I was laid off in early March and more recently have been grateful enough to begin work again. During that time I was unable to make my car payment due to the current global pandemic "The Coronavirus" or "Covid 19." Fast forward to June I am back to work and "Arrow Finance" is expecting a payment in which I agreed to pay. I recently set up a new bank account and set it up for auto bill pay. I was to pay them each month with the 1st payment to be paid on the June 24th. Well my direct deposit going to my new account was unsuccessful as it does sometimes take a couple checks before it goes through. I did still plan to pay them regardless, but regretfully it slipped my mind, I mean I'm only human. Now the July 1st two people from a tow service knock on my door explaining my car is being repossessed. I try to tell them what happened and that I had the funds on me to please let me pay now. I understand they were doing their job and they have to take the vehicle regardless. But the manner in the way they went about it was disturbing but I'll get into that later. After I reached out to "Arrow Finance Company" the picture became clear of what kind of company I was dealing with. I called to try to explain my situation asking why no one has even reached out to me to let me know they were going to repossess my car. Especially when I had spoken with someone at "Arrow Finance" earlier in the month and gave them my updated phone number. A lady by the name of Cindy replied with this, "I don't care, it's not my problem, you should pay your bills on time." I was disgusted and I hung up the phone on her. Of course the next day I receive two letters in the mail from "Arrow Finance" exclaiming the repossession. So, yesterday I go to retrieve my car back from "Arrow Finance" and everything seems to be okay expect the amount owed went from $520.00 to $1,136.27 draining any money I had at all. Then this morning on my way to work I notice my brakes are grinding like metal which was not doing that before. It dawned on me, when the two tow truck drivers came to my home to take my car I remember I was upset and at first I would not relinquish my keys to them. In an effort and I'm assuming some kind of cruel joke they decided to put my car in park and start pulling away with my tires grinding and screeching while laughing. I ran out to handover the keys that's when they stopped moving their tow truck. **Fact I have neighbors as witnesses and pictures of this incident to prove it. So, when finally speaking to a manager, I began the conversation friendly trying to explain my situation. Then again the call is more disturbing than the last. The entire time I am trying to speak, the manager is speaking over me. He refused to listen to anything I was telling him. He said that he knows the way this business operates and that my being laid off was not an excuse for not paying my bill. As for my brakes grinding he said, "how do I know if it wasn't like that before and that your telling me the truth?" This is when I had enough of the way they have treated me like I'm some kind of criminal. I told the manager I don't believe I should have to pay for new brakes considering their tow truck drivers did this as a cruel effort to get my keys. He chuckled and said, "there's nothing I can do for you. Is there anything I can help you with?" I again was in shock and just hung up the phone, after using some profanity I'm not proud of. The reason I am writing my story is because I want everyone to know how "Arrow Finance" treats their customers even worse during such divesting and unprecedented times. Please I urge anyone please do not use this company. They represent hate and demoralization which is what all of us are so conscientiously trying to fight against in today's world. I empathize with the individuals out there who have had to experience their belittlement and abuse. Peace and love to everyone out their fighting. Be safe.

I called Arrow to find out exactly how much I owed and basically see how they expected me to pay all this back if they keep accruing interest and I was told to shut up by an office manager and Kelly told me I should've paid my bills in the first place......so nobody in this office had gone through hard times or any of that.....Kelly and whoever the office manger is that told me to shut up everybody is not a deadbeat and doesn't deserve to get talked to like that and I never would have cussed at Kelly if she wouldn't have been so rude because you get what you give out. This whole company and all of its employees are sad and probably live the most miserable lives

Kita was working in the office and the other 2 were working at the teller windows. I sat there hoping to get seen. Did I make an appointment? No. Did I stand in line for the teller to see how I would get helped? No. I sat right outside of Kita's office. There was a VERY large line waiting for a teller apparently there was a problem with the debit cards they sent out. So everyone who has an account there (or so it seemed) had to come in and get a new card. I felt bad for the patrons and also for the tellers. I sat there for a while. (My fault - I didn't have an appointment.) I was hoping that when it died down someone could assist me. While I sat there I could hear Kita laughing, watch Angelina patiently listen to an older gentleman explain AGAIN (even though she heard him the first time) and Vesna very politely explain to a woman that masks were required to be helped even though the woman kept stating "this is stupid", "they don't help you know, they only end up hurting you". These 3 women ran around crazy trying to take care of everyone politely and as quickly as they could. Angelina did eventually get me a loan letter. A loan with a very nice rate. It ended up taking about 20 minutes. I was really stressed that morning. I had company coming to my house and I didn't want to buy a new car I HAD to buy a new car which means I had to acquire a loan. Ugh. Before I left Kita hugged me and told me everything was going to be fine. (Yeah, I was a mess.) It seemed like their positive attitude calmed me down a bit. Later that day my company came and went and I ended up buying a new (to me) vehicle. Today is Monday, November 15th. I had to go back to the Credit Union. I bought a car but the company kind of put me through the ringer. The number on the title was wonky, they MADE me take out a loan with them even though I was already approved with Together and they told me I had 3 days to get them a check paying it off or I would have finance charges. This time I was smart. I scheduled an appointment. The earliest I could get in was 11:30. I was there until 3:15. Kita is amazing. She was patient - she had to clean up the mess the car place put me in and even when I had forgotten to tell her that the car place had also given me the wrong term - so she had to fix that, which subsequently locked up her computer and forced her to have to call several people for assistance she was still kind. We joked about how we were now good friends. Angelina the branch manager (?) came in twice to check on us. Kita was needed elsewhere and at one point she had to help with a broken change machine. BUT, lucky for me Kita believes in customer service and took care of me before she let me leave. Honestly, she is a friend - I can think of a couple that would have brushed me off after an hour. Angelina came in at the end and apologized which was really sweet of her and probably part of her job but seemed to really mean it and honestly, I felt bad because if I hadn't told Kita after the fact about the term being incorrect her computer wouldn't have shut down and I would have freed Kita up to help others (& to have lunch cuz she worked through hers). I see that others may have had trouble with Together but maybe it's because you didn't get one of these 3 women to help you. I think they deserve a 2nd chance. Even today people were crabby and angry about the cards and I get it. It would be frustrating. I mentioned to Kita that they really needed some sort of sign in and she said that they had one but everyone coming in mainly had card issues so they removed it temporarily. That being said...that is why they get a 4 out of 5 star rating. I still think that if a sign up was there and a sign that says "card issues - see a teller all others sign in" it would work. But I don't work there and they know it better than I do. Bottom line - I am thinking about moving all my banking there instead of just a savings account.
