It's been extremely hot this summer and relying on a/c is a way of life...Well My Vehicle A/C decided to quit. Not good! Called Tirrell Radiator. They said sure bring it in for service 1st come 1st serve. They open up at 8am I was there at 7:45am. They informed me of the defective valve on my compressor... order the part... I was on my way home by 10am. Have to admit I was I Initially concerned about the cost. The pricing was fair for the work done... Will definitely use their services in the future. read more

Sent our car into for repairs, simple a/c fix. The problem was it was leaking, so I take it in, wait a week and then when its ready its a fucking mess. The a/c was even worse when we got it back! It now only works on the highest setting and an audible whine can be heard whenever its on like a dying motor. Not to mention the shift cover was somehow ripped off and now that is broken too. These "mechanics" are utter dirtbags that have no idea what they are doing. You take your car there they will ruin it with their unbelievable incompetence. Stay away. read more

Had to cut ties with them after 10+ years of excellent service. I was very surprised. My truck had a misfire and needed a new cat, and I was told they were on the phone waiting for the part which would save me some money and that nappa was very expensive $900 for the part and $500 labor which would get me to over $1400. He told me he would call me asap after the less expensive part was ordered. Got a call the next day and was told "I think this is going to work" and I of course thought great this will save me a few bucks, come to find out it was the original price he told me he was going to try to get me out of. I had water pump go on a 2013 Ford F150 on a Sunday night. The quest for a repair shop started Monday morning. The local Hyannis Ford dealership said the could possibly look at it 2 days, but an appointment was 3 weeks out, The mid Cape Ford dealership didn't even answer the phone. The AAA recommended shop provided limited hope. Peggy at Davis Towing recommended Tirrell Radiator. I called and spoke to a wonder women who said to have it towed there and they would look at it that morning. They diagnosed the issue (water pump) and quoted the repair within 2 hours. I gave the go ahead for the work and it was completed the same day and less than the quote! When I picked up the truck, the gentleman was sure to explain the 1 year warranty on parts and labor. With great trepidation I entered Tirrell Radiator to get my AC checked. It was blowing hot air and I was dreading the possible repair charge. I was also dreading the wait. WELL!!! He took my car in in less than 5 minutes. And another 10 minutes he told me it needed to be recharged $99.95. Reasonable. 15 minutes it was done and I was on my way. He said if there's a leak the repairs could run $50 to 800. I appreciated his candidness. I was on my way with cold air in less than 30 minutes. I'm told this is the only place on Cape Cod for this kind of work. Everyone says they are wonderful, fair people. I would definitely agree. THANK YOU for such a great experience. read more

They do auto a/c work in the summer... Long story short, my local a/c shop took my money, left me with non-working a/c, and told me there was nothing he was willing to do about it. Tirrell looked at my system, devised a solution which might cost about $500, but then started with an even more conservative approach which just involved listening to me, and putting in a 20 cent o-ring.... fingers crossed, my a/c is still working fine 2 weeks later... and they said if it proves to still leak too fast, then I get a credit on the additional work, if needed, for up to 30 days. They don't take appointments, it's first come first served. I wish I had gone to them first! read more

Bought a used car with 20 thousand miles in the winter...First hot day we found out the a/c did not work...Took it to Tirrell's and they checked it out and found the compressor was no good from not being used in years...Made an appointment...Dropped it off..Now we could make ice in the car.....My wife is happy so I am happy...Thank's Tirrell's...Great job.... read more

My family swears by this place. I went to a few other places over Yarmouth and Hyannis but they ACTUALLY found what was wrong with my car when others couldn't. Other places wanted 1K just for some minor work but they did minor and major issues for 1K. read more

On my way to the cape my AC didn't seem to be cooling and only got worse. On the recommendation of a friend I went to Tirrell to make an appointment to have it checked out. Not only did they check it right then but fixed it and guaranteed the recharge if it didn't work. All that while having my mother sit in the car so I didn't have to get her out on a walker. I haven't ever experienced such friendly and accommodating customer service. I highly recommend them. read more

Took it for a check up but cause I had no a/c and heat. The motor was running fine. They installed a new part. After the service supposedly done I paid and I drove car home. Turned out I had a misfire on my V6 it ran on 5 cylinders. I took it back for repair then after 3-4 days was told they werent fix it. After all I paid to get my car damaged. Didnt work for me.
