Being familiar with the machine they use, I know that custom specs can be entered. So, I found the specs and gave them to the tech. I was then informed that they did not know how to enter custom specs. I then told them to forget the alignment. They pulled the car off the lift and almost ripped off the front bumper off because they forgot that the approach angle of their lift was too steep for a lowered vehicle (they used boards to get it on but not off). Ultimately, the VW dealer aligned the vehicle in about 45 minutes for $75. 3. I needed a discontinued tire due to side wall damage. I called around and only Tires Plus stated that they could get the tire. It was obscenely expensive, but I really needed the tire. I dropped the rim and old tire off and came back a few hours later to pick it up. When I was given the tire, it was a completely different tire than I had asked for (not even close). I then asked the guy behind the counter why the tire was so different, and he stated that It was the tire that replaced the discontinued tire that I had (it wasn't). We then found the appropriate tire (the actual tire that replaced the one I had) I asked if I could purchase that one instead. He said sure, but you will still need to purchase the incorrect tire as it is now "used". I refused to purchase the incorrect tire, and they finally agreed to take it back after much arguing. However, as a final little f-you, they made me pay for mounting and balancing on a tire that I never wanted. In the end, I went to tirerack.com and ordered the exact tire that I needed for $65 less than tires plus. read more
