She proceeded to tell me that it would take 5 HOURS and the total cost would be $420.00. I am currently 4 months pregnant, and I asked her if there were any precautions I should take. She told me to hold one moment while she asked JULY. JULY said VERY LOUDLY in front of the salon with other clients, "I have been pregnant before (points to her children), and nothing has happened to me; it's not true." The stylist was nice and continued my cut, and I told her I couldn't stay for 5 HOURS but if I could come back next week and have it done. She asked for a $50 deposit and made the appointment. I had a prenatal appointment that Monday and told my doctor about the hair appointment I was to have, and he told me to wait until after my pregnancy because my pregnancy was already high-risk. So I called the stylist and let her know that with the deposit I gave, I could have a different procedure done that didn't involve hair dye. She put me on hold to ask July; she returned to tell me that July said No because she had been pregnant and had dyed her hair, and nothing happened. I was shocked that she didn't care about my doctor's recommendations. And my deposit was LOST. I asked to talk to JULY, and she denied my call. I called the salon, and she did not want to take my call. Frustrated, I explained the situation to some colleagues, and they began to show me how the price was a rip-off and that a balayage does NOT take that long, and neither does it cost that much. She was charging more than DOUBLE what it cost in a REAL PROFESSIONAL salon.

I wanted to get a curly perm so i went to my fav salon which was full and i really wanted to get…read morethis hair do. i seen another salon in the same lot JULY's. it was empty so i walked in. i asked how much a perm would cost and one lady just stared at me like i was a f.king wierdo another girl actually helped me. so i decided to get this done and waited to see who would assist me. the first girl said rudley im not gonna do it and continued to blow dry her own hair. after 40 minutes the curles were rolled up and then the perm procedure started and the fluid was leaking onto my face and i continuesly had to wipe from my face. thats when i was like wth is going on. after we went to rinse i noticed that the mothaf.ker buned my face with the chemicals i was soooo furious on top of that she did not want to style my hair and sent me out with dripping wet and cold hair. now the perm sucks most of my hair is still str8 and alot of my hair was damaged and i have scars on my face from the carelessness of this woman. not professional at all . i seriously doubt she and the other braindead girls should have any beauty certificates. they look at you wierd when you speak about how you would like your hair and always recommened styles that are easier for them cause they cant do half of what is in the books. dont go here sucks. will only care if you are a man so they can flirt and touch all over you. if you are a girl they will play the not it game. 1 star cause u cant give 0.

You know the drill if you are natural they consider us high maintenance & a lot of work. Never gave me that vibe. Everyone was nice, clean salon, Julio Iglesias & relaxing Spanish music playing. I got a wash & set, my deep cond., slight blow of roots totaling $35. They had Una products and other name brand conditioners. Respected I was sensitive to heat. I will come again. It was an actual quiet soothing experience. No loud talking or attitudes between the ladies. Sometime the salon vibe is important and I enjoyed my experience.
