As far as the shoes here go: shrug. It has an assortment of decent shoes if you break the shoes you're in and need to grab one on the run. I wouldn't expect anyone to compare this store with a more upscale collection. It a large place and well lit with plenty of parking but the quality is average. On the plus side is that the cost is low. Customer service is good and friendly for a big box style store. read more

This store is in serious need of some employee training. Within the 20 minutes I was inside today, I witnessed multiple interactions that were inappropriate, as well as other instances where staff was unsanitary. As we were checking out, one of the cashiers was complaining about each customer as they left her register. I heard her complain about how much she hates when customers don't speak English and I heard her call another customer entitled. Unfortunately, she did not have her name tag on. In addition, another staff member was using the restroom and was verbally swearing. She was in the stall for over 5 minutes and then left without washing her hands. There are many other Marshall's and TJ Maxx locations nearby that I will frequent instead. read more

If you are coming to shop while the tourists are here, good luck. Mens clothes are only a third of the store, and not a big selection. When the tourists are visiting, they act like a bunch of rabid monkeys throwing stuff on the floor and just putting things back in a disorganized fashion. Hence, why "The Cape" is glad to see them leave. read more

The selection and prices are great. If you need a unique and quality gift this is the place to go. Clothes, shoes, housewares, linens, dishware, novelty items all at discount prices. This store is just even fun to walk through!!!! read more

Completely disappointed. I thought this location would have a bunch of stuff like other locations, but sadly I was wrong. Scare shoe selection with styles from the early 1990's, one plus size rack and the jewelry selection was alright, but nothing to run home about. I traveled over to men's to see if I could at least find a few workout tees but nope. Luckily there are other stores in the area, because this travesty brought tears to our eyes. read more

I see how another customer are complaining about the worst customer service in the world! Yes! Nancy H. Stated that someone "hate" when someone doesn't speak English but this one needs to learn "we pay your check, too"! I had the most embarrassing moment of my "shopping life"... I am a real "oniomania" or "shopaholic"... I just stop all the time and get something! I decided to stop a this whole today, get a beach bag, usually i lost all my receipts but I started to send it to my email...I really didn't like the bag...! Back to the store trying to returned...one lady stated "did you buy this here"? Wth? Obviously I am Hispanic, she thinks all Hispanic shoplift! I never saw a Associate ask a customer that question, with that nasty face and actitud!; I didn't use it! I have my receipts but she assumed that I didn't have it! And one of the Supervisor was really nasty and offensive! Last thing she did was pointed his index finger on my face! I was aggravated but not disrespectful! I have to calm down the whole day and probably the next couples weeks because she just awake the animal that we have inside! The floor Associates and the cashiers are nasty and miserable human beings too...i know people can be unhappy but you don't have to be so tacky and nasty... This TJ Maxx location in Hyannis is definitely not for me. The store itself was lackluster with a limited selection of items that were torn apart by patrons who didn't like the merchandise while trying it on. The staff here was also disrespectful which automatically puts a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, there are better shopping centers in the area so the next time I come back will probably be in a last ditch effort to buy something I need. read more

Very large store with lots of space and a large selection. I also loved how this location has a jewelry counter, which is not something you find in every TJ Maxx. Unlike some TJ Maxx in more urban areas like Boston, it's not overstuffed and you can easily maneuver around all the merchandise. Minus one star for rather surly employees restocking the shelves, although the cashier was very friendly. read more

I have been coming to this store for over 5 years. Each time we came to the Cape, this is the first store I hit throughout our vacation time. The store is large with plenty of room, the dressing room is nice, clean and very lighted. The selection like any other store is just luck, but I seem to do well each time. Today I was able to get clothe for myself, my son and my mother who is a plus size women. They have a nice selection for plus size women I feel. Plenty of parking, clean store and lots to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful to me and my son (age 10). read more

Let me start by saying I LOVE TJ Maxx. BUT I have never had an experience like I did this past Tuesday evening when simply trying to buy a bathing suit. My friend, sister, and I were visiting the Cape for vacation and decided to stop in to see if we could find patriotic bathing suits for July 4th. Last minute, I know, but to our surprise we all found one that was perfect for the occasion. We were greeted at the register by a very personable, and sweet woman. She was super helpful throughout this whole endeavor and if it werent for her I probably wouldve caused a scene. This lady called over a manager because one bathing suit didnt have a tag and one was marked down but the only one in my size of course did not have a sale sticker on it. Bathing suit A: doesnt have a tag at all. Manager sends someone to look for another one with a tag. We keep telling them its the last one left so they are not gonna find another one back there. Manager ignores us. Bathing suit B: Manager sees this top is supposed to be sold with bottoms. We explain there is a whole rack back there of the same top all half off, all without bottoms. Manager voids the sale. "We cant sell this to you because we dont have the bottoms and we cant sell you the other one because we cant find one with a tag on it" Excuse me??? Take my money?? I dont get it. I try to explain the situation AGAIN extremely nicely. Manager WALKS AWAY FROM ME AND IGNORES ME FOR THE REST OF MY TIME THERE WHEN I AM TRYING TO TALK TO HER. First of all, how old are you? Second of all, you should be fired for how god awful your customer service is. Meanwhile, the sweet cashier continues to apologize for this mess of a situation but she clearly cannot do anything to help us since her manager is probably the worst person I've ever come across in customer service. SO all 3 of us walk out of there baffled at what just happened. No bathing suits in hand. 45 minutes of shopping, 20 minutes at the register, all for nothing. Waste of our time. The customer is always right and we were not being difficult whatsoever. This manager however was rude, non compliant, and useless. "Chantel Lee", do us all a favor and step down because you dont deserve the position you were given. We will never shop here ever again. read more
