I don't know, where I can file complaints from store employees. Today, I purchased pants and dresses from the runway section at Sudbury store. I checked out at register #6 at 6:24pm on 09/19/2024. The cashier kept saying she couldn't believe the price of the clothes with the red tag. I think, Everyone goes to this store because there's a lot of good deals to find amazing prices. She looked at the clothes and me repeatedly, saying something was wrong and she suddenly whispered to the other staff next to her and kept looking at me. Eventually, she called a man like a manager, and she asked him to double-check the price with the other machine all red tag. I couldn't understand why she kept acting that way. It took a long time to calculate and re-check the price. The manager said that there was nothing wrong with the price tag after verifying it. but the cashier women refused to give up, so she took out the clothes, she had placed in the bag after scanning right before and asked the other women like manager next to her to double-check the pricing of the red tag again. She also said there was nothing wrong with the price. Does she not trust the price tag of the store where she belongs? Or doesn't she trust me, just me, as a customer? When a customer purchases a final price item, is it common to call the manager to recheck the price? My English is not good, but my conversation skills are not bad. but she never answered my question about the current situation and ignored it. She was really rude and showed no regard for the customer. I'd want to inform you that the cashier of an old woman is an inexperienced employee who ignores, mistrusts, and mocks Asian clients who purchase high-quality things. read more

The store is nice and clean and there is an abundance of items, but checking out is a nightmare. The cashiers are constantly trying to get me to sign up for the TJ Maxx card. I know it probably comes from the higher ups, but it is so annoying to be harassed about it every time I shop. I may just start browsing and then order online for store pickup to avoid being asked all the time. read more

It's a smaller TJ Maxx hidden in a back corner of some random strip mall on Rt 20 in Sudbury. I will fully admit that I despise driving on Rt 20 in Sudbury, and that probably influences my opinion. I was looking for shirts. And the selection was slim. Tons of tank tops/camisoles. And tons of these floral ruffly peasant blouses. But nothing that a normal person would wear. I just found the whole selection skewed either Junior or Matron. And I don't fall into either category. read more

Customer service here borders on abusive. The merchandise is typical of the TJX Corporation --excellent offerings-- but for some reason the hired staffs feel a need to treat the customers in line like cattle or sheep. They carry on conversations between themselves behind the sacred cashier counter and press the magic button to let you know they have decided to actually work for their paychecks. Today the cashier threw, yes, actually tossed the receipt on the counter for me to sign for the credit card purchase. This while never even greeting me or recognizing my patronly existence. This is the store to make all your returns to. More work for the cattle and sheep behind the sacred cashier counter--tit for tat. read more

It's always hit or miss with me at this particular store. I am plus size and they have never had a great selection for us bigger girls. Also the last several times I have been they seem to look like they are closing, not a lot of inventory. Sad because I love TJ Maxx. read more

I just went here on my lunch break. From the outside, it looks like a small old TJ Maxx, but that is so not the case when you're inside. This is one of the nicest TJ Maxx stores I have ever been in. I cannot believe I've been working walking distance from this store for 6 months and this was my first time there! The store was spotless, and actually filled with helpful employees. Crazy, huh? The shoe selection was great (I didn't walk out empty handed!). The clothes section was so clean and organized and the Runway section was fantastic. I saw a few things I would have loved to try on if I weren't short on time. That said, I did have the time to quickly try on a couple things and the fitting rooms are amazing. They're decent size, super clean, each with a stool inside and a huge mirror that's all lit up. It makes me want to try on even more clothes next time! I walked out of there with a really cool shirt and a pair of shoes for $45. I will so be spending more of my lunch breaks here. I'm just sad it took me this long to check it out! I have a feeling my lunches may be getting a bit more expensive.... read more

The reason I gave it two stars is because I had a HUGE problem staying in there for more than 10 minutes. Not long after I stepped foot into this store, I started to get a sinus/nose ache. I tried to breathe out of my mouth to relieve myself. It must been a wicked long time since they've cleaned the HVAC system. The moment I removed myself from the store, the pain stretching from my nose to my sinus disappeared. I guess I'm allergic to mold. I tolerated as much as I could so I can get a few pairs of socks which was the main reason I went in. They couldn't make more money out of me tho cuz I probably would've dropped dead if I persisted to shop any longer. read more

Love shopping here! It is sort of hidden in a strip mall... I randomly found it one day a couple of months ago. It is definitely smaller, but I have never seen it mobbed with people like I have at other locations. Much easier to find parking in this much smaller lot. The employees are super nice! Over the last couple of months, it has become much more organized. I would absolutely recommend shopping at this TJ Maxx! read more

This is a pretty quality TJ Maxx, smaller than some of the ones closer to Boston, but it has all the usual stuff. I found some cool shoes, headphones and a skirt here. My only gripe about this location is with the woman who approached me as I was browsing the skirts in the junior's section and said to me... "you know, this is the junior's section, right?". Oh, no.... does this mean I am old? Anyways, that skirt I bought, it was from the junior's section. And it rocks! read more

A true hidden gem. TJ Maxx isn't exactly the store I'd ever expect to find in a town like Sudbury. And if I didn't search for it, I wouldn't have ever found it. Normally, I'm pretty knowledgeable about what is where, and when places are opening and closing. Never have I heard about the Sudbury TJ Maxx. Never knew it existed, and wouldn't ever expect to find it here, as the Framingham location is so close by. Anyway, I was surprised since normally in shopping centers TJ Maxx stores have, large, elegant, visible storefront signs and road signs, so people know they are there. This location has a mini sign in the mini Sudbury Crossing marquee. The storefront is tiny. It's hiding. Hopefully it never changes! This is one of the BEST TJ Maxx stores. It's not huge, yet has everything you'd expect, except plan to find lots more of designer products, and amazing clearance sections (no one ever is there!), they are in the back of the store. Great furniture section, great pet section, and great men's section. This location also houses a "Runway" section, which is appealing to some as well. Staff were friendly and never a long line (or crowded, whatsoever). Ample parking lot right outside as well! What discount department store could be better (besides the even-better Newton TJ Maxx)! 5 stars. Located on Route 20, in the Sudbury Crossing plaza. read more

This store really has a nice selection of the more 'upscale' stuff. It is smaller then most of the other locations, but that is OK! I feel like it is hit or miss, but 8 out of 10 aint bad. You almost always leave here with something. The staff is very nice, they gab and gab to you... sometimes the checkout lines are short but take a long time to move.. bummer! I prefer this location then the others, It is merchandised the best - more high-end stuff somewhat cheap! read more

After parsing through the (limited) dress selections, I finally found a decent jumper that I was happy with. As I was attempting to match said jumper with some shoes, a sales woman came over and commented that the shoes matched perfectly with the jumper. I said that I was unsure on the jumper. The sales woman then pounced on my minor insecurity about the outfit saying "Actually this piece is disgusting, it's so ugly, I hate it!". It felt super unprofessional and rather mean! read more

O yesssssssssssss.......!!!! Am I big fan of the 'The Runway at Maxx' or what?! This is one of the 4 MA locations (Cambridge-Alewife, Bedford, Framingham, and Sudbury) that have the runway section in the store. (I believe TJ Maxx is opening 25 nationwide) I don't care for much of the regular clothing section of this store (Alewife and Bedford have an okay regular section), but they have a great selection of R&R and Joes jeans! The stock changes periodically, so it's kind of a hit or miss with selection and availability. The prices are bargains relative to the original retail ticket price (Others may think it still costs an arm and a leg), but I am a jean 'snob' as others may call it. Some other brands they (do/did) carry are alice and olivia, kate spade, tom ford, valentino, rebecca taylor, la rok, tahari, ralph lauren black label, seven for all mankind, antik jeans, love yaya, velvet, hudson, ETC!!!! I am giving them a five, but if I could I rather give them a ten!. Yall are right about this store, the staff is great. I have never really been in other Tj's, but this one for many reasons. And I wish I could have thank the staff for every thing they have done for me!. Went to one in Keene N.H., with my Mother. I was horrified by the size of the store, haven a Mother in a wheel chair. And trying to shop, we couldn't really get her up and down the ails. Never mind turn her around, this store was very, very dirty and way too small. This was about eight years ago. I am hoping to return to this store some day, when I can make it back home. Miss shopping for great things, my closet is full of great brands. There's nothing like Tj Maxx. I have shopped here for years but just had a disturbing encounter with one of the supervisors, named Natalie. She wouldn't allow me to return a dress with the security tag on it even though it clearly had the TJ Maxx tags on it. She flounced away in a huff when I tried to take her picture telling her I was going to pursue this with senior management and was not up to the level of professionalism I've come to expect from this store. Found out yesterday that a cashier at TJMaxx talked my 82 year old, sight-impaired mother into applying for a credit card. She is unable to speak clearly due to a stroke, cannot see an application and is unable to sign her name and yet she was approved for a credit card. And by the way, she has no means of paying the bill, which will be sent to her address at the Assisted Living facility where she lives. In fact, most days she doesn't even check her mailbox. Wonder how TJMaxx thinks they are going to get paid. TJMaxx, you should be ashamed of yourself for preying on the elderly like this. Next step is filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection Bureau and calling Elderly Affairs in Massachusetts to see what can be done about filing a complaint against this store. read more
