Mama said knock you out! I love boxing. I first started boxing years ago when I was going to a boxing and kickboxing gym in Sammamish until it closed and since then, I always wanted to relocate to another spot. Therefore, I found Title Boxing Club! I started at Title Boxing Club last December during when my other gym was closed for in-person classes due to COVID-19. When you're used to going to a gym everyday then find yourself with limited options, it definitely brings you down. Plus for me, I work on a computer all day, so I cannot do a virtual class for my own sanity. So you can imagine how relieved I was when I found out that Title Boxing Club had outdoor boxing classes, to get around this restriction at the time. SIGN ME UP! I reached out to the owner, Andrew through Yelp who responded soon after on how to get started. I showed up for my first free class where the instructors showed me how to wrap and basic movements for boxing. I was hooked afterwards. It felt good to hit a bag again! Yet compared to the former boxing gym I went to, Title Boxing Club is much more technique focused. And many of the coaches here are actual boxers. You know you're getting the best training! Inside, the space is large enough for social distancing. Located on the upper floor of Redmond Town Center, parking is never an issue and can easily be found. There are lockers to store your items, a water fountain, a ring and weight training machines and equipment. There are showers here, but cannot be used just yet due to COVID-19 restrictions. You can also buy Title apparel, wraps and gloves or order items online from the club. Every session includes a warm-up round, eight rounds of boxing or kickboxing and ends with a core circuit. I can tell that I'm getting better each time when I box and kickbox and ultimately leave dripping in sweat! It's such an uplifting, aggressive and motivational workout each and every time. I was desperate for something boxing so I decided to give it a go. While it cannot fully replace sparring it does provide a great boxing workout as well as an opportunity to grow skills. What can i say? I absolutely LOVE it here! I practically live here! The trainers are great and so fun! I've learned a lot in the two years I've attended and it's one of the best hard hitting workouts I've ever had and so fun! They offer personal training which I highly recommend, because I do feel that good technique is so important. Not just in boxing but any workout so you don't injure yourself, but the personal training will also give you a little self-defense training as well! I know people are concerned about Covid but I feel so safe coming to class! Everyone is wearing masks and is well spaced out and after class you see them DOUSING the bags and equipment in disinfectant! I feel better here than in a regular gym! It's a much more controlled environment as far as cleanliness is concerned! They even added an air scrubber for the colder days when they will have to closed the front doors! I felt more relieved to hear about that cuz I really don't want to stop attending classes in winter! Only note is to reserve your spot early since there is a limit to each class! read more

Just do it. I tried TITLE because it was offered through ClassPass during the free trial and now this place is going to a regular workout for myself. I took Kickboxing 60 with Amanda and it was amazing. She definitely takes time to show you moves step-by-step if you need it and encourages you to go at your own pace. When I got there, Evan was at the front desk and he's so knowledgeable. He wrapped my hands and showed me all the hits I needed to know for class. Afterwards, he walked me through what memberships look like and how to best tied up my wraps so I can wash them. I schedule Amanda's class weekly and look forward to it. read more

A co-worker told me about this place and signed me up online to start the free trial. I was only able to do my first class so far, but it was absolutely AMAZING. The environment is not intimidating at all. I'm pretty fit, so keeping up wasn't hard. Even if I wasn't, the instructor Liz was great at moving around the room to make sure you were keeping up and understood all the combinations. I even kicked her by accident (sorry Liz) and she kept right on going joking that she'd been kicked by bigger than me. My experience was amazing as soon as I walked through the door. The staff was super knowledgeable. I like to learn names and give kudos to people when they deserve them. Michael is who helped me the most. I want to update this review now that they don't require masks nor proof of vaccination. Combined with bad airflow, I don't feel good about going here. I was excited about no masks, but no proof of vaccination either is a little unsafe for me, even as I am fully vaccinated. They took a sharp turn in terms of safety and health. I will be looking forward to joining again when their policy changes or the local vaccination rate is above 70%. We are not close to that right now, as to why don't feel good about them not asking for proof of vaccination. read more

It's that piece of your life you don't know is missing until you try it. I love, love, love this place. Everyone who works there is so nice and they all remember your name. Each coach brings a unique flavor so you never get the same class twice, and you can choose your experience with the different coaches. From what I've seen, all of the coaches are in it because they're passionate about what they're doing and it absolutely shows. It's the toughest workout, but you feel so good afterwards. I've walked in to the club with my entire body tensed from stress and walked out having it completely melted away. I used to workout at regular gym, and I was fine putting in my hour and going home, until I started going to Title. It's a community. It's so fun and so empowering. It's what I didn't realize was missing until I tried it. And the trainers...they're like professional body mechanics. I'm so impressed with my trainer, Patrick. He's so knowledgeable about the human body, it's amazing. He's even helped with my stomach muscle issues from having kids. I've discovered muscles in my body that haven't been used in a decade and he explains everything so well. Highly recommend him for training!! Title Boxing in Redmond is a fantastic place to workout. The facility itself is very clean and equipment (Bags/Gloves) are well maintained. On a regular basis I see staff clean and keep things in order. They have plenty of bags to accommodate large classes and I have never experienced a class being too full for me to attend. The staff is absolutely amazing, they are welcoming and make you feel like you are part of the family! I can't help but smile when I come in because everyone is so upbeat and passionate! The trainers are knowledgeable and each one has attributes that makes them unique! You will always learn new techniques and skills even if you have taken a class with someone several times. I usually attend the Seattle location but wanted to test out the Redmond location while it was closer to me at the time...... I was sorely let down. My instructor Sasha offered absolutely no tips or corrections for the proper form with either punches or kicks we threw, and I'm sure I wasn't lining up my hips correctly. She was very unenthusiastic and removed from engaging with the class, even though I was one of two people (so not enough to have her attention split). When giving instruction she rarely watched her students after demonstrating, and instead chose to stare at the clock while adding vaguely encouraging comments and demanding energy when she herself wasn't giving any. The facility itself was very clean and well maintained, which is the only reason I'm giving it 3 stars, but for anyone looking to get a more engaging and meaningful workout with instructors who genuinely care about your individual progress as well as developing your skills, go to the Seattle Greenwood gym. read more

I was sweaty, exhausted and smiling from ear to ear at the end of the session. When enrolling in our first class, there was some confusion regarding what was included at no charge in the Groupon.com deal that I had purchased for my 13 year old daughter and myself. Rather than go back and forth about it, the employee - Sarah - said "No problem"... and honored what I said the Groupon had included. However, I later noticed on my phone app in the fine print that Sarah was right... so I went back to her and admitted my mistake, getting ready to pay for the hand wraps for myself and my daughter. But she said, "No worries" and allowed us to keep the wraps at no charge anyway, a $20 gift. Really. When does that ever happen? I just got the feeling that these folks love what they do, and love where they work. Kiley (spelling?) was awesome in how she patiently took us through the basic movements of boxing and wrapped our hands for support in the gloves. Definitely a work out, especially for me, who was feeling a bit out of shape, but we learned a lot about the technical work of boxing, and that made it all worth it. Summary: Boxing wise OK. Cancellation is painful. Details: When you talk about cancellation they will lure you by suggesting you to freeze your account and come back later at a very small fee. I bet everyone might be taking it. Then when you realize you can not join due to your other commitments, and you notify them you want to cancel the membership, they will process the cancellation immediately and charge you for 1 month citing notice period is minimum 1 month. So for them its a good profit(1 month cancellation+ all these months account freezing fees). I had asked them over email if there was a fee for cancellation, but never got a response and after realizing they charged me,when I called, on phone they lied me that they have not got any questions from me as such. Had I known they will charge 1 month fees for the cancellation of a frozen account, I would have planned accordingly. In their contract they have not mentioned anything about cancellation policy for a frozen account, still they charged me. read more

I was hesitant at first about a boxing gym, but I can honestly say that I'm a fan now! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, from the first time I walked in to just inquiry about the gym and classes. The day of my free introductory class, I joined after the class. It's fun and invigorating. Even though I may not get the combos right at first, I don't feel self-conscious about it and the coaches are great about coming around and helping you until you get it. The facility is clean and there are showers and restrooms available. I also got my husband to join! This is a great cardio workout for sure! Let's just start by saying. I LoVe this place! I have gone to a lot of group workout classes and this particular location blows everything else away. Staff: the staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. They also remember you and make you feel appreciated. I have been to a lot places where they barely take the time to help you sign in. Facility: the facility is really clean and well maintained. You can always see the staff wiping things down and tidying up in between classes. They have enough bags to accommodate bigger classes and I have never run into a problem with not being able to have a bag. They do have showers bathrooms water fountains and lockers. Classes/coaches: I must admit the first class I was a blur. I am new to boxing, never done it before in my life. You start out with a warm up, then there is boxing rounds and last but not least abs. The coaches take the time to come around and help you out if they see you are struggling. Each coach is unique and brings their own qualities. Tips: come a little early to wrap up your hands or if you are New the staff will help you. Try and take each coaches class. Each coach has a different style and tips to give during class. I just hit my 35th class and and I never dread going knowing that each class/trainer has their own style and every class is going to be a little different but always intense and a fantastic workout. I had a great experience with this boxing club until I wanted out! I moved out of the area and needed to cancel my membership, they refused to work with me, the owner stated that it was "in the policy" that you have to cancel in person. As someone who has worked in gyms, this was a false claim as there is ALWAYS something you can do. The team member Nichole had even emailed me forms to put my account on freeze when I didn't come in for a few months. A similar form was used when I walked in to cancel, why my presence was needed I'm unsure. I've been looking for a good boxing studio for the past year on the Eastside and finally found the spot. Great for those with experience or if you've never thrown a jab, cross, hook. Every class instructor is great, friendly and encouraging. You will sweat a lot. As a member you can walk in and pretty much take any class which is awesome if you're a diehard about the sweet science. The staff is friendly and the owner Andrew is accessible. I thought this was going to be a great place until I went to one of Nicole's classes. she ignored me and did not help at all. When I walk in she looks the other way. I believe I did not say anything and rarely talk to her. I don't know what I could do to get someone to not even help when I obviously needed help. This gym is wonderful. The staff are friendly, welcoming and make you feel right at home from the very start. Classes are designed to accommodate all skill levels from novice to expert, so even though I had never boxed before, I didn't feel self-conscious.
