However, I do love some of these establishments in this shopping center. Delicate- this Asian grocery store is the best in the area in my opinion. I find all my Filipino products and foods here. Shaking Crab- best seafood in the area! It's served to you in a bag of delicious flavor! KempsRiver Cinema Cafe- through not my favorite cinema cafe, but they play newer movies. Red Ribbon- Their filipino food is delicious. But their mango cakes are to die for!! and of course the usuals such as Panera, Starbucks, Burger King, and Dollar Tree. Great stores. Good location not too far from home.

Each time I turn into the shopping center from Kempsville Road I directly face the beloved spot that no longer exists. The shopping center is located on the northwest corner of Kempsville & Providence Roads. It provides convenient one stop shopping for residents in the area. It's easy to stop for a car wash at Green Clean Express when I'm returning from a doctor appointment in Chesapeake. The L shaped center is anchored by a Food Lion facing the Providence Road entrance. In addition to the previously mentioned businesses the shopping center houses numerous popular fast food restaurants, Music & Arts, Ivy Rehab Center, a pharmacy, cell phone store, hair & nail salons and much more. It truly is one stop shopping. The facade has been upgraded over the years. It's clean and has plentiful parking. Entrance & exit on busy Kempsville Road can be difficult during peak traffic. It's easier at those times to take advantage of the traffic light at Providence Road, even if your stop is on a Kempsville Road out parcel, such as Green Clean Express. The shopping center will always be a stop for me, even though Frankie's Ribs is now only a part of my memories.

I recently placed an order for some "BattleTech" products. It wasn't in stock at the store last week, but it was at another location. They said it would take a week to transfer the material to the Va Beach location and I agreed and left my number with them for when it arrived to the store. A week later I called to check the status and the product was still at the Newport News location. I called the NN location and let call and confirmed the product was in stock and I told them I was on my way to get the material. About an hour later (I live in Va Beach) and upon arrival the product was not on the shelf. So I checked with the register and see if they pulled it. Long story short the material wasn't there. The person who took my call wasn't there anymore and didn't tell the rest of the staff. So I inquired with the assistant manager who called the other locations and turns out the material was at the Va Beach location and told me that the material was transferred to the store two days prior and yet didn't call me. So the manager calls the Virginia Beach and talks to someone and confirms the material is at the store. They say its there and the manager apologies and I tell them to let the Virgina Beach store I am on my way again. I get to the VA Beach store and no one really knows about the order yet again and they can't find it. At5 this point after 2.5 hours of driving around I am frustrated, and the staff can tell. It takes them about 20-25 minutes to find the order, but it finally located. What did the staff do to make this better, Nothing, no discount or any offers or whatever. I didn't make any demands of such but after they had me wasted all that time driving around. The logistics management here is just poor. They lost the order effectively, took them a week to "transfer" a product to another store, and can't make a phone call. I been have been a long time customer (years) and this was just a huge let down.

It houses many little shops such as a book store, subway, but also has larger shops like a super market and fish store. Lot is well maintained. Their are a couple of fast food shops as well. I could see this being a spot to go to if I lived in the surrounding neighborhoods. Our purpose today was for the philly pretzel shop! Running a deal for April 15 pretzels for $5. National pretzel day is April 26th and they are giving away free pretzels!

The shopping center features a mix of neighborhood shopping choices. Occupying space in the center are eateries, dollar stores & other local conveniences. Woods Corner is clean, has plentiful parking spaces and a pleasing exterior facade. It is quite a distance from my house. So it was probably a one time visit. But for residents in the area it's quite convenient.

The shopping center is anchored by a large WalMart & is adjacent to Woods Corner Shopping Center. Kempsville Crossing is quite a distance from my house. But a tenant is my favorite ice cream store, Sundae Scoop. Believe me, it's worth the drive. There is plenty of parking but no handicapped spots close to the stores entrances. Clean and with a modern facade, it gives the appearance of a pleasant place to shop. Joining WalMart & Sundae Scoop the center houses fast food spots Subway & Pizza Hut, Kelly's Tavern, China Kitchen and neighborhood necessities such as hair and nail salons, a dentist, bank and more. I particularly love the ease of finding a business while walking along its sidewalk. The name of each business is listed on a small sign below the sidewalk awning. The simple signs are identical in style and very helpful. This is a shopping center I'll most definitely return to for my ice cream fix, being certain to take home extra pints for later.

She was patient as she searched around for a little while. I've been thrifting and searching for vintage fashion since I was 16 and I can honestly say that this store's vast inventory is impressive! I appreciate that each piece seemed thoughtfully selected because many of the items were in excellent condition and the prices are reasonable, compared to the many curated stores I've been to. I could literally spend hours in this store! I'm so glad I had an opportunity to check this place out before I return to San Francisco. If you're looking for amazing vintage gems...look no further!
