Very shady business. The owner is aggressive and changes his mind a lot. He kept saying things that didn't make sense, like he sells the couch we wanted for 3000+, but offered to us for 2100 because the guy he gets his merchandise from owed him money? Eventually he pressured us into buying it, saying he would raise the price if we didn't make a deposit on the spot. It arrived the wrong shape and didn't fit our living room. We decided to swallow the hefty return fee and send it back. He refused. At one point he even tried to take the couch and keep our money. Then he threatened to call the cops if we didn't pay the delivery fee. Eventually he agreed to honor the return and said he would come back. Turns out he was just trying to get rid of us. He called back to say I'd have to take him to court or leave him alone. I should have trusted my gut and stayed away. So should you. read more

I am so glad we did, they had a good selection and options from a catalog as well. Prices were extremely fair, the customer service was excellent. Antonio and his wife Maria we're extremely nice and helpful. They helped with loading the table in our small suv and help take the table legs off and made sure we didn't forget anything. The people here want to sell you furniture...it's a furniture store...they push all items. The store owners are very knowledgeable and super helpful. Mom was super happy with the two chairs to use after she arrived from hospital. The one chair she has was very comfortable but too comfortable. She fell out of chair a couple times. So, she decided on another chair and I bought one of the originals from her, for myself. They gave her a very good discount on the third chair. It was a chair that assisted her to stand up for her walker! So very nice, but she complained it was too cold...mom, stop it! She could not wait for one to be delivered in 5 days so she bought the floor model. They gave her free delivery for all three chairs. But, mom was not very happy. I asked her to place a covering on the chair which helped her with the cold feeling she had. The owners were very friendly and so helpful. Mom will be back but it's difficult to please the elderly sometimes...I give this place a 5! read more

Deceptive Seller Practices: They TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ELDERLY customers. STAY AWAY. Duran's furniture KNOWS that older customers are more trusting and often they will "Settle" for whatever is pushed on them, even when the order is NOT what was paid-for. This is what happened to my mother. She specifically picked a couch AND make a specific color choice from their catalogue. She was sent something completely different in style AND color, and then Duran's insisted that this is/was what she ordered. The couch that was delivered was manufactured OVER 2 Years Ago, and yet this was supposed to have been ordered from a current furniture catalogue. Duran has NOT made good on their "Deceptive Practices", and has refused to refund the purchase price. FIVE months later, I have had to step in to help my mother, who, like many was ready to give up due to the extreme stress and frustration in getting nowhere. In short, Duran's Furniture Company uses deceptive tactics to sell furniture, and if you do decide to use them, MAKE sure You get EVERYTHING in writing (and make copies of EVERYTHING) , and don't accept any delivery that is NOT what you paid for. Don't be tricked by the delivery people who tell you to sign, even if your product is wrong. My mother signed for the furniture, even though she told the delivery personnel that the color and style was wrong. They told her that she was ONLY signing for a delivery and NOT signing for acceptance of the product itself. SO, even the delivery personnel they use are liars too. Duran's Furniture, STAY AWAY... They KNOW that elderly people are more trusting and can easily be manipulated in to taking delivery of product that isn't what was ordered. read more

I recently purchased a table from Duran's and they ended up delivering me a table on display which was missing parts and it was unsteady you can tell it was being used because the bottoms of the legs were all scratched up and dirty. The bench is missing the bottom piece that holds it steady. And the guy working there told me I had 30 days to return. Now when I called the store a girl named Maria answers and says they don't do returns seems like this store doesn't have communication between their employees. She was rude over the phone and doesn't want to take the merchandise back and give me my money back. And also if you signed up with them through snap finance don't do it because they told me it would be going into my credit and I found out by another store that snap doesn't do that. So the employees there will just lie their way into you buying their merchandise. And are taking advantage of people during this time. With the crisis of covid-19 going on. Their merchandise is way OVERPRICED I found the same table for about $400 and they charged me $651.41 which is from the same manufacturer. I'm highly disappointed in this store and rude employees. They need to work on their customer service read more

Recently moved to Hemet. Needed to furnish my new home. The lady, I believe her name is Maria, was so pleasant over the phone. I explained to her exactly what I was looking for and my budget and she was able to tell me and describe the different options I could go for. She was so nice to also give me prices and delivery timeframes. I went ahead and visited the place as well. They have a great variety of furniture for me to try out. :) I am huge on customer service and expect nothing but the best (since I am paying for it) and they were amazing. This store practices very shady and underhanded business dealings. They will "sell" you your items of choice, when in actuality you are placed on a lease to own contract. The leasing company will then charge you more than double of what you agreed to in the store. I returned my "purchase" to the leasing company. Never again will I deal with this company. read more
