I have only been to this location 2-3 times and always left feeling "meh". This morning/early afternoon there was a young man up front cashing people out . My cart had a huge storage ottoman and a mirror - initially he offered to disarm the system that locks carts. So they can't go out the door - that was fantastic alone . I asked if I could pull my car up and he waited patiently keeping an eye on my cart and as I went to grab my ottomsn he said he would go ahead and get it in my car . I feel terrible that I can not recall his name but in a world of seemingly all retail workers being rude recently this man is a standout . He was so incredibly kind and helpful and I hope on future visits he will be there up front again. So incredibly grateful for this- I have relayed the incredible customer service to multiple friends and family . 100% will be back soon mostly because of the service I got from this young man. I had never been to this store before, and wanted to check it out because there was a job fair for a new store in Milford I was invited to attend. After walking through the store I decided to pass on the job fair because there was a store made such a bad impression on me. I haven't been in a Burlington since it was Burlington Coat Factory (and that was in a different location), but I thought I would check it out since I needed to kill a little time before an appointment. I really have no idea who the target market is for Burlington and if they buy merchandise that even the worst stores are getting rid of, but that is what it felt like. Burlington Coat Factory is a bit like TJ Maxx for me - it can be hit or miss, and you have to dig through racks to find clothes, but often you'll find quality clothes at a great bargain. I picked up 2 (cute and office appropriate) dresses for under $30 each & a pair of petite jeans for $20. I'm actively losing weight (thanks Weight Watchers) so it's great to be able to buy clothes to celebrate being in a smaller size, but not take a hit to my bank account with every 10 pounds lost. read more

This place has really gone down hill. First, they rebranded under "Burlington" and apparently took that pretty seriously. There were no coats at all. In a big store: one rack. I was shocked. In addition it seems they reduced the space of the store. Ok sure, retail isn't doing that good anymore. But they filled the store with the same old junk that no one really wants to buy. It was more like a mix of TJ Max and Homegoods. Just tons of junk from China. Who shops there? Well I don't know who but they are ridiculous. On the way out I saw a sign warning me that the carts would stop rolling when they got close to door. Really? What exactly would anyone want to steal from this junk fest. I love this store! I scored a Michael Kors winter coat here and a bunch of work clothes, including pants, tops, sweaters, bow ties and snazzy texting capable gloves for $6 (the gloves were $6). Everything is very resonably priced and of pretty good quality. I belive their womens' sizing probably goes up to a 3 or 4x. Yes curvy women, get yo shopping on. they also have a plethora of cute accessories- don't ask me what the quality of these are because I didn't buy any, but the earrings looked well crafted. Not the best, and then again, not the worst of the Burlington Coat Factory stores. My first visit to Burlington was amazing. I don't live very close to any of the locations, so my first attempt to stop in was last year at the store in Woonsocket, the best BCF to date. Since then, I have been to this location twice and the one in Braintree once. This one is better than the Braintree location, however it doesn't compare to my first experience at the mega-store (should I say) in Woonsocket. While the store is vast and large, it still isn't as big as the one in Woonsocket and has much less inventory and selection throughout the seasonal section, home section, and most seemingly men's clothing department. This specific store also seems messy and definitely gets picked over very quickly, or just doesn't get the gems shipped to them entirely, for the home department specifically, the stock was completely different than that of other locations, and not for the better! I was able to find a few decent things at this place, but in general, I was disappointed since I never have walked out of the Woonsocket store with only a few things (guess it's a good thing for my wallet!). What I can say is that depending on what you're looking for, Burlington Coat has considerably lower prices than TJ Maxx or Marshalls on various items which makes it more appealing for me since I always want the lower price (don't we all though?). Just saying that I think it's a good thing to come into this place every so often to attempt to get the amazing deals that are desired and not always present at either TJ Maxx or Marshalls. For the rating, this place deserves three stars because honestly, it's just okay; but I'll bump it up to four because I like Burlington as a chain store, and because the employees at this specific location were extra friendly and helpful, plus I didn't have to wait in line at all which was extremely appreciated! 4 stars. read more

Their jingle is legendary: "Burlington Coat Factory, we've got moooore than just coats." It's up there with "What would you do for a Klondyke bar?" and "The best part of waking up, is Folger's in your cup." HOWEVER, when we went into the store, my sister and I were shocked- what else IS there in here? Other than the racks of designer coats- and I was disappointed that there were only a handful in my size- it's pretty trashy. Coming from Target, this place was like downgrading to the woman's clothing department at Building 19. I'm bumping them up a star due to their maternity section. Do you know how hard it is to fine cheap maternity clothes? Really hard. And how long do you wear them for? Less than 5 months? I couldn't justify spending $30 on a pair of maternity pants, but at Burlington Coat Factory, I didn't have to. In fact, I didn't spend more than $9.99 on any of the maternity pants I got. I was able to purchase some professional looking dresses for my daughter for a pre-professional event she will be attending soon and a good number of belts for her to accessorize her wardrobe with, and didn't break the bank. Yes, we had to wade through a lot of stuff to find these gems, but I highly recommend spending the time sifting through the store. She was so pleased with her finds! read more

The guest service is extraordinary! My husband and I were greeted by Bernadette who is the warmest and most personable person I've come into contact in a while. Then we met her supervisor Lindsay who was exactly the same way! Good job Burlington it seems like you have a monopoly on awesome guest service. This is definitely one of my favorite places to shop. I am not very fashionable, and this store has everything I need to go to work. Clothes are very inexpensive with decent quality. It seems that lots of clothes are from famous stores like NY Company. I got my sweaters (NY Company) for under $10. To me it seems like a Sears/JC Penny but a lot cheaper. It feels nice to get myself some clothes (sweater/slippers/socks) every week when I can definitely afford it! read more

The only reason I ever go to Burlington coat factory is for the clearance food. I've been able to find food products I like for half the price I would normally pay. For example they often have torani coffee syrups and good peanut butter brands. Forget about looking at the clothes if you're into fashion at all. They are tacky and ghetto and not worth looking through. You'll have better luck at marshalls or tj maxx. They have decent home stuff. I have never had to wait in line longer than a few minutes at this one. Parking is also easy. read more

Store is a mess. Clothes and toys were thrown all over the floor and jewelry was broken. Kids and even adults running through the aisles. I loved coming to this store as a kid but I'm disappointed to see the big mess it has become. Long lines and no employees there to help or even cleaning up. Have been here few times, I can't say this is my favorite place to shop. They do have good finds in their home section. I like to browse and find unusual nuts and sweets. On this trip I found a container of peanut dipped in chocolate which was about to expire soon. I asked the sales person if he could do additional mark down because of it's date? Which he did. The lines have always been short and the sales people helpful. There is always lots of parking available in the lot. read more

I put a pair of shoes on hold for less then 24 hours ( they said they would hold them for at least 24 hours) i gave them my information and told them the time i would be in to pick them up. When i went in the next day to pick them up they were not there and no one could find the shoe. long story short i will not shop there again and the employees were NOT helpful. s**ks read more
