    Quick in and out

Went in for a pair of earrings, got some sort of what I wanted but customer service is iffy. I was in the jewelry section for at least 20 mins and 2 reps was there. I was greeted and they continued on. No one offered to help me narrow my selection down. Selection of clothes is not much. Gave them 3 stars because the wait to check out was not long on a Saturday which is great! Not the best to go to if you want variety but if you need something quickly, your best bet.

TjMaxx is the store where you are going to find the best deals in that area. It is big and they have a little bit of everything: clothes, accessories, beauty, deco, international food... some shoes (but there are more shoes options at Nordstrom Rack in towncenter). Definetly they have very good deals in clothes and bags (they have some runway bags as well but you might find better prices online). A lot of beauty products, recently I bought some face masks. Déco selection is okay, I also bought bath towels, bed sheets and cooking pots very cheap with good quality. During covid face masks are mandatory. I found there is less stock in general, maybe there will be more volume the new autumn season. I wish the building was more modern and parking has more light, it is quite dark at nights and on winter.

This TJ Max has better items then some of the other TJ's in the area. But this store has better designer clothes, shoes and purses such as Balenciaga and St. Laurent. Still very expensive but less then getting it from the actually store. As other TJ's you do have to take your time and look through the stuff to find your deals and steals. Clothes and shoes are organized by size so that's a good thing. Great housewares stuff too!

    Cute wall art inside.

I looooveeeee this TJ Maxx. It's amazing. It is the largest TJ Maxx I've ever seen. There are tons and tons of isles of home goods. They have a huge kitchen area with plates, spices, bowls, napkins, pots and pans, etc. They have a large wall art and lamp area as well as a wall of rugs you can pick through. They have large mirrors, furniture, pillows, bedding, and towels. They have a pet area with toys, bowls, beds and other goodies. I love also their decorative accents of which there are TONS! I can spend forever walking up and down the isles looking at the fake flowers, picture frames, candles, and nautical accessories. They also have bath supplies, shoes, clothes, etc. So much fun to stop in and shop the goodies. I can always find things I want in here.

The lady at their jewelry section was not that nice today. I've never seen her there. She has a gorgeous makeup but is not friendly. She doesn't smile. After I checked some jeweries, I saw that she threw them back in the case roughly. I said, 'Thank you.' But she did not say anything. How rude! So I didn't purchase anything today. They were not busy then. She missed two VIP customers today. Lol I'll go back there again but I hope somebody different will be there then.

I arrived just before 11 a.m. on a Sunday morning. Surprisingly there was a group of people already waiting on the curb and in the fire-lane (eager shoppers). There weren't very many people there but by the time I left there were at least 50 customers. I was able to navigate the aisles easily and everything was open and clean. My recommendations for the ladies is to always check out the handbags, shoes, and active wear for great deals. Hidden gem I saw a very expensive tea length designer wedding dress for around 200 dollars. The luggage is priced pretty decently with a variety of brands, colors, and styles available. I LOVE the kitchen section and must do my best to exhibit self control among those aisles. My cashier thanked my by name for shopping with them. I like that personal touch. FYI: I believe they open at 9:30 everyday except Sunday.

This is my favorite location out of all of them in the area. It's like the Super Walmart of TJMaxx/Home Goods because it's your one-stop shop! You can outfit yourself from head to toe here, create an entire meal all the way from appetizers to desserts, decorate and furnish your entire home and office, AND supply your beloved four-legged fur baby with everything it needs! It might look sketchy when you drive up to it because the parking lot isn't the best but it is quite large and fairly clean. Employees here are honestly hit or miss. Some are super friendly and helpful while others have zero personality and avoids eye contact at all costs. It doesn't matter what day of the week I come, or what hour, there is almost always a long line. About 95% of every visit. But here's some good news; they work quick! It's not like Walmart where they have 20 registers and only 2 working. No, not at this TJM/HG. For that, I am super grateful. If you see something large or heavy that you decide to purchase, they are pretty good about getting it for you and they even help load it up in your vehicle. More than a dozen occasions occurred where I randomly and unexpectedly found pieces that were too big for the vehicle I drove that day so they offer to hold it for you behind the register or in the back if they have to until you return to retrieve it. This is my 2nd happy place (first one is a tie between Kirkland's & Pier 1) and if there's one piece of advice I can give you, it's this: IF YOU LIKE IT, BUY IT! Because...I'll probably buy it and you'll be missing out and pissed when you go back for it and it's gone! Ha!

    What the... Only 800 bucks
    Kris D.

** What the h___? Only 800 bucks! ** A sentence of history, TJ Maxx, Homegoods, and Marshalls all merged to become one company a few years back. Most locations in the area are simply "TJ Maxx (Mostly clothing), but this location is a "TJ Maxx/Homegoods" which has alot more of the square footage devoted to a various assortment of home furnishings. Now I am a dude, so I really don't to much shopping in places like this. But... Recently I was looking for a couple small cabinets to put into a room I am redecorating, and Homegoods had what I was looking for at a nice price. --- Most interesting item I saw by far was a metal horse, reared on its hind legs. That joker is about 18 foot tall. Only 800 bucks. Word is if you buy it, they will help you load it onto the top of the family wagon...

I love this TJ Maxx, actually called Home Goods because they have a deluxe housewares section. It's huge. Carpets, furniture, decor stuff, framed art, lots of kitchen gizmos and dishware. They also have clothes and accessories like your regular TJ Maxx. I love their handbag section. I've gotten a couple of killer bags there. This shopping center (London Bridge Shopping Center) is kind of sad and depressing, but don't let that scare you away. There are treasures to be found inside.

I love TJ Maxx! I can spend over an hour at this store just looking at their inventory! This store is huge and my only complaint is that there is just too much stuff to look at and because of the quantity of items, they tend to be a little disorganized. My favorite section is the pet section which has plenty of shampoos, wipes, dinnerware, beds, blankets, toys, pet themed home decor etc to look at. The home decor is vast with items in every budget. Like any department store, they've got a selection of clothes, handbags, shoes etc. but I think most people come for the home decor, kitchenware, pantry foods & snacks which seem to gear towards those who like to entertain. BUYER BEWARE! You will definitely leave with more items than you intended to buy walking in. And what I love about these stores is that there is always something different week to week and store to store! Happy shopping... don't say that you haven't been forewarned!

Sometimes there is confusion with other Hilltop stores at the intersection so keep in mind there is signage. The Shops at Hilltop are located on the Southeast corner off the intersection of Laskin and First Colonial. All the shops are collectively known as The Shoppes of Hilltop. However, the break it down by East and West. Customers have one access point off First Colonial and three off Laskin. If there is a drawback it's the bottleneck on the First Colonial side during rush. I have never had an issue with parking. The lot can be a bit hit or miss on debris. They do have a few security guards that patrol. I have never felt unsafe. The stores I frequent the most are Fruitive, Fresh Market, Bottlecraft, Bakers Crust, Cobalt Grille, Tino and Nectar. A few more in between as there are a lot of stores. My family enjoy the Shoppes at Hilltop and I would recommend working them in your rotation. Many are local businesses which is more reason.

I've brought family and friends here, had date nights for my birthday or anniversaries or special occasions, and come here to carb-load before running weekends. There is a Nothing Bundt Cakes here and they have the best cakes I've ever had so I always stop to get these for special occasions and they're the only cakes I want for my birthday. There is a Chico's here which now also sells Soma Intimates from their sister brand. There is also a shop right beside Chico's which exclusively sells Lily Pulitzer clothing and has some seriously gorgeous and colorful and fun clothing inside. Some of the spots have changed on and off throughout the years: a coffee shop, bridal shops (this is where I got a stunning wedding dress for my 2015 wedding). Parking is easy, there is plenty, and it's always immaculate. This is a great spot with some nice, niche shops and Aldo's is one of my favorite local restaurants. Service is always excellent and food is top notch! The only issue is the access roads off Laskin, but they're working on those and hopefully all will be better in coming years.

I appreciate that they consistently explain the policy so customers know the rules upfront. This past weekend, I went shopping with my mom on Saturday. On Sunday she asked me to return a pair of earrings because the closure wasn't secure. I went back to the store with the item and the receipt about 15 minutes before closing. When I brought the item to the counter, the interaction started with some not-so-inviting remarks. I asked the associate helping me if there was an issue returning jewelry, and she said there wasn't but that she needed to check the receipt because of the strict policy. Before she even looked at my receipt, another employee with reddish hair stepped in and said they had to be careful because people "try to get over all the time." At that point, my receipt still hadn't even been reviewed. I firmly explained that my mom had asked me at the last minute to return the item and that I really didn't want to come back out, but because of their policy she wanted to make sure it was returned within the timeframe. The other employee responded sarcastically, saying, "Well, your mom is right." The associate who was originally helping me then completed the return without any issue. Afterward, I quickly checked out at one shop and headed out since the stores were closing. As I walked toward the door, I could hear the same employee loudly expressing her frustrations, and when she noticed me she immediately stopped and turned away. I completely understand why a business like this needs to have a strict return policy, and I respect that. However, the commentary and assumptions made during the process were unnecessary. A simple, professional interaction would have made the experience much more pleasant.
