I told her I would press the button and use my selected form of payment. She insisted that she press the button and handle my method of payment, to which I told her no - there was no reason at all for her to handle my card. The company needs to either have staff handle the transactions at the regular register or have the customer handle everything themselves at the self service checkouts.
