I thoroughly enjoyed the spa and fitness center at Live. I received the Live Signature Massage with Peppermint Oil. I had a choice of oils between Lavender and Peppermint. The massage was much needed after attending boot camp and having sore muscles. Minta was friendly, professional and an AWESOME massage therapist. The ambience was both relaxing and beautiful. The fitness center was very nice too. It provided the equipment that I needed to get a great workout while staying at the hotel. I am thinking about returning tomorrow for a body treatment, time would not permit it today. I would definitely recommend this spa, it a great place to retreat and revive yourself. read more

I booked a massage at Live! Spa hoping for a relaxing experience, especially being 36 weeks pregnant, but the entire process caused me more stress than relief. My original appointment was scheduled for April 16, but when I arrived the receptionist could not find my reservation. My best friend, who booked it for me, eventually helped them locate it, but by then my appointment time had already passed. I was told it would be rescheduled for April 22 at 12 PM. When I returned on April 22, another receptionist, Precious, told me there was no appointment in the system again. I was then told my original holding fee had already been used, but I could receive a refund after speaking with management if I placed another holding fee for a new appointment on April 23 at 2:30 PM. After finally attending the April 23 appointment, I asked about the refund I had been promised and was then told by another employee that I could not be refunded even though all of these issues were caused by staff errors, not me. I came for a massage to relax during the final weeks of pregnancy and instead left feeling frustrated and more stressed. The lack of organization, poor communication, and conflicting information from staff was extremely disappointing. A spa should be peaceful and professional, but this experience was the complete opposite. read more

I had the pleasure of receiving a massage recently here and though it was pleasant, I wouldn't say it blew my mind. The waiting lounge area was nice, and throughout the place, they had plenty of mini fringes with water stocked up, which was great. The awkward part for me was waiting for my massage. I had an appointment at 1 and no one came to get me, so a little before 1:15 I ventured out into the hallway and found my masseuse. The massage started out pretty good, but the latter half, I felt was wasted while she spent more time going back and forth getting the hot stones than actually massaging me. If I went back, I would prefer not to get the hot stones. The other small mishap was that we initially booked a facial with the massage and I found out that the facial was canceled when I arrived at the spa. They said they called my husband (who booked the appts) but he had no missed calls or voicemails. We later did find an email that had only the massage, so maybe that was their way of letting us know? I enjoy a good hot steam after a long day of networking and computer work and could not find a large, new spa that included a steam facility anywhere nearby. I had my very first facial with Crystal at the spa. The welcome by Manager Hannah and tour throughout was inviting and explained so well-how to use the locker and the amenities that could be used before and after the service. The luxurious robes were such a treat. I was welcomed into the waiting area to enjoy infused water and a snack prior to my facial, which relaxed me thoroughly. Crystal explained all of the products in detail before using them-how they would feel, cool or warm to the touch; how they would perform on my skin, and the benefits I would experience after. She made sure I was comfortable with steam and the warm towels that would be applied. Although I felt comfortable and relaxed on the table while the soft music was playing, she put my mind at ease. To my surprise, she even massaged my arms and hands! Following the facial, I was escorted back to the lounge area for my choice of beverage from the menu, and a snack bag. Alluring décor and spacious Locker Room accommodations are paired with a luxurious robe and sandals for comfort. Secure lockers to safeguard my personal belongings was convenient and much appreciated. After getting comfortable, I soon found myself cozied up in the coed lounge with ice-cold, watermelon infused water and refreshments, with a quaint menu of optional items available to further enhance my day at the Spa. My massage therapist, Qwaisha, was very professional in her introduction and reviewed my needs ahead of my 50 minute custom massage, checking to ensure my comfort with pressure, temperature of the heat treatments and customizing the oils used to my preferred scent during my service. (I would've welcomed an orange bergamot type scent over the lavender or eucalyptus options but perhaps that's an option that may be offered in the future.) After almost an hour of tranquilizing relief of my general fatigue and stress in my most tense areas, I was gently guided back to the lounge for a glass of Prosecco and water before further enjoying the amenities of the Ladies Locker Room where the steam room boosted my leisurely spa adventure at Live! (Next time, I need to grab one of the delightful candles that were available for purchase so I can recreate the refreshing aromatics at home!) Overall, I'm looking forward to my next trip to Live! The service and staff at the spa and fitness center was GREAT! The facility was beautiful and relaxing. My husband and I went there to celebrate our anniversary with a couples message. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. After check-in the message therapists were waiting to take care of us, and that they did. Dillyn was amazing! The therapist that my husband had was great also. However, I don't remember her name...sorry. They were both so nice and professional. The massages were amazing and after our messages we had a bottle of complementary champagne waiting for us. After visiting two times to the spa, I am convinced that the Live spa is a relaxing space one should visit. First, valet parking is validated in the spa. So, feel free to pull up to front door and head straight to the elevators, up to second floor. I experienced a pedicure on my first visit, and a full body scrub on the second trip. I left thoroughly relaxed after the scrub and moisturizing treatment. Ladies and guys, there is nothing more important than being moisturized and having glowing skin as the summer approaches. The treatment was from head to toe. I followed up with lunch in the coed relaxation room. This was a much better dining experience than my first, and I enjoyed my lunch of oysters and cesar salad. Everything about this place is absolute Zen. Very calm relaxing atmosphere. The moment you step off the elevator you feel like you're in a different world. Every aspect of the spa was absolutely beautiful. The coed relaxation room was a nice oasis to relax in before and after my treatment.
