Ugh, if I didn't have to, I would not have stopped here. Before my trip I needed to stop and grab an extra power cord. I had did that the day prior and when I got home and opened the package to pack the cord noticed that it was damaged to the point that it was not usable. I figured that I would just stop along my travel and exchange the broken one for a new one. GPS will show you where to go when you don't know the area. Exactly what happened here. I wish now that I would have went elsewhere. I walked in and went to the area they had setup for customer service. Told them that all I wanted to do was exchange it for exactly what I had. They kept the item and I went back to the electronics department to find my replacement. I searched and searched and searched for a replacement. I wasn't seeing what I needed. I went to look for an associate to see if I am just blind or if they were indeed out of the item. When I saw an associate I went over and asked if I could get some help. It was a bit funny, I had asked one and had two come to help me. When I pointed out the item that I needed she used her little scanner thing and scanned the peg. Her database was telling her that there were two of them in stock. But not on the peg. We looked through every peg as a just in case. Nothing. Walked the department to make sure there wasn't a display with them on, nothing. Then the truth comes out. They had no one with knowledge of the department currently working. So even though the associate was answering my questions, her knowledge of the department was nil. She was just giving a blanket answer. Working retail prior in my life I would have gone to the back to check and see if it was just sitting on a shelf waiting to be placed on the floor. Or at least that's what I used to do when working. We would constantly pull items from the back to see if they could go out, if they didn't, they just went back to the back. I ended up just buying the charging cord that was shorter because it was needed and I didn't have any other time to stop elsewhere before reaching my destination. Went to the front and told the associate I was dealing with what the situation is. This is the irritating part. For me exchanging an item that was damaged to no fault of my own and having to get an item that was similar but not exact, I could receive the difference back to me via put back on my debit card (which is my money and basically cash in these days) or I could receive it back as store credit. For real, you think I want to carry around a gift card with like two dollars on it. I guess I'll just wait the three to five business days for it to show back up in my banking account. read more

Neat, tidy and well stocked, even if they didn't have a paid of dress slacks in my size. It's the same exact layout that I've seen in other Target stores and that includes the wide aisles, the same clothing in women's and men's and kidswear, plus electronics and food (limited produce and meat) and personal care. Unfortunately, I came to shop with my family and decided to grab a snack. We ordered 2 small popcorns, hotdogs and grilled cheese. The lady stated she had already cleaned up the popcorn kettle 40 minutes prior to the food area closing and were out of popcorn and were out of hot dogs. The grilled cheese came out wet and floppy so I asked for them to cook a little longer to which I was told that's how they are. Zero customer service shown and the manager simply stated sorry for your experience. Sorry, Hagerstown Target..... I will never sing your praises. read more

I really like this Target. It is always clean, well stocked and the employees are very friendly here. I would actually give this location 5 stars except often times the employees smoke outside near the front entrance/exit. This I feel detracts from the overall appearance of the store. If employees are going to smoke on break, out the back door would be a better option. I'm sure you don't want your customers to start standing near the entrance and smoking, so why allow employees to do it? read more

Pretty good, I shop here for all my groceries from Waynesboro because it's the best experience. I don't have to watch three numbnuts back into each other and get into an argument about a divorce (typical Walmart things) and I don't have to throw half of my groceries away when I get home because they're moldy. This is where I do my household shopping. With the weekly deals, store coupons and manufacturer coupons, I can get a good deal. The store is clean, the staff is nice and they have a well-stocked toy section that my husband and daughter love. read more

The staff at this location are amazing!!!!! In these uncertain times Target has not wavered. I can count on them for so many things. I love the fact that no matter what I can get everything I need. I am however a little upset by the one review given the store 1 star because they are refusing service to people not wearing masks. From what I have seen when I have gone into Target it has been young high school kids working the door, I know I wouldn't want my young kid demanding for an adult to wear a mask. some of these adults are really getting upset with having to wear them. if you choose not to return to Target because of that, I am sure they won't miss you and I am sure Walmart will be glad to have to have your business until you start that kind of crap there. This Target is older and definitely shows it. Even with minor updates the whole store needs to be updated to the standards of modern day Targets. There needs to be a Starbucks, a food place (Pizza Hut Express, etc.) and a more upscale feel to the place. It is really frustrating and annoying to have to go out of the store, practically to go to the Guest Services desk. It seems sad when compared to the newer stores in Martinsburg and Chambersburg nearby. The staff could use a little updating too, hit or miss with some. Had a couple of rude experiences here and there. Also they do major resets in the middle of the day (i.e.- Electronics and Media section). At least its never crowded and you can avoid most of the rednecks and welfarers that go to Walmart. Also need to carry the full line of Target/up & up brand products! read more

They've recently renovated and added a starbucks. However, this Target is lacking compared to other Targets in the area when it comes to selection. The baby section is often picked over and the store overall could just use more items. This Target will do in a pinch, as it is far better than the local Walmart; if I have the time, though, I would rather go to chambersburg or martinsburg, they have more. read more

The female pharmacist is very rude and messed up my prescriptions several times. The rest of the staff is very friendly. I have heard that other people had problems with the one pharmacist as well. read more

I shop target because they employees are more courteous and the pharmacy is faster and knows more than Walmart. Also Walmart has foul mouthed cashiers and the management is horrid. They may have lower prices but also have lower employee standards!!!!! I have yet to see this at target. Thank you target!!! read more
