I was a regular at Brio Italian Grille, they are no longer there. After 20+ years they closed their flagship location at Millenia. I was bummed because I wanted to have dinner there. The food court has lots of options for good food, fast and not so fast too. Plenty of parking even though it can get crowded. I usually go there when I need to get a specific item. The place itself is clean, I liked that they're not the usually kiosks or sales people trying to sell you things, that's a plus for me when it comes to choosing a mall. I have some places that I like to go there for food, like the Cheesecake Factory and PF Changs. My daughter likes that there's a Claire's, and all the other Claire's around that we know are now closed. They have unique places when it comes to luxury brands, plenty of parking, but in peak season time can get difficult to find a parking close to the entrance. I go sometimes, and meet friends since it's near the touristic/universal studios area. They also have a big Apple store, that occasionally visit.

The mall is really nice and has a good mix of stores , definitely some that I would personally shop at. The food court stood out too, with plenty of options and really good eats. It felt lively and had a lot to choose from. Parking was a bit of a hassle, especially depending on the time, but they do offer VIP parking for about $8 for the day, which is super convenient since it's right up front. Overall, I would definitely come back to this mall if I'm in the area.

Last year we went and they had Christmas flamingos. They had more this year. They also passed out Christmas bags with Simon mall logo on them. I would be back for this event. My issue with The Florida Mall is that the A/C doesn't work well. It's a huge mall with tons of shops and tons of people walking around. They are so busy. We were looking for stores with the best A/C bc we couldn't really beat the heat here. Primark has the best A/C. Along with Armani Exchange, Ghirardelli bc of their chocolates, and The TNS Store. I wish I could have stayed longer but the lack of A/C made me want to leave. I very much loved the Xmas in July Event and Santa, Mrs. Claus, the elves, the photographer, and the other people working were so nice. The AC is sure lacking and this was the issue last year. Perhaps the big space, older mall and open ceiling exposing the sunshine sure doesn't help. This is a very popular mall. It could def be better here.

Check out takes forever and the employees there are not very friendly. I can tell by the look on their faces that they dread working there. Within 15 minutes after that (7:30) the loud speaker stated that the store would be closing in 30 minutes please gather your purchases and make your way to the register in both English and Spanish. Then in 15 minutes again (7:45) in Spanish and English the loud speaker stated again. The. In ten minutes the loud speaker again. Then in five minutes the store is closed. So that was at 7:15, 7:30, 7:45, 7:55 and then at 8:00. The entire time we were shopping we were being kicked out. Horrible experience. Just close the store at 7:00pm and save me the headache of Dominga here to be annoyed. Meanwhile.... Ross is open until 11pm.
