My first Owlbear paint&take

From carefully painted miniatures to numerous games that you can play test before you buy, this spot has it all! I recently joined for a D&D Adventures League and it was a blast learning the mechanics to that game. I am an enormous boardgame enthusiast! I have a collection of over 100 at home and this place makes me want even more of them! The prices of the games are usual, kinda steep... but if convenience runs the world, it's not that bad. The shop keeps even do a great job with referring new games to you and know about the latest news on releases of the new stuff. There's a heavy Magic : The Gathering foothold on this place. To where they have their own tournaments and an entire room for playing the game. There's a decent size spot in the front for a Mech Arena type of game that seems confusing but exciting at the same time. Then, in the back back, there are about 6 tables for whatever you'd like to work with. Whether you're down to learn a new game or just find a new crowd to play with, this place is excellent. The miniatures they have there are stunning. Meticulous handy work with the paint on these beauties definitely make them stand out! There are tons of miniatures to go through in here. I'm sure they have what you need if you're into that realm of play. And onto the used section. From videogames to old boardgames, there's a large variety of options! I've spotted so many videogames that I don't see in any of the other stores in the neighborhood in this place. So drop on in, plop down... or stand if you'd like, and enjoy some analog company with random companions, and/or friends, while you adventure into other realms of imagination!

Not your typical used games & consoles store, not at all. ToG is a board game store, a card game store, a role playing game store, etc. It's a lot of things and video games are just a very small part of it. The video games isle is just one isle and across from it at one of their glass counters you can find some consoles. Most of the games you find there are current ones. By current, PS4, XBox-1, PS3, XBox 360 and some others, however much less after that. While the video game selection isn't the greatest, I've found the prices more than fair. For example on my last visit I found a copy of Starfox64 for the N64 at $13.99. That's about half what it's going for on eBay and other local video game re-sellers. There's definitely deals to be found here and I suspect there always will be since video games aren't their core business. You can find Tower of Games on Indian River Road across from the Acredale shopping center and behind the Chick-fil-A.

It's a great place to get all of your table top gaming items. The guys and gals that work the counter have always been super friendly.

Nice looking store, can get the same stuff elsewhere, frequently cheaper, without the rude clerks.

Update for change over time: They don't offer too much when…read morethey buy your items, but they have insanely good prices. The service is great, and they let you verify that game consoles/cartridge games are legit before you buy. This place is absolutely amazing, I just wish they'd buy at a slightly higher price. This place is worth checking out for books, movies, games, manga, and even collectibles. This is like Cool Stuff or Videogame Heaven, but with even more great things to buy. I'm extremely happy with my WiiU special edition, and the low price I bought it at. Thank you so much for your wonderful service :)

I was told that since they sell books at half the MSRP they buy books at 10-15% of that cost. Several of the books I dropped off were an MSRP IF $17+ and in excellent condition. When I received the quote the next day it was an offer of $13.65. I was told that it's probably because they had a packed kids section. HOWEVER, this was not told to me over the phone or at drop off. I wasted hours of time and energy pulling this together and making sure I was bringing good books to get the max amount. I expressed my frustration with the process when I picked up the books. The person I spoke with couldn't have been more indifferent.

Plenty of retro and modern games if that's what you're looking for but the people running the store…read moreand the employees are dishonest and will undersell you on your trade ins. Went in 5/27/25 to trade in some collectible figures for a PS2 I was looking at, after ab 30 minutes of waiting for an appraisal the staff comes back and says my figure is worth 192 on a trade for IN STORE CREDIT (w/ 20% added for trade in Tuesday's) not knowing the true value of what I had at the time, I accepted the trade and ended up buying a PS2, memory card, warranty, and 2 PS2 games as well which ended up costing me ~300 in total; despite having a figure worth 4-500 I was given a fraction of what it was actually worth and ended up OWING them money. They then claimed that I need to remember that "they are a small business so ‍" What VGH failed to realize is that I had NO issue trading the item in to them since WITH the money I got from the trade I was going to immediately spend it back at the store meaning they would only stand to have made money on our transaction. The issue I have is VGH pulling an underhanded move like this then turning around allowing me to then spend more of my money in store (when my trade-in value was never met in the first place). TLDR: VGH lost a potential returning customer who would have given significantly more money to this company in time than what they got by cheating me out a SINGLE collectible figure. EDIT: I was also given a 3rd party PS2 controller when I bought my PS2 which is a laughable business practice.

We received a humiliating lecture in not reading the receipt which has 8 different store credit policy that makes no sense considering this store appears to be a small vendor that relies on thr community to keep the doors open. But the icing in the cake was the store manager I believe, he didn't announce his role, slipped out of his mouth that most niggers can't read as the cashier was preparing the cash back return for the item after saying he will allow it this one time. I guess he decided to break his own policy that is written on his receipt of no cash back returns - only store credit by how huge my eyes got when I heard the horrible word come out of his mouth. I will never return and I feel sorry for the African American male store cashier that works there for his calm and kind demeanor is what made me purchase in the first place. I will also be reporting this place to the BBB as well, maybe I don't know how to read how to make sure racists store receives reviews that hurt them just like they hurt their customers.
