I'm not sure what possessed me to continue shopping, but I visited this Kohl's store. I had no problem finding a parking spot. The store is located in a plaza of box stores, which includes Walmart. There is tons of parking. I saw some nice tops and sweaters. I went to try on a couple of sweaters in a fitting room, which was clean and spacious. There were hooks to determine whether I had to have the item, if it goes back on the rack, or if I'm still thinking about it. Frankly, the sweaters that I was trying on weren't that flattering on me, so I had to put them back. This store has an amazing selection of PopSockets. I've never seen anything quite like it. They were all on sale. I saw regular ones that I am familiar with. You can get just the tops and swap them out. There was a cute donut enamel one. There were also fancy jewelled ones. I bought the purple jewelled one because it was pretty in my favourite colour. I liked the travel section. There were nice luggage pieces and accessories. There was an aisle of discounted watches and bracelets. I spent some time looking at everything. There was a bracelet with an infinity symbol as a charm that I knew a friend of mine would love. I went to pay at the checkout. I collected Kohl's reward points through the app on my phone. The cashier was helpful and patient. I used a credit card to pay. All was great. I went during a Thursday after work and it was pleasantly peaceful. I was immediately greeted nicely. The items were nicely stocked, nothing was messy. There was a nice variety of items and although it's smaller selection then a TJ Maxx or Marshalls I did enjoy the ones I did find. The rows can be cramped if multiple people are in the same row but I didn't run into this issue. The fitting room was clean and easy to access. The back fitting rooms were closed but the front ones were open. I was able to find some nice picks and even found items I have seen elsewhere cheaper here. I look forward to coming back when I'm in the area! Hope to see more pop up in the twin cities area.

It is similar to TJ Maxx and Marshall's but super crowded and cramped. I like the rolling baskets. No way I'm pushing a cart through all the racks. I found grinch lotion set, grinch clock, picture, 2 grinch rugs and a nice red sweater. Red is my mom's color, hope I'm not turning into her. Iykyk lol. But seriously, I dress up for when I attend meetings out of my home office for work. The staff were real nice. One sweater had a thread snag so I passed on it. I like Ross stores.

In the past, we've had good luck finding larger items here too, like snowboarding gear and even a Yakima Sky Box (large lockable box we take camping for extra car storage). If you are a Nordstrom fan in Canada, they are still alive and kicking stateside to satisfy your shopping needs. I recently visited this Nordstrom at Ridgedale Mall. It wasn't that I was dying to shop there. It was the closest mall entrance to get to Urban Outfitters, which was the store that I wanted. I got a prime parking spot in front of this store. There was a woman with a couple of folks chatting in front of her car that was next to mine. I carefully backed into this spot without mowing them over and headed inside this store. I like how Nordstrom is designed. I've only been to now three Nordstrom locations in my life (San Francisco, Ottawa, and Minnetonka). I like how it has places to sit no matter where you are. I appreciate that detail, especially if you have been on your feet shopping for hours and you need to take a load off them. I needed the escalator to hit the second floor. Cutting through this store was enjoyable. I casually looked at the footwear. I am such a casual sneaker fan that I took some time admiring the Converse and Veja sneakers. I also briefly looked at the women's clothing section. Spring colours featuring pinks and yellow were everywhere. They were cheerful and perked me up. I spent a good chunk of time at Urban Outfitters and got what I needed. I then re-entered Nordstrom on the second floor, went downstairs, and browsed the handbags before leaving. This store had Coach handbags. It was my first time touching one. It's not really my style and the price of the one that I had touched was insane. What kind of ruined my experience was the salesperson in the handbag section. We spoke. She looked at the two handbags that I had. One was my usual Kipling purse. The other was a puffy purple purse (I dare you to say that fast) that I had just purchased at Urban Outfitters. Do you think that I needed a third purse? I'd say no, but she thought otherwise. She was now finding small to medium purses for me. I didn't ask for that. Our chat was pleasant, but I was browsing, and didn't need or want any help. I politely declined her help, wished her a nice evening, and left. Maybe I should come back to the handbag section with a single purse next time. I might not forge such a strong bond with staff members in the handbag section. It's a nice store. Immediately when I walked into this Nordstrom, on the left, on the first floor, are elevators and washrooms. I like how this store is designed to make things easy for customers and staffers alike.
