Ileya even with the help of her fingers, couldn't figure out that 180 days was six months. A full three months away from being invalid. So she said she had to call her boss, I said OK. She looked at my check from Southwest gas like it was written in crayon said she was gonna have to call and verify. I said OK. I was forced to ask for my check back when she switched to Spanish to talk shit about me right in front of my face to her manager. When I called her out on it told her I understood she doubled down and began interrogating me as to why I had thrown away one of my checks. I explained it was none of her business but that the check was only worth $1.50 and the minimum fee was $2.99. She then forcefully demanded to know why I wanted the other check back , I let her know it was because of her behavior. Do not go here They do not know what customer service means . The place is dirty.

There is no way to pay your monthly payment online and they just started charging a fee for debt and credit card payments over the phone or in person without notifying current customers or disclosing it on their web site. I'll be paying off my loan in full ASAP with a credit card to avoid any more shady surprises and the predatory APR.

The app and website are down way too much and phone calls for technical support after hours? A robot that can only offer to change your password. And despite having direct deposit for over 25 years...they told us a couple months ago that we didn't qualify for online check deposits on the app because we didn't do enough business through the account. This despite having paid off three car loans with them. One as recently as last year. It was really nice to walk into a branch and be recognized and called by name and to reach a human being when a phone call was necessary. We are looking at ending our longstanding relationship with what we see as a much changed business.

I got a loan in February. My first title loan and representative was very niche. The account link…read morenever worked, and although I did email a couple of times, I never got a response. The payments went out of my account like clockwork twice a month. After never getting a response and still not being able to create an account, I called. Then, I was sent to tech to work it out. Then, I discovered accounts don't work on laptops and don't work well on T-Mobile. How shocked was I to discover that while I had paid over 900 on a 1000 loan, I still owed 1000 (give or take a few dollars)? The process was relatively easy, and I got the loan. But don't make the mistake I did. Let the loan be paid off through the automatic setup because the payment fees and interest add up daily. You will end up paying 3x more than you borrowed. In my case, after 4 and 1/2 months, I have paid twice the amount! It is a very convenient service if you intend to pay it off in a few days but way more than a credit card!

Story time Back in…read more2016 I was in the army and wanted to get a motorcycle. I was approved by Hughes payment a month was $120 and it was a 4-year loan $4,500 loan. After being late you get hit with a $375 fee and after paying on the bike for 3 years I still owed $3,400. I was told that because I was late almost 11 times that I had over $3,000 close to $3,000 worth of fees. I tried to request some of the fees get waived so that I could pay off the bike and they said no. I requested papers showing my payment history and also showing all the fees that I've been hit with and they never sent me a bank statement. The app used also didn't allow for you to have a statement for the fees. Always since 2016 until today they marked on my credit late payment even though I gave the bike back in 2019. They also used the motorcycle as the last payment date so that they can push out. The last time I made a payment cannot be used. And for the last almost 10 years to 7 years, I have not been able to get approved for anything because Hughes Federal Credit Union has continuously marked my account as late payment even though I have not had the motorcycle since 2019. If anyone tells you that this is a good company or bank to go with, you should put your hands up and get ready to fight that person. Not only were they not helpful when I was getting out of the military regarding to payments or hardship, but they wouldn't even move a finger to help a disabled vet in hard times. These people are loan sharks who prey on young stupid vets to into forever loans, I should've known better but it's been almost 7 years of not being able to progress in life because of my own mistake. Not all them but they sure as hell didn't help in the least
