Now, I love visiting a store with lots of stuff everywhere, but this place looked like it had been attacked. Maybe it's because I visited at the end of the day? Your experience might be different from mine if you visit on a different day at a different time. For instance, the shoe area had single shoes hanging out with pairs of shoes that looked like they had been worn by customers who came in and decided they didn't want their shoes anymore, and so they just put on the shelf. Next to this was clothing that was hung up on a rack, but there was no rhyme or reason to the organization. Swim suits with football padding with pajama pants with toddler outfits. The clothing area is where I decided to just let go and let God, but then I looked at the prices and almost laughed out loud. Not Bulldog Liquidators trying to sell me a Target blouse for $10! Anyway. They do have a lot of furniture here, which I think is the big draw. I saw some decent bureaus and tables and things. Also some ottomans and a nice gaming chair that I almost considered. After taking to some people who like Bulldog Liquidators, I think people come here to get discounted food and health/hygiene supplies, like pads and diapers. They will sell open packages of pads that have just one pad removed at a steep discount. That's nice. But I think for the uninitiated, Bulldog is just a mess, and I'd rather spend a couple of dollars more to shop at a place that is more organized. And the prices are not really discounted, compared to the quality of items that are in the store.

The one thing that seems to remain and allow parents some relaxation and the kids some fun is the play area. My son could spend hours here if I let him lol. He climbs, he walks, and he plays. There are comfy chairs and sofas to sit in. They have a charging station, and they have hand sanitizer!! The bathroom near the play area is family friendly and has a hard changing area. It would be nice if there was a lip there to ensure children didn't fall. The bathroom in the food courts is a whole different story. It is a FAMILY bathroom. There is no buckle on the changing table and the changing table tilts down. Perfect setting for a child to fall. The mall is light and vibrant in most spaces. It's a good place to just walk around and window shop. Mostly I miss all stores having dressing rooms.

Meaning I am forever hitching up my pants. A-nnoying! A friend told me to check out the jeans at Torrid; and that, by the way, they had a buy 1 get one half off sale on jeans this week. Sold! I was excited as soon as I walked in to the store. The carry lots of things that are definitely my style or that I'd love to incorporate into my wardrobe. While I did feel their prices were a tad high on some things, my initial impression is that their clothes appear to be well made and with nice fabrics. I ultimately purchased 2 pairs of jeans, and found the prices to be reasonable for good jeans, $60-$70. I absolutely love the fit and the material feels sturdy yet soft. We'll see if I'm hitching up my pants at the end of the day and how they hold up after a few washings. Torrid carries sizes 10-30. However, I'm a 10-12, and found it a little hard to find things in my size. There were several tops that I would have purchased if they'd had them in my size. The one gal did say that they don't typically send them as many of those sizes. "Plus" size typically starts at 14 in most stores. I know I did question if they'd have my size when I heard about them. So maybe not as many women in those sizes know about Torrid yet? I know this curvy girl is intrigued! Also, I really LOVE their roomy fitting rooms with plush seats. The whole fitting room area is decorated really posh and swanky. My hubby was pretty comfortable while he waited. Really the topping on the cake for this store was the women working. All 3 were extremely helpful, and I barely had to leave the fitting room once they knew what I was after. They also helped me order items online that hadn't been available in my size and sent me off with some really great coupons. Having a great experience when shopping for clothing is always a great feeling. But awesome coupons are even better!

When they asked who helped us, we did let them know that no one could be bothered. We did see a cluster of other employees standing around apparently having a little chat session... it's a rather frustrating scenario.

A limited amount of furniture is in the store, such as side chairs, benches, and decorative side tables. Mirrors and a large selection of lamps are available. I've attached several pictures to this review. The staff was friendly, with great personalities and all were very pleasant. At check-out, she reminded me when the sales start and end, plus online shipping is available. A large selection of items are available online that you'll never see in the store.
