Sometime in December I visited this shop. I was greeted by a gentleman named Sunti. I informed Sunti of my ongoing issue with my Honda Crv. He asked me to leave my car with him which I did. Not to long after I received a text estimate with the issue regarding my car. I had a tire rod issue and, he also discovered an exhaust leak. After receiving the text Sunti contacted me to go over his findings and answer any questions or concerns. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford the repair cost, and couldn't get the work done that day. He was very understanding, and told me to bring it back to be repaired when I'm financially ready. But, for safety reasons try to get the tire rod fixed ASAP. I just wanted to leave this review because Sunti was very nice, pleasant, honest. It's very hard for a woman to get that from a mechanic nowadays. I would visit this shop again. This place is great. Very nice people here I came here due to a check engine light. Had a few problems wrong with my car but when I given options for replacement parts incase it costed too much, made me earn their trust and told me a lot about them. I found Triple 5 Motors searching for a good mechanic that can handle Lexus repairs and maintenance. Service has remained excellent over the years. But I have to tell you how extraordinary and honest Triple 5 Motor is! All my windows stopped working. I was figuring bad controls or bad wiring. Turns out it was a loose connection inside the door. It f you are looking for a honest mechanic, this is your guy! Sunti plugged it back in and there was no charge! You know that you something to be respected in the auto repair business! I'm very grateful to have such a good mechanic. On top of that Sunti also explained to me how trying to save money with non OEM parts is not a good idea. Some front end parts that are OEM are sealed and last years. Non OEM parts aren't sealed and need the grease gun regularly. But who still uses grease gun these days. The item goes un-greased and fails a few years later. So the 20% you saved on the part really wasn't a savings since the part just failed. My car started making an awful screeching noise the evening before New Year's Eve 2023, right after every auto repair place in range of the airBNB we were staying in had closed. They charged me $180 for an oil change! An oil change! My last mechanic did my oil change for $10! Ten dollars! And then they were supposed to check my brakes. This is a great repair shop in Quincy. I changed my appointment last minute and they were not difficult about it at all. I went in at 9am, they figured out what needed to be ordered and repaired, got all the parts by 11am and perfectly fixed my car window motor by 1pm. You know the saying "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree"? Well, that definitely holds true with this place. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. The co-owners are Sunti and Bert, and considering that Bert's parents operate Lime Leaf Restaurant in Weymouth, which I wrote a review on several months ago and stand by the fact that they serve amazing Thai food, well, quality service must run in the family. After dealing with shady auto mechanics forever (e.g. you take your car in for an oil change and get told that the entire transmission needs to be changed), this place is a total breath of fresh air. I brought in an SUV which only had the oil changed for the past 14 years, and I knew that it had a ton of problems. The biggest being that when driving it at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour and then tapping the brakes, the entire car would violently shake. Then there was also the entire rear suspension was shot, so even the smallest bump felt like I was bouncing my ass off the pavement. And there were a ton of other little problems. After calling around to get an idea of how much the total repairs were going to cost, I brought my car here and talked with Sunti. He gave me a fantastic quote, and then not only did he do all the work at the quote price, but he actually did more. That's how a business creates real gratitude among its customers. I've been driving the car around for the past couple of weeks, and it rides perfectly. Then my friend had a truck whose air conditioning system wouldn't work. I called around, and places were giving me quotes around $700 and up. I then brought it to Triple 5 Motors, and they explained that depending on what they found, it could range anywhere from $200 to somewhere around $1000, depending on what they found. Later that day, they called and said that it was $200, and they explained exactly what the problem was. I brought it in after they received the replacement part, and they had the whole thing fixed in a couple of hours. Final cost? $188. Now that's honesty. I asked them about Ziven D.'s one-star review, because it just made absolutely no sense based on what I saw. Folks, you can totally disregard that review. This place isn't a collision shop, and Ziven's car was brought there by accident. They tried to contact him and it wasn't until about 6 days later that he responded. Even Ziven in his review says that his car was T-boned and that that the door wouldn't shut. So, of course when it rains and snows on a car like that the interior is going to get wet. But that's not Triple 5 Motors' fault. In fact, they didn't even charge this guy a storage fee, which any other place would have done because this guy took his time moving his car to a collision shop. It's these kinds of reviews that should be deleted from a business's Yelp page because this is no different than the idiots who post one-star restaurant reviews on Yelp not because they actually went to the restaurant and actually tried the food but rather because they saw this restaurant profiled on TV. It's ludicrous. There are a lot of reasons to root for these guys to succeed. It's not just because they are fantastic and honest auto mechanics but also they are cousins and they grew up together. See, it's kind of wonderful how much you can learn by just taking a few moments to talk with people. These guys remind me of another Thai person whose business I reviewed: Pie from Norwell Thai Spa. Sunit, Bert, and Pie are the kind of honest and talented people who we should all hope to cross paths with in life. When you consider that Sunti has over a decade's-worth of experienced as a licensed Lexus technician and that Bert matches that resume as an Audi technician, well, your car is in great hands. There's also a third person there named Tony, and he not only has a long resume as an Audi technician, but he grew up and went to school with Sunti and Bert. How many times do childhood friends make a promise to start a company together and actually do it? Just fantastic. And how do I know your car is in terrific hands? Because while I was waiting to pick up my friend's pickup truck, I happened to meet Sophan who wrote a Yelp review for this place a month ago. He drives a Volvo, and he couldn't stop raving about how great Triple 5 Motors is. And listening to him talk about cars, it's obvious that he knows what he's talking about. I can't say enough great thing about this place. And they back up all their work with a one-year warranty. So, the car rides great, the pickup truck's A/C is working just in time for this heat wave, and I'm recommending this place to everyone I know. Finding a good mechanic these days is hard. Finding a skilled one that's honest, charges reasonable rates with good customer service is like finding the holy grail. I have a Volvo S60 with a pain-in-the-ass timing issue that other shops couldn't fix. Though they specialize in Japanese and German cars, they correctly diagnosed and fixed the issue. They even went out of their way to fix some other nagging problems without charging labor for it. You can't beat that kind of service. And, they personally called to explain the exact nature of the problem and consulted before going ahead with the work. Lots of shops just go ahead and do the work without getting the OK from the owner. These guys do top-notch work and take pride in it so I highly recommend them. read more

I own a 2013 Honda Accord and needed my rear brakes replaced. He assured me that they would look over the brakes and assess the situation.
