My friend is also over 21 but out of principal I left all the things I was going to buy and my beer at the front. She did not need to be so aggressive and make me feel like I did something wrong, when I absolutely did not. Plus what is that rule for? The person she was referring to is just on my survey crew with me. We were in separate cars going separate places but saw each other in the store and talked for a minute. Why does my having a beer affect her at all? AND when I called and politely asked for the manager I got hung up on. I'd never go here again.

They stop for a bathroom break halfway through and this is the gas station they stopped in. The workers were really kind and fully prepared to handle the swarm of 50+ people all filing in at once. They have clean restrooms, a lot of snack and beverage options, and some good NH souvenirs. I definitely think this is the best option for a gas station within a few hours drive.

Simons puts out some really good pizza! Apparently they also make Gluten Free pizza if that's your thing. I did not order any subs/wraps but I saw the young lady in the back making them and they looked good. The staff both in the pizza area and the gas attendant were very friendly and nice. Mike's is also a big supporter of the V.A.S.T. trail system and that is much appreciated by us sledders!

Most of my reviews will concentrate on these two areas when rating a convenience store. Unless the service is spectacular/absolutely horrible or if the store is grossly dirty I'll rate them average. This store is below average. The coffee machines are kind of cool as they grind the beans in front of you but I'm pretty sure the beans are old as the coffee isn't great. I can live with poor coffee because caffeine is caffeine. However a dirty bathroom is unforgivable. At 6 am the floor was dirty. Hadn't been swept or mopped recently. You could see using spots and greasy footprint's in the grime. Toilet paper littered the floor and the sink was dirty. The sign in the bathroom proclaims really clean bathrooms but that apparently isn't true. The checklist on the door indicating an employee has checked and made sure it was clean was incomplete and dated for the day before.
