I know we are a car centric society, but it makes shopping sometimes a very daunting task. Once inside, I went about the store to pick up the items I needed and a few I didn't need. This is a newer location and it made shopping decent. I was able to find everything rather quickly and was happy to make this a quick stop. I browsed for a bit and noticed that some section in this location were a bit more chaotic than others. Some departments like clothing and electronics were neat and tidy, while others like the seasonal were a mess. Items were strewn about and it made it hard to figure out the pricing. Which then made me have to locate a price check kiosk to figure out what I had in my hand was either cheaper or more expensive.

You would be surprised at what you can find in Gabes.... TONS of household items... clothes hangers, frying pans, sheets, decorative lamps, pillows, comforters, and much more all at great low prices. Disclaimer: Some are off-brands, but I did see some Tommy Hilfiger bath towels and Kenneth Cole sheets. I found my storage totes. They actually had so many that I had a hard time deciding which to buy. As for their clothing, I would check it good before buying. I have been lucky and found some good deals on nearly perfect clothing but I know that is not the case with everyone. Also, it is not organized so be prepared to dig around a bit. This was one of my last stops in this area before I decided it was time to start trekking back…read morehome. I only needed a few more things that I could not find elsewhere and I wanted to make sure I grabbed them while I was out because I was not making another trip. With it being the holiday season this place was packed, not unlike any other weekend. I ran in here and tried to make my way around the store as fast as I could. In my mad dash to grab things I was able to complete my shopping list without too much hassle from the other customers. Even in the midst of holiday season, they seemed to have a well stocked store.

I can't pass up a location and not think about what I might have missed. First and foremost, it is a bit of a pain in the behind to get into this parking lot for this plaza. I'm sure there is probably an easier way to do it, but for me, I had to of taken the hardest possible route to get in here. However, once I maneuvered around and found a spot to park, I was on my way to discovery. Inside I have to say that this is one of the most well organized and stocked DTs I have been to. But, it was hit or miss on the items that they did have stocked. Some of the usuals were missing, but they were smart about making the shelves look packed with items. Even if it was just row upon row of repeat. I didn't find it hard to fill up a basket full of items which let me know it was time to get out. Otherwise, I would have just kept grabbing items whether I needed them or not. The lines here were a bit ridiculous. But that was because I was here during the holiday season and everyone else was too.

The checkout line can be long at times, but that cannot take away from the fact that the employees are always helpful, kind, and attentive. Where all the high schoolers have their first jobs here to where one of the few places to get organic foods. They have a large variety of everything, I always come here first to find any specialty foods before hitting up the international stores for those hard-to-find items. Bonus Card? For sure.
