From the start, my appointment felt rushed and dismissive. When we asked the stylist about new 2026 gowns, we were told that none would be released this year. That information later turned out to be false. Since they said they have a fashion show with new gowns on their social media, which felt misleading and unfair. This was my very first time ever trying on wedding dresses, an experience that should be joyful and special. Instead, I left feeling unheard and saddened. One dress in particular made me cry and was my favorite from the beginning, yet there was clear resistance to even allowing me to try it on. I was also told by the stylist which dress I "liked best," which was completely inappropriate. As the bride, that decision should be mine alone. What made this situation worse was what happened afterward. The boutique sent us text messages stating that they decided not to move forward with my consultation or any gown options and excluded me from their runway event and giveaway. We have screenshots of these messages, which I am attaching, because they later deleted texts so there would be no proof of how unkind and dismissive they were. Thankfully, we saved the screenshots before they were removed. Additionally, we repeatedly asked to speak directly with the owner, Blanca Gonzales, and were denied that opportunity. Refusing to allow a customer to speak with ownership while simultaneously deleting messages feels extremely unprofessional and unethical. Overall, this experience was heartbreaking and far below what any bride deserves during such an important moment. Final note to other brides: please proceed with caution when booking here. I would strongly advise against Saturday appointments, as it is extremely overpacked and rushed, which takes away from the care, attention, and respect a bride should receive during such a meaningful experience.
