I've never enjoyed working out as much as I did here, and it completely changed how I think about fitness. The small class sizes make such a difference you really get personalized attention. The instructors take the time to give helpful corrections and make sure you're moving safely, which is something I haven't experienced as much at other studios. I've actually been able to apply what I learned here to other workouts, and I can see a huge improvement in both my form and results. Some of my favorite classes were Flow 1.5 and Control 1.5 (I only wish there were more Control 1.5 classes on the schedule!). The instructors Ahram, Jennifer, Bethany, Rachel, and Samantha are all AMAZING. They each bring so much energy, encouragement, and knowledge, and it really shows in every class. Bella, the studio manager, has also been incredibly kind and helpful, especially when it came time to cancel my membership. One of the best perks for me was the variety of class times offered throughout the day, which was perfect since I work from home. The only thing I'll note is that if you prefer morning classes, they can fill up quickly, especially with certain instructors. The membership is definitely an investment, but for me, it was so worth it to learn reformer Pilates in such a welcoming and supportive environment. Overall, I had such a great experience at Club Pilates Burlington and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn Pilates in a fun, motivating, and safe space! They have a good number of cardio machines and weights along with a back room where you can watch work out programs (we really like this feature and have used it a few times). They also have bathrooms with showers (male and female). It's generally pretty quiet so we rarely have a hard time getting machines. The only reason I am docking them a star is because of their staffed hours. I understand they cannot be staffed 24/7, and I've personally never had a problem, but on a few occasions my boyfriend and I have been in the gym and noticed people loitering outside. On one occasion we left and the gentleman outside (who had been waiting outside for around 25 minutes) asked us if there was anyone inside and we said no. This was a Saturday and apparently he had called and they said they would be there from 11-3 (same hours posted on the door), but there it was 2:00 and no one was there. A similar event happened on another Saturday but it was earlier in the day, around 11:45 when we left the gym (again hours said 11:00-3:00) but no one was there. The poor guy had waited outside for quite some time and had obviously gone out of his way (we saw him go to his car, we can luckily walk over), only to find that no one was there to show him around/sign him up. Saturdays are obviously a busy day for sign ups/inquiries because a lot of people probably work late on weekdays and can't make it over. I think it would be a good idea to post signs on the door if the place won't be staffed as promised. Otherwise great gym! Maybe call ahead before you head down to sign up and make sure that someone will actually be there, though it seems they leave early sometimes so you never know?

It's 10x better than a chiropractic adjustment and I left standing taller, feeling less tight, and having more range of motion. Ryan was also very communicative and let me know verbally what he would do before placing hands on me, both so I could get educated on the reasoning behind the stretch and also to be respectful of boundaries. I definitely appreciated that. I'm a huge fan of bodywork in any form (say hello to my Massage Envy membership), and I'm glad to add StretchLab to the mix. When I don't workout on Monday, I actually miss it and I feel off. I'm so grateful to all the women (both staff and members) for making this a friendly, non-intimidating gym atmosphere.
