The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and you could tell they genuinely cared about the kittens. The kittens were so curious, playful, and adorable. Whenever one of them had a little accident, the employee cleaned it up right away and made sure the kittens were well taken care of. The only thing I'd love to see is a few more non-coffee drink options since I'm not much of a coffee drinker. That said, my friends ordered coffee and really enjoyed it. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend stopping by if you're looking for a cozy place to relax and spend some time with some very sweet cats!! :)

I mean, let's face it, Doodles are typically in one of three phases.... getting an ear infection, having an ear infection, or being treated for..... an ear infection. (They are kinda the cocker spaniels from the 70's, but on steroids in the standard doodle size) My precious baby boy, all 113 pounds of his fluffy high maintenance chicken allergy poodle belly butt, is happy again as we are moving into phase three, treating and healing from an ear infection. These folks are the gold standard of vet care I have always sought. seriously, as a downtown chicago kid, moved to owning a farm and adopting a farm tough and farm sensible attitude about my animals care, these nice folks were everything I had hoped for in a new vet practice! One of our dogs has major anxiety, and they are really good at working with her and her quirks. Our other dog is senior and they are so gentle with him. My appointments there typically take about an hour, but many vaccines can be given without a true appointment and the tech can just take them back to administer the meds. We have seen many vets there and they are all nice and treated my animals well. You can tell that they care a lot about each animal individually.

I was a client at this veterinary office for almost 8 years. I originally chose them because I…read morewanted a place that would love my dogs as much as I do. Over time, I noticed that the customer service felt performative--what some call "West Michigan Nice." I expressed in a survey that I wished for more authenticity and genuine service. The office manager followed up with me, asking for examples, which I provided. Shortly after, I was told they had decided to part ways with no prior warning or explanation. Instead of a conversation about any supposed concerns with me as a client, they sent their lawyer to inform me that my relationship was being terminated--not because of the survey, but due to a "pattern of interactions" over the years. This was the first time I had ever been told anything like that. If there were actual concerns about me as a client, why was I never given a warning in nearly 8 years? The lawyer also stated they would not refund me for my Vaccines for Life program unless I signed a non-disparagement agreement, which I refused. Reading through my dog's medical records after being terminated, I discovered comments about me that I had never been made aware of. It felt as though they had been secretly building a case against me while still taking my money for years. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and disheartened. I entrusted them with my beloved dogs, particularly my pup with Addison's disease, and never expected such cold treatment from a place that claims to be compassionate. Additionally, after my survey response, they changed their survey format to no longer ask, "What could we do to be more satisfactory?" Instead, they now only ask for rating scales--further proving that they only wanted feedback that made them feel good, not feedback that would actually help them improve. I wanted to work this out with them because my dogs received good medical care, but at the end of the day, I realized this wasn't the place for me or them. I don't recommend this clinic to others for these reasons. This review reflects my personal experiences and opinions.

In two years their professional fees have gone up $20. 9 weeks ago I brought in a 3 legged cat solely to get a prescription renewed that used to be over the counter. The veterinary technician could not restrain the 3 legged cat correctly almost dropped him on the floor twice and when she finally had ahold of him, there was an audible pop of what I thought was his mid back and 3 weeks later, having to take him to a chiropractor finding out his only shoulder was pulled out completely as well as his pelvis, I've had no less than 5 Chiropractic visits so far to try to correct this injury. And the cat is now lame in cannot walk. I called Westwood Hills today to get the name of the veterinary technician that injured my animal and they refuse to give me the technician's name, stating it is their job to protect the tech. And now I have to wait for a phone call from the practice owner to see if she's willing to give me the name of the technician so that I can file a malpractise claim. Do not take your animals here. It is solely about money... pharmaceuticals and food and whatever the practice owner says she cares nothing for animals. Nothing.
