I pretty much always find something here, and as a petite woman it comes in handy for grabbing wardrobe staples (you know, the building blocks of a wardrobe). Quality trench coats, check, blazers in all styles and colors, check, basic tees, check, linen bottoms the actually fit, check, and the store stays orderly. I will say it's helpful to know what you're looking for, because some of the merchandise sacrifices quality for price (usually in the lining), and ofcourse it's not alway identical merchandise to the store, but they still always carry gems. Most of the time the staff is sweet and friendly. However, occasionally I come across someone who's having a hard day, like today. Luckily, that's a rare instance. read more

Love the clothes from BRF, I always can find something for last minute events. I usually shop online and occasionally in store. Sometimes you will find deals online that is not offer in store. The prices seem fair for the quality of the items. They have a lot of variety of colors and sizes. Sales associates are always nice and helpful but occasionally, you will find one that is having a bad day. read more

Love, love, love this store!! They have a huge selection and the associates are so nice. if I don't fine my size on the floor, they'll help me with ordering me a size or getting a size from the back. The only thing is this store gets super cray packed and super busy on the weekends so if you don't like Crazy packed stores. It's best to come during the week. read more

I usually love shopping at the Premium Outlet. BR is one of my favorite store. But at this location. Its so so. I saw something that I wanted to try on. I have noticed the BR changing room line didn't seem to move at all. At the end, I gave up. I just went and bought it assuming it should be ok. I mean, I liked the color so why not just grab it. I was waiting for a Banana Republic to open in the Houston Premium Outlets. It is located between Brooks Brothers and Jones New York. The space inside isn't too bad. They have a decent amount of merchandise throughout the store with discounts for men and women. Small section for accessories. The sales associates were friendly and would ask questions. Clothes wise, I would recommend going to the Galleria or maybe Memorial City due to the more up-to items located there. Some of the clothes were rather disappointing or not in stock. All in all, Banana Republic is a great addition to the shopping community. read more

It's a factory outlet store. That means you can get really good deals here on BR products. If you come on the weekends or a holiday be prepared that they will be slammed. This means longer waits for a dressing room, longer lines to check out, clothes on shelves in disarray, etc. The best time to come is on a weekday, of course. I think they have a good selection of clothing to choose from and compares favorably with their retail stores in malls. read more

Purchased an item online that was a final sale item. I understand having a "no return" policy for final sale, but when a customer buys an item online without having the luxury of trying it on, there's always a possibility of incorrect sizing. All I wanted to do was exchange for a different size! So, my XS purchase cannot be exchanged for a S, which means it is a total waste of money. The exchange policy needs to be revised for online buyers. Terrible experience! read more

Customer service was top-notch. I came in to return some purchases on the last day (to get my moolah back). In true fashion, I didn't have my receipt and never received the Banana Republic credit card (which I only signed up for the additional discounts. Ugh I hate how they get you!) Anyway.. my name wasn't coming up in the system... The card services folk were saying a lot of no but I was persistent about getting this done before paying my bill. Long story short, three different staff members were involved at one point or the other (including the manager) and totally accommodated me. It certainly helped that the store was sparse but still.. they could have read me a line and moved on with their daily work. But they even tried to make exceptions but unfortunately technology rules.. ugh! For that, I'm very appreciative to the Banana Republic staff AND Banana Republic/Synchrony folks that went a level ahead to help out. To finish this (true) story... In the end nothing worked. Dress to impress is the coined cliche that comes ahead of the truer statement, it costs to look good. However, i firmly disagree now as a growing thrift shopper and bargain elitest. But for a wedding or an occasional affair that requires elevating your pinky when sipping tea, BR can get you right. Just know what look you're going for and stick with it or your wallet will go on a diet. Being that this is an outlet BR there's much to appreciate for a returning shopper. Much more affordable than their fellow stores around the city and much more difficult to get to if you live in what Houston denotes as their actual city limits. i could survive with just shopping for their ties and pants, i can find a nice button-up anywhere. And as a tie connoisseur i think most men either try too hard or not hard enough (no "that's what she said" jokes) leaving them carrying an albatross of attire. Don't be surprised if there aren't many sizes to choose from should you have a larger build. I'm 6'0 170lbs and i suppose that my build is ideal for most of their stock, but i've seen "big & tall" fellows catch the short end of the stick here. Great for the ladies as well, and the style isn't your black and brown and toupe business attire for the corporate realm, there's plenty of options to show your flare. It's still too pricey for frequent visits if i should say. read more

Clothes are made specifically for Banana Republic outlets. You can tell outlet clothes by the 3 diamonds marked on the tag. . A lot of the items here are made in Egypt. Excellent place to buy suits. Can't beat the price even if clothes are slightly less quality than at regular Banana Republic store. read more

This is the Banana Republic equivalent of the Kohl's store near Langham Creek High School (see my review). The disarray os as severe as Kohl's but I have never been in this BR when it was organized and clean. The atmosphere doesn't male me want to spend money. read more

This store experience was disappointing; I just felt like this particular visit was a miss rather than the usual hit. The styles were unflattering and billowy, and the prints weren't particularly outstanding. The dressing room situation was a bit stressful because they keep the clearance racks (which were pretty disorganized) in the room in front of the fitting room area, and there was definitely a wait to try on clothes. Maybe they were short staffed on this day? Not sure, but I unfortunately left without purchasing anything. read more

It's nice to have a Banana Republic at the outlet. You can really get some great deals on some super cute items, but you may have to work for it. If you are not coming on a weekday (when it's not so busy) it is crowded in this store. Expect to wait a while in line to try on your items. This store gets extremely crowded and it can be overwhelming. Some of the items seem as if they are poorly made compared to clothing you would buy in a regular Banana store. Manager was SO rude! I asked a sales person about the price on an item because two of them were misplaced. He wouldn't even ACKNOWLEDGED me and told the sales person (while I was standing there) 'no they are here.' I asked him if he was having a bad day and he finally turned to at least look at me. I will never shop there again. If you have your merchandise misplaced, you should first accept the price above it. You should ALWAYS be polite to the customer especially if they have been everything but nice to you. And at least acknowledge them JERK. read more
