Great store. Not the biggest Macy's in the country but they actually do have a large variety of clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories and lots more. The have two separate stores in the mall, so lots of goods for everyone in the family. Good prices, too. read more

Excellent. I am very impressed by the quality and organization in the women's beauty, shoes, jewelry, etc. departments. As I visit the Cape a few times a year, I was pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness and kindness of every employee I came into contact with. The woman who helped me n the Beauty Department (Clarins) was very welcoming and attentive. I was purchasing a gift from for a friend. I was shopping at 1:00 pm on Tuesday the 25th. Unfortunately, I misplaced her business card. I was impressed that she did not to try to sell me products I didn't need at that time. She did give me several samples which I shared with my sister. I did have my service dog with me. The woman working in the fine jewelry department smiled and we spoke for a moment. read more

I ordered a cashmere sweater for $40 at the end of November. I wore it for the first time last night. I noticed two small holes in the sweater. When I contacted Macy's , they said it was past the 30 day refund policy. They don't stand behind their merchandise. they have just lost another customer! read more

Idk what's up with that place if your under the age of 20 don't go. I went the other day with my friend and he had his backpack on and the security guard was talking about us to someone so we just decided to go out because we knew we were going to get kicked out for doing absolutely nothing. So we go out and the guard chases us down and yells at us "get the f*** out of the store I know you have s*** in that bag" my friend even told him that he could check his bag but he just walked away. Then we went back with my other friend and he was just following us around the store along with probably 3 other employees we didn't do anything wrong. And this is off topic but everything there is way overpriced. The guy that was following us around had grey hair and a long pony tail stay away from him. Bought a $200 watch and 3 days later went to return it because the days of the week on the watch change too frequently throughout the day; and in different languages might I add. The sales clerk informed us that because the "links were removed we were not allowed to make any exchanges or returns". The links were removed at this very store and she refused to replace them or take the return regardless. Had the clerk warned us BEFORE she removed the links (ruining any chance for a return) we could have saved us the trouble of spending $200 on a broken watch. In 2018 we bought a fabulous mattress from Lori Kerrigan at Macy's in the Cape Cod Mall, Hyannis, MA for our Osterville home. Recently, we were thrilled to learn Ms. Kerrigan is still at Macy's in the mattress department when we were looking for a new mattress and box spring for our NYC apartment. She gave us the same wonderful customer service, had all our records on file, and was able to organize the delivery of the new mattress and box spring as well as pick up of our old mattress. We accomplished the entire transaction through email and phone calls. So New Yorkers -- you can buy a fabulous mattress from Macy's on the Cape without ever leaving your apartment! They saved me in a jam. I needed a winter coat and no place else had a decent one. I got one here and the quality was super. Still have it. The prices are pretty high but I didn't have a choice. And anyway pretty much all Macy's are over priced. I can't really comment on the selection of clothes in this one as I was primarily focused on the coats. I actually found two that were great and almost couldn't choice. The service was pretty good to me but I know that can be an issue at alot of retail stores. I'd absolutely recommend them for coats though any time. read more

Tried to order a quilt on line to pick up. Online kept saying they had it But order would not process. Called the store twice. Got different info both times. Called Customer service. Got a guy in South Africa. "No problem, I'll take care of this". Two hours I was on the phone trying to order to pick up My product in Hyannis, MA. I spelled the name of the town and the name of the mall. He had a wrong phone number for me. I gave him my new one and had him repeat it back. I get an email with a store listed in California and my wrong phone number. I have called and sent emails. The email to customer service was not responded to. Unfortunately, although the call centers speak english they do not comprehend and do not fix the problem. I will never, ever go through this again. Goodbye Macy's. read more

Macy's isn't a deferment store it's just a warehouse now. Walked around looking for help (just to be ringed up). Could not even find someone to check out. Once I find someone they where nice but clearly not trained. Afterward I asked a friend who use to work there about it. Told me they are a minimum wage employer. If they don't want to put enough staff on the floor, and invest in decent staff they don't need my money. read more

I had the worst customer service experience of my life today at Macy's Hyannis (Cape Cod Mall) store. There were some very helpful people in my long journey trying to return an evening dress (Anne Margaret in handbags was wonderfully helpful). But in the end, I was stonewalled, disrespected, and ultimately walked away from when I tried to question the fairness of an unclear and deceptive store policy of allowing only 60 days for evening dress returns. The manager, KATHY, was rude, abrasive, and unhelpful. Even if she could not take back the dress, her behavior was appalling. After about 5 minutes of trying to discuss this with her, she said, "I'm done with this," and stalked off while my friend and I were still talking to her. I was shocked. I have never been treated so rudely in any retail establishment (and I live in Manhattan, so that's saying a lot!!). Clearly, KATHY lacked either the training or the skill to deal with an unhappy customer. She treated my friend and I as if we were assaulting her, when we were voicing a complaint. I will make a formal complaint against her with the human resources department tomorrow, but I will never set foot in that store again. My friend was so offended on my behalf that she is canceling her Macy's credit card. The whole experience was horrible. My boyfriend got me a very expensive ring from Macy's for Christmas. The ring was just too much for me and when he went to return it, he was told that it's against store policy to return fine jewelry without the tag attached. He brought the tag, the receipt and original box and even the bag. It is even itemized on the receipt. No one told him when he purchased the item that was the store policy. It was pretty clear he wasn't buying it for himself and no one in their right mind would give a gift like that with the price tag on it. I will never purchase another item from Macy's jewelry section and I will be sure to share my experience with others. read more

Macy's now selling undersized mattresses advertised as full sizes. Take a tape measure along when you shop. Manufacturers are short changing the public by shaving 2 inches or more off their mattress sizes and Macy's is selling them as full sized. BAD DEAL!!!!!! read more
