I went to this place to get multiple things installed on my car and they screwed up every install. I originally went to get a CarPlay radio installed because my car came with an older radio and for the first month the radio worked fine but then started to become very glitchy and almost unusable. When I went looking for the problem I found that they had shimmed the unit in with lottery scratchers and when I went to them for help, everything they told me to do didn't help and they wanted me to pay for a fix. I also went to them for some custom bodywork (this is before the radio went bad) and the work done seemed good at first but the longer I had the car the more problems I found. The paint has started cracking where the work was done and when I brought it up they blamed it on my cars wheels rubbing against the body (which I had made sure wasn't happening) and when I looked on the underside of the work it wasn't even fully connected to the car leaving a nice open hole to the body of the car for it to start rusting. Again they wanted me to pay more for them to fix their mistakes. I also got a "new" battery from them because they claimed my old one was dead. Come to find out they gave me an old dying battery and I paid for it. I would not recommend this place for any work on your car. They will give you the runaround and try to take as much money from you as possible. read more

Not sure about the good reviews here, just the experience I had, which was pretty horrible. Started with sales people on the floor who acted like they were doing you a favor to help. Finally had a young. High pressure, smarmy kid who gave me a condescending lecture on how complex and customized my install would be and so would be "expensive ". Turned out to be a completely standard job of course, but that didn't stop them from charging me a grand. When I picked up the car, the stereo was so loose in the frame, it pushed into the dashboard as soon as I used the touch screen. The salesperson told me; "it was supposed to be like that" as galling as that was. A piece of plastic frame was suddenly loose on my shifter and the frame of the stereo FELL off. The rear speakers had giant loops of wire hanging down from them, which certainly would have pulled out, the first time I loaded my trunk. A USB plug was dangling from a wire pushed between the cracks of my console. When I pointed these things out, I got LOTS of attitude, and a generally snotty response. Never again. read more

I went to Bumper to Bumper because it is in my city and I'm a true believer in support city business before going outside. I purchased lights for my truck that was recommended to me and I liked them for their design and factory appearance. The installation cost more than the product purchased and this was agreed upon at purchase. (no complaint there). The product was replaced twice due to poor quality and failing to hold up. It was recommended that I use a car wash with lifting brushes on the second product replacement which I did and supervised the operation as the truck was washed. AGAIN, THE PRODUCT FAILED as I supervised the wash on the replaced product, the product flew off. I called Bumper to Bumper and explained to them that this product was just not working and that it had failed again. I could tell that the counter person was aggravated with me and the call/ Issue. I asked if the lights could be broken down into separate lights and I was told that he would reorder another set and call me. TWELVE weeks have past, I have sent an email asking for a resolution to my costly purchase and yes, crickets! CRICKETS is not good to hear or tolerate from a supposed quality company. SHAME SHAME SHAME I am a veteran of three combat conflicts and a retired veteran. I will advise my brothers in arms about this company, service, and unforeseen outcome to my issue/s. These clowns have the worst attitudes in any retail establishment that I have ever encountered. I had an appointment. Got there on time. Was told "we are too busy" to work on your truck right now. I advised them that I came to an APPOINTMENT and I was told it would only take 30 minutes for the install, and I have 3 employees with me that I am paying by the hour, so NO I cannot leave the truck here for the day. I was told, "either leave it here or make another appointment" . Clearly these bozos don't understand what the work "appointment" means, nor do they have any clue what "customer service" means. To exacerbate this horror scene, they charged my credit card $50 more than what the invoice said. Buyer Beware is saying it mildly, if you decide to do business with these jerks you better expect to be treated like a second class citizen once you pay IN ADVANCE for the service (or lack thereof) that you THINK you are going to get. read more

They hacked up my car after i asked them to install a rear diffuser/bumper spoiler which they installed crooked and then tried to patch it up with a home made rubber seal and bondo glue epoxy that's permanently stuck to the paint job of my rear bumper. Now it's going to cost me over $1000+ to repaint/replace the rear bumper. I had purchased my wife a remote starter and installation as a Christmas gift through Amazon. When she went for the appointment she was pressured right off the bat to buy a different kit. After sitting there for an entire day, the service was not completed. I took a day off from work to bring the car a couple weeks later to get the starter installation finished. They reported to me that the module was defective but they had another one that they could sell me for $100.00. Not wanting to waste another day with a half installed system, I begrudgingly agreed. They told me to send the module back to the manufacturer and they would give me a refund. I did just that and low and behold, the module tested out just fine at both the distributor and the factory levels. Not only did this cost me a day of work, an extra $100 bucks, but I spent another 15 bucks in shipping. Complete scam. Why sign up to install things you don't know how to install.... I went to Drivers side in Plainville ma to get a quote on things like stereo installation and lowering my car. I was quoted a garbage price for all 4 speakers and there is no way I was gonna spend a grand on it. While talking to the kid behind the counter I felt like i was an annoyance to him. I also asked if they do installation like a car grill that i purchased and they said they only install stuff that you buy through them I called Bumper to Bumper in Brockton Ma and talked to Jay who was super professional and gave me way better quotes on all the service i wanted and actually just took my car down there to get a grill installed. When I told him that they would not install my grill he laughed! They did a fantastic job. I will continue to give them my business as they seem like they want it! These guys are great! I wanted to replace speakers in my car, pulled them out myself and brought enclosures to the shop so the speakers can be replaced. The guys talked me out of buying more expensive speakers as I am keeping my stock amp for now. Quite impressive given that I spent half of what I planned to. It is always refreshing to deal with honest people. They carry full line of Polk speakers (the only dealer I found in Boston area) and have a lot of high end car equipment and car wheels. Very disappointed with customer services and lack of communication. I saw a Groupon for the remote start. I called the location to determine which one would be best for my car and I said the total is $150 correct? They assured me they would honor the Groupon price for the remote start, and that I didn't need to purchase the Groupon at all. I arrive to the location the day of drop long off my car and he goes oh I see we will honor the Groupon price great. So he states the Groupon was $150. I agree and left. I return and they state the total was $289! I was totally thrown off, at no time was I quoted that much for the remote start. He then begins to explain to me that the $150 Groupon is toward the installation, and that the modular and push start is extra. NEVER was this explained to me when I called to ask questions, confirmed the appointment, or at the time of drop off. The price continually stated to me was the Groupon price of $150. He tried to tell me the additional charges were laid out in the fine print of the Groupon and even that fine print was very confusing and misleading. Why even bother buying the Groupon when it doesn't save you ANY money. It's very misleading and a tricky way to get more money out of people. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and communication of this establishment, buyers beware!!! read more

Got tires mounted and paid quite a bit extra for oem pressure sensors to be put in. I was told to take the tires mount them on the truck and return and they would program them. I did just that, and the shop was unable to get them to sync with my truck. When I explained that I wanted them removed if they couldn't do it they wanted me to pay to have them removed. Been calling for three weeks now and can't even get a call back to schedule a time to get these out. The fact that they want me to pay for them to undo something that I paid for them to do in the first place because they can't do it is outrageous. Save your time and go elsewhere. Brought these guys my F350 super duty (work truck) to have my transfer tank replaced. Dropped off on a Saturday for Monday pick-up. At drop off we also added a new reverse camera and tailgate led strip to the work order. The staff were friendly and accommodating. On Monday I received a call that a mechanic had not been able to make it in and that the work would not be able to be completed until Tuesday. I expressed a need for the truck, but told them I understood and would wait to hear from them Tuesday. By about 3:00 Monday I got a call that the truck was all set and that I could pick up Monday evening. I did not press for Monday pick up. The guys at bumper to bumper took it upon themselves to go the extra mile and make sure I had my truck back. They saved me so much headache, words cannot describe how helpful it was to have the truck back for Tuesday. They even went so far as to install my new filler hose and new fuel filter for the pump. I ended up saving an additional $50 thanks to them looking out for their customers. I was expecting to pay X amount of dollars, but when they called to tell me my car was all set, they informed me that I didn't actually need the higher priced security bypass & they wouldn't charge me the extra just to make a buck.
