He explained he had it happen to 2 other houses during covid... but not as bad as mine. The other homeowners probably saw this sooner than I did. Long story short, Chris contacted the company that made the siding.... followed up every step if the way, including ordering the siding once it was approved as warranty work, and scheduling the repairs. As soon as the siding arrived, Chris put me on the schedule the following Monday (EVEN THOUGH HE WAS GOING TO BE AWAY ON VACATION!!!). His emloyees showed up at 8 am Monday, worked all day, returned Tuesday and completed the job by lunch time. The workers were friendly and quick and they did a great job with that and so we went ahead and asked them to fix a larger problem with a leaky roof. Partway through the job, CJ himself came over and recommended that we raise up part of a roof, held up by a post on our front porch that he thought had settled down into the ground over the years. I asked how this would affect the curb appeal and he said "you won't even know we were there." The price was $2000 more than we had been verbally quoted by the foreman, and unfortunately nails left around the job caused my neighbors to have a popped tire. Chris was incredibly rude to our neighbor, he backhandedly accused her of trying to scam them, but he eventually agreed to pay for one of 2 replaced tires, and they not received a check from them. Furthermore, I had to go all around and pick up nails and shards of metal after they left to prevent further damage to my or my neighbor's cars tires. Raising the porch roof really opened a can of worms. There are gaps now between where the ceiling and siding should have met, new pieces of wood left unpainted and instead of screwing the wood pieces together tight, they left a gap and filled it in with caulk to hide the gaps. Finally, after about 3 weeks we noticed a board under our newly repaired roof had popped up, exposing a new gap in the roof big enough for rain and small critters to get into. I've called and left 3 messages for Chris and have not heard back, and am getting pretty scared that I won't hear back from them again to at minimum repair the hole in my roof. Despite initially…read moreraising my concerns and requesting them to revisit the issue, it took an excessive amount of time and multiple phone calls from me to prompt their response. Eventually, Larry from Cannon Patio and Driveway visited, but his solution was inadequate. He simply suggested sealing the areas where gravel was coming up, without addressing the sinking and discoloration of the driveway caused by regular vehicle use. They were initially hired to tear out my old driveway, regrade, level, and asphalt it. Their work was rushed and subpar. The regrading and leveling have failed, resulting in puddles forming on the driveway. Asphalt is already starting to loosen and come apart, which is unacceptable considering the amount of money I paid for their services. They provided a quote for the project, but when it came time to settle the bill, they charged a higher price. They claimed it was due to miscalculations regarding the amount of gravel needed. This pricing scheme is deceptive, and I regret not conducting thorough research on contractors before hiring them. Be careful and DYOR. Don't make the same mistake I made.

Larry came by to give an estimate for the driveway. His crew was ready in 2 days and got to work…read morequickly. When they removed some sod on the side of the driveway, Larry asked if they could put it in my back yard. Larry also said his crew would compact it down and make it level. I told him he could do that. Big mistake on my end, not only did they do a horrible job of leveling, they also left pieces of asphalt in the sod, which ended up in my backyard as well. At that time I was also having my entire backyard redone. The paver company that was finishing there work saw the sod Larry's guys threw in the back and were pretty upset, since they had already leveled the entire backyard prior to this. As for the driveway, everything was going good until the roller would not start. Instead, Larry's crew used there asphalt compactor. It worked okay, but not the same result as a roller. Another issue was the Belgium block border joints. The crew tried to make it a little fancier with the cemented joints that protrude an inch over the top and sides. It looked nice at first, but 2-3 months later 50% of the protruding part cracked off. Overall rating (1-10) Crew: 8 Larry: 6 Driveway: 7 Backyard sod placement: -1
