They trap you in a membership and make it nearly impossible to cancel, even if you've moved out of state! They refuse to take cancellations over the phone, by text, or even by email--forcing you to keep paying for something you can't use. Their customer service? Absolutely appalling. The staff is rude, condescending, and makes you feel like garbage. It's almost like they enjoy degrading their members. I regret the day I ever walked into this club. This place is a disgrace to the fitness industry and a nightmare for anyone who values respect and decent service. Run, don't walk, away from TITLE Boxing Club Fishhawk. You've been warned--this place is the definition of horrible. Save your money and sanity! Update::::: Yet again, I am requesting the elusive cancellation form that has conveniently been withheld despite my repeated, polite requests. I have scoured your website and, predictably, found no such form. It's remarkable how a company so relentless in billing its members fails to uphold even basic honesty when asked to end an unwanted service. My whole family, my wife and three daughters have been training Jiu Jitsu and MMA for more than 5 years. I don't take who my wife and daughters train with lightly. We visited many gyms in the Tampa area before deciding to join Gracie Tampa South. Now after nearly a year of training here, I feel qualified to share my assessment. The kids and teen programs are second to none. Not only do the coaches provide absolutely impeccable technical instruction, they create an environment that engages the kids, keeps them positive and motivated. My three daughters have never been more excited and motivated to train than they are at GTS. The competition program, again is exceptional, and the GTS Competition team's performance and results shows this clearly. You really have to experience how these coaches are so good at creating an awesome environment for the kids to learn all the amazing lessons that come from training Martial Arts. There is a very specific reason that this gym is such a great place. It comes from the top down. This attitude of professionalism, positivity, and the creation of such an exceptional environment to train is due to the exceptional leadership of the owner and head Coach Matt Arroyo and his family. Not only is the coaching and support staff so good, but frequently the very best MMA personalities in the world will be hosted by the GTS team. I've had more opportunities to train with World Champions in just the last year at GTS than in any other place. It's an attitude of excellence from the leader that permeates the whole gym. The traffic just getting there even during off peak hours is the only reason I don't go as much, but I would definitely recommend it! It was a little confusing in the beginning because they have different buildings so I was not sure which one actually had the class I signed up for however, after going a few times I was familiar with it. The parking is not the best. The staff is very friendly! Most of the classes are always full so it's very hard to get a spot unless you join the waitlist and hope to get in.
