Beware the buyer. the plumber couldn't fix a shower valve problem , he couldn't remove the valve, cut my water pipes , and made a worse problem than I had in the beginning. After 3 hrs he handed me a bill for $468 , job not done, told me he would have to open my walls to get to the shower pipe. I called management and he would not give me a refund. When I call another plumbing company they were able to remove the valve in less than 5 minutes. and spent most of his times repairing the damage that the Titan Plumber created. I would not recommend Titan for plumbing, so upset they cost me hundreds of dollars. They take your money but don't do the job read more

Wrecked my Wellhead, they installed the pump knowing the well had high flow/pressurized. pumped failed due to the wiring being submerged. their $500 fix was so rotten, drilled holes and crammed putty around it, now it failed completely. wish I could post pictures. pump was 2 years old when it first failed, now it's toast at 5 years. ABOVE & BEYOND! I was afraid to shower. I was afraid to poop. When water barely drains, reality hits: I needed help ASAP. I called Titan the next morning, and Orville and Kess arrived within hours. The rest of the reviews give evidence of the details of their skills: Orville knew what he was doing, even with my very old plumbing and septic. It took him one day and Saturday morning to address an old house complicated problem. (The other local company that called me back said they wouldn't be able to get to me until "maybe next week".) Let me just say: BELIEVE THE REVIEWS. These folks care and were not going to leave me desparate and without working utilities. Moreover, Orville DID MORE THAN ADDRESS my septic. He helped with a few issues beyond the scope of the job, one I didn't even discover until he had gone. If you expect a company to take advantage of a single woman living alone, forget it. This is not that company. These two explained everything in great detail, every step of the way, even beyond the scope of the septic I hired them to fix. Their expertise extended to my driveway gravel repair and to a downed limb nearby. I'm going to get a filter from Titan for my spring box next. Ultimately, they care. That's the most underrated aspect of these reviews: Orville, Kess and Ted (the man who took my initial call) actually care. And as someone else has stated, the bill was well within the range of reasonable, especially given the hard work they did and the kind of work it was. I can poop and shower again ! I'm so grateful and will be calling Titan again for all of my plumbing, well and spring box / water issues in the future. Titan drilling was at my house doing a well inspection for a Buyer of said house. The buyer paid $250 for the service call. The technician found 2 bear wires and after I was contacted I said please fix the issue while the technician was still there. Well, I was charged $100 for a service call and .75 cents for the part. I spoke to Ralf and said you just charged $350 for one service call! Not right! I was then charged $50 bucks from $100. Still not right. I still feel I was totally ripped off. Please use this company if ya want to spend way too much money and don't want to feel like good customer service is in your future. Hope this company goes under. Btw, this is my first review of any business. Most are honest hard working companies. I would steer away fast from these crooks! read more

We had clay coming out of our pipes and Titan drilling were not only responsive (they called us back on a Sunday, were in on Monday when we called back in the morning that the issue was ongoing, and had installed a new filteration system by Wednesday morning) but also well versed in solutions. The guy trashed our yard, left the well open claiming that we should "get an estimate to raise it" but in reality just didn't want to fill it, broke branches on our trees with truck, cut out part of our chain link fence, tried to sell us an additional $1,200 worth of pipe for our water pump so he could "do the job faster". Cost us $2,400 all in. I thought he was rushing like crazy to not run up the hourly, but found out they just charge a flat rate per job, so wishing he had been more careful to completely demolish our yard. We called the next day, bc our water was not working again. They sent the same guy out, who got it working and then charged us $180 for the emergency visit. We've consulted a different water pump contractor who thinks it's a real possibility we didn't need the $2,400 fix as we've found another reason our water had been going out (broken sprinkler line draining our well over and over). We mentioned this to the company, but they insisted they charge us the $180 emergency rate for just checking up on their incredibly expensive and possibly unnecessary water pump replacement. We asked for an itemized receipt, but haven't gotten anything yet. read more

About 7AM, I was using the water....and the pressure started to drop.  I checked the gauge; it was down to 10PSI. The breaker had tripped, I reset it and started the pump, but the CB tripped again, dead short. History: In 2001, some time after I bought the house, the pump failed.  Lowes Plumbing (nothing to do with the hardware store chain) of Kingston replaced it for $1800.  A good Goulds stainless steel pump, 1/2HP, 230V, two wires, lightning arrestor in the pump motor, 7GPM, set down 200' A few months after the five year warranty expired, the pump failed again in 2006; this time replacing it cost $2100 from Lowes if the price goes up  $300 every 5 years, I was afraid that now, in 2021, it'd cost $3000. When I called Lowes at 8:30 AM, they said they couldn't get to me this morning.  I asked them when they could; they said it'd be a week or two.  But they gave me a number of someone else they thought might be able to get to me sooner. But I had another idea. Since the early '70's , when I came to the area, I've seen Titan Drilling way up country in Arkville (out Rt 28) doing work all over.  So I called them, they said they'd have a man to look at the situation in an hour, and gave me a ball park of under $2000. The morning's looking better. An hour and a half later, a big truck with a pump pulling folding gantry shows up with a young man in hid mid 20s and a young woman in her early 30s.  They quickly confirmed that the pump was fried using a clamp-around ammeter to measure the short amperage, and set to pulling the pump.  In about an hour and half, everything is done, quick and clean, real competence....and the bill is $1650...basically just replacing the pump and the labor. And all this was done in the rain of Hurricane Irene hitting Kingston. Fantastic.  I told them they were real country, doing honest work at a bargain price.  Smiles all around. read more

My water pressure suddenly dropped to zero at around 6 pm, about two hours after the business closed. I left a phone message briefly explaining that I had no water and would call back at 7 am when they opened. Well, at 6:30 am the next morning I received a call from Titan and was promised the repair crew would be out first thing! The team arrived as promised, diagnosed my system and found that the well pump had died and immediately installed a replacement. Both crew members were friendly, courteous, and experienced. In about two hours my water was back on. I couldn't be happier with the first rate service and recommend Titan to anyone with well issues or need for drilling. read more

Never ever in my 60 years have I written a negative review before. It's not my style but I'm compelled to do so now. I called Titan Drilling Corporation because I wanted expert advice and recommendations for a water filtration system for my house. I had been drinking bottled water since I purchased the house in 2016. Specifically because the water was often cloudy and discolored. A pinkish brown color. Sometimes with a sulfur smell. This is exactly how I described the issue. TItan came and tested the water and based on the results recommended 3 filtration systems. I opted to have them install 2 of the 3 for the time being, based on money and my immediate needs, A peroxide injection system would remove all odors and tastes associated with the sulfur in the water system and A VH200 viqua ultraviolet purification system with a standard sediment pre-filter would remove the large sediment from the water as well as any bacteria that may be present in the water system. $5000 total. A lot of money but worth it to have drinkable water. 4 month's later my water is brown again. They come and test it and tell me there's clay in the water and the only way to fix that is with another filtration system. The cost over $8000. They say that when they tested it 5 months ago there was no sign of clay so they didn't recommend that system. I'm not the expert. They are supposed to be. I just told them the symptoms and they're supposed to listen. I would have much rather spent the $8000+ and remedied the problem but instead I've spent $5000 and still can't drink the water. And all they can say is sorry. If I could give them a zero I would. read more

Before I bought my home in Delaware County the real estate listing said "dug well" but I saw the wellhead on my first visit. So I called the local big guys - Titan. I gave them the address and they were able to pull up their records showing they had drilled a 420 foot well in 1996. They were professional and I love a company that keeps their records that organized. You just know they're going to do the same thing when they actually do the work. I haven't given them 5 stars because I haven't had to use them yet myself. If the well pump ever fails I'll call Titan and then update my review. read more

Titan Drilling fixed a major problem with a well that I had drilled at my place in Ulster County by what turned out to be a shady company. In the end, I would have saved a lot of money had I gone with Titan in the first place. Lesson learned. read more

Titan drilled a well sufficient for our household use and geothermal heating in the Catskills. The water quality was poor and they designed and installed a whole-house reverse osmosis system. Service calls, including the odd emergency, have been easy to arrange. This is one fine company. read more
