Why is there only one register open? Dollar Tree has lost some of its charm as hardly anything is just $1. The area has gone down so unfortunately the store is a bit affected. I feel the woman in her 60s working the register has checked out and mentally gone home. She's not very friendly and is just there to grab a check. As for selection, this store specializes in cheap party supplies and picnic fare. I only came in here to get cash back.

Throughout our time in the store, the cashier, Valeria, appeared to closely monitor us while we shopped. As customers of color, we felt singled out and uncomfortable. While we cannot speak to her intentions, the experience left us feeling unwelcome. When we went to check out around 12:15 p.m., Valeria began our transaction but unexpectedly transferred it to another cashier, Patrick, without explanation. The checkout process took longer than expected, and my mother was accidentally overcharged. Although the issue was eventually corrected, the communication between the employees seemed unprofessional and added to our frustration. Afterward, we asked to speak with a manager. We were told the manager was on lunch, so we waited about 15 minutes. Later, when my mother called the store, she was informed that the manager would not return until 1:30 p.m., information that was not shared with us when we initially requested assistance. The inconsistent communication only added to our concerns about customer service. While waiting, we observed behavior that appeared dismissive of our concerns. An assistant manager eventually spoke with my mother, but while we were contacting Dollar General's corporate office, both the assistant manager and Valeria appeared to laugh about the situation. Whether intentional or not, it gave the impression that our concerns were not being taken seriously. What bothered us most was the overall feeling that we were treated differently and not given the same level of courtesy and respect that every customer deserves. The combination of being closely watched while shopping, the checkout issues, poor communication, and the response to our complaint left us with a very negative impression of this location. Because of this experience, my mother and I have decided not to return to this store. We hope management reviews this situation and provides additional customer service training to ensure all customers are treated professionally, respectfully, and fairly.

I anticipated an expensive price tag but they are not. I bought a cute shirt. I am not a purse girl.... but they have purses in here. Whilst chatting with the young lady I found out they are a nonprofit place. I didn't get into what for because my husband was standing outside waiting for me with both dogs we were walking. I would definitely come back here to shop again. Cute stuff, good service, and very clean.
