I was under the impression that they were more expensive than other places but once I began my membership I realized I was completely wrong. I automatically pay each month for a 60min massage and I can add additional massages at the membership rate if I get impatient and need another massage inbetween my regular appointments. I accidentally scheduled my appointment with Joe when I made my initial appointment and am so glad for that! He is amazing! When I say accidentally, I just mean that I intended to schedule with a female therapist but then selected an appointment time on Joe's schedule. They called me to confirm if that was okay and I just rolled with it. I have been seeing him at least once a month ever since. I have been getting massages since before I even had a license. Joe is the most consistent therapist I ever had. I prefer deep tissue massages and I get just that...for the entire 60 minutes unlike some massages where only here and there feels good. Joe is professional and always checks in before each session to determine if there are any specific spots he should focus on. Prior to leaving I always get my next appointment on the calendar. The customer service here is great. Because they are super small and don't always have someone at the desk, I typically have to leave a message when calling. I always receive a call back within the hour. I have had to call to reschedule an appointment or two and never had an issue. I highly recommend checking them out. At this point I'm agitated and sternly advised her that I am not obligated to tip whatsoever, however I was going to anyway-- but since $10 was not enough and she felt entitled to the amount SHE preferred I would not be tipping anything. For the purposes of this review, I am a Black woman and I have heavy doubt that she would have had the same audacity if I was another race. The sheer audacity. I used to frequent this place but this was so off putting and offensive. Suffice it to say, I will never return and they have lost a customer. She explained to me what she was going to do from cleansing to exfoliating, then moisturizing & massaging the back with an analysis if one has bacne (Yes, that's a real thing to have acne on your back).
